Um estudo de caso foi realizado na localidade de Espírito Santo, município de Maracanã, estado do Pará. Os principais procedimentos metodológicos foram a observação e a realização de entrevistas abertas e semiestruturadas. Três aspectos centrais são analisados: a organização do trabalho da mulher (na casa e no campo), os arranjos para beneficiamento e venda e o usufruto da renda gerada pelo trabalho no extrativismo. Os resultados demonstram que a maioria das mulheres (66%) considera que tem autonomia na organização do trabalho e no uso da renda da venda dos frutos, o que contraria as pesquisas acadêmicas sobre a agricultura familiar em que o trabalho da mulher é, geralmente, subordinado ao do homem. MÉTODOS: Foi realizado um estudo de intervenção com abordagem de articulação de redes intersetoriais presenciais, desenvolvidas a partir da atuação de equipes compostas por nutricionista, educador popular e engenheiro agrônomo ou técnico agrícola, que visitaram, por pelo menos dois momentos, todos os municípios pertencentes aos Territórios da Cidadania, visando articular redes intersetoriais presenciais capazes de desencadear processos locais de mobilização, organização e apoderamento de diferentes atores para a aquisição de produtos da agricultura familiar para a alimentação escolar nos municípios que compõem os referidos territórios. RESULTADOS: Os resultados mais expressivos foram: 14% dos municípios visitados apresentaram melhora na organização da agricultura familiar; 14% dos gestores passaram a apoiar o processo de aquisição de alimentos segundo a Lei nº 11.947/2009, e 27% dos municípios que não possuíam nutricionista contrataram o profissional. Não foram considerados satisfatórios os resultados obtidos para situação do Conselho de Alimentação Escolar. CONCLUSÃO: As ações desenvolvidas foram capazes de contribuir positivamente para o avanço da implementação da Lei Federal nº 11.947/2009 nos Territórios de Cidadania abordados. Colobanthus quitensis (Kunth) Bartl. (Caryophyllaceae) es una de las dos plantas vasculares nativas que habitan la Antártica Marítima y se ha demostrado que su desempeño fisiológico y reclutamiento es afectado negativamente por el estrés hídrico del suelo. La plasticidad fenotípica y la adaptación local serían dos de las principales estrategias de C. quitensis para lidiar con las adversas condiciones ambientales que predominan en el continente antártico. Se ha documentado que, bajo un escenario futuro de cambio climático, la disponibilidad hídrica en la Antártica aumentaría entre un 30-40%, mejorando las condiciones para el establecimiento. En el presente trabajo evaluamos mediante un experimento de jardín común, realizado en cámaras de crecimiento, la plasticidad morfo-fisiológica y el esfuerzo reproductivo en individuos de C. quitensis provenientes de dos sitios en las Islas Shetland, bajo un escenario simulado de cambio climático (aumento en un 40% de la disponibilidad hídrica) y bajo la situación actual (disponibilidad hídrica registrada en los sitios de origen). En general, los individuos de C. quitensis de ambos sitios presentaron evidencia de plasticidad, aumentando su eficiencia fotoquímica, largo y ancho foliar, y esfuerzo reproductivo bajo la condición de aumento en la disponibilidad hídrica. La magnitud del aumento en la respuesta plástica fue mayor en aquellos individuos provenientes del sitio más árido en comparación a sus con-específicos del sitio más húmedo. Si los actuales patrones de cambio climático se mantienen, las condiciones abióticas podrían volverse más favorables para C. quitensis, mejorando su desempeño ecofisiológico y permitiendo la expansión de su rango de distribución sobre la Antártica.Antarctica is characterized by extreme environmental conditions, which limit the establishment of vascular plants. These environmental conditions include low temperatures, short growing season and shortage of water and nutrients. Low water availability has been suggested as the main constraint to successful establishment, because it adversely affects the reproductive and physiological responses of plants. Colobanthus quitensis (Kunth) Bartl. (Caryophyllaceae) is one of the two native vascular plants that inhabit the Maritime Antarctic and its physiological performance and recruitment have