<text>Water stress is one of the most important environmental factors inducing physiological changes in plants, such as decrease in the water potential of the cells, the stomatal closure; and the development of oxidative processes mediated by reactive oxygen species (ROS). Antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) are efficient scavengers of ROS. The aim of this research was to examine how the application of biostimulant based on humic substances and aminoacids may affect activity levels of SOD, CAT, and APX of maize and soybean plants under well-watered or drought stress conditions. Pots (4.5 L) were filled with a Typic Hapludult soil where the biostimulants doses were applied. It was taken leaf samples in order to analyze SOD, CAT, and APX activities in plants. SOD and APX activity levels were increased by application of biostimulant 1 in maize subjected to stress. Catalase activity was not enhanced in plants by using the biostimulants.

It could be possible to give priority to the factors that take placein a production process of biological products plants, according to the new tendency in maintenance. Atypical installation is described and also the factors, of such plants, that have to be considered. All theseresults must be compared by using a matrix, taking into account all the factors that interfere in the criticismand complexity of the installation. That was done by well experience engineers and experts. The modelwas validated using expert methods obtaining satisfactory results.Key words: biological products, critical index, critical models, asset hierarchy, asset maintenance.</text>

Among the various oilseeds, the castor bean was identified by the National Program for Production and Use of Biodiesel, as the ideal one to promote social development in Brazil's northeast region. However the survey shows that the production of this raw material was not competitive for biodiesel production. The research is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory, and multi-case studies were used for their analysis. The instrument used for data collection was a semi-structured personal interview. Visits to production units were also conducted, which enabled data triangulation. Thus, this paper describes each driver and presents a picture of the competitiveness of both agricultural and industrial productions in this chain. The influence of each driver was evaluated using a Likert scale. The results present a clear view of the competitive segments in the analyzed agribusiness chain.</text>

Soil computerized system agriculture management to climate change.ABSTRACTSoil Science is the basis of issues such as climate change and desertification. Voluminous data provided by soil studies, up valuable information to meet the demands of society and political decisions. The challenge is to have that information accurately, quantitative, accessible, understandable and adapt to the needs of the new requirements manner. In this regard, a project for the computerization, evaluation, recommendation and monitoring of soil for better utilization was developed. During execution system design was developed, based on the fundamental processes that drive the technical and scientific services of the Institute of Soil. Integrated System Soils Data (ISSD), for efficient management of information in the management of agriculture to the possible global changes in food production and conservation of soil quality was obtained. This system is made up of a software package that integrates and process information (SARLAB, REGIFERT, SEMCAS and GISMDS) to speed up the response of soil condition in the management of agriculture, organize the control system, the flow of soil information and increasing economic efficiency.</text>