been shown to be negatively affected by soil water stress in the Antarctica. Phenotypic plasticity and local adaptation would be two of the main strategies of C. quitensis to cope with adverse environmental conditions prevailing in the Antarctic continent. It has been suggested that, under a future climate change scenario, water availability will increase by 30-40%, improving the conditions for plant establishment. In this study we evaluated in a common garden experiment, conducted in growth chambers, the morpho-physiological plasticity and reproductive effort in C. quitensis individuals from two sites located in the Shetland Islands, under a simulated scenario of climate change (40% increase in water availability) and under the current situation (water availability recorded in the sites of origin). overall, individuals of C. quitensis of both sites showed a plastic response, increasing the photochemical efficiency, leaf width and length and reproductive effort under increased water availability. Plasticity was greater in those individuals from the more arid site as compared to con-specifics from a mesic site. If current climate change patterns are maintained, abiotic conditions could become more favorable for C. quitensis, improving ecophysiological performance and allowing the spread of its range in the Antarctic. Etchevers Description An account of the resource El análisis de una extensa revisión bibliográfica sobre la investigación en conservación de carbono en suelos de México muestra que prácticas de agricultura de conservación y diversos sistemas de producción tradicionales pueden incrementar de manera considerable el carbono orgánico en suelos, lo que repercute en su resistencia ante el impacto de la lluvia, mejora la tasa de infiltración y la cantidad de agua disponible, incrementa el contenido de la biomasa microbiana, disminuye la erosión y mitiga la emisión de gases de efecto invernadero. La relevancia que adquiere la calidad de los suelos en la seguridad alimentaria y en los impactos ambientales, incluyendo el cambio climático, explica la importancia de su incorporación en las políticas públicas del país. Sin embargo, la revisión de instrumentos de política pública del presente sexenio (2013-2018) expone grandes vacíos y contradicciones que se presentan a través de ejemplos concretos de acciones. El escaso presupuesto destinado a la conservación de suelos (2.12% del presupuesto total de SAGARPA en 2014) aplicado mayormente (más de 80%) a infraestructura hidráulica señala por un lado, la ausencia del reconocimiento del suelo como medio para infiltrar y retener agua; y por el otro, la incipiente incorporación de los estudios sobre carbono en suelos en los instrumentos de política pública correspondientes. Utilizou-se delineamento inteiramente casualizado, em esquemafatorial 3x2, correspondendo a três sistemas de produção e duas densidades de estocagem, com quatro repetições por tratamento. Anova e teste de Tukey foram aplicados aos dados (α = 0,05). Os peixes produzidos nos viveiros em monocultivo e policultivo apresentarammais que o dobro de ganho de peso, menor consumo de ração, melhor conversão alimentar, maior comprimento-padrão e uniformidade do lote em relação aos peixes mantidos em aquários. A produção em aquários apresentou menor sobrevivência que o monocultivo. O aumento da densidade reduziu o ganho de peso, o comprimento-padrão e o fator decondição, independentemente do sistema usado. A biomassa não apresentou diferença entre as densidades nos aquários e aumentou com a densidade nos tratamentos mono e policultivo. O peso médio e a sobrevivência final dos camarões no sistema semi-intensivoem policultivo foram 1,66 g e 84,4%, respectivamente. Pelos melhores resultados de crescimento, a densidade 1,6 peixe 10 L-1 é melhor para a criação do acará-bandeira do que 3,2 peixes 10 L-1. O acará-bandeira pode ser produzido em hapas em sistema semi-intensivoem mono ou policultivo com camarão-da-amazônia, com melhor desempenho do que em sistema intensivo em aquários.Thepresent study aimed to compare three production systems for freshwater angelfish: intensive indoor aquarium, semi-intensive greenhoused earth pond (monoculture) and greenhoused earth pond in polyculture with Amazon River prawn. Two stock densitieswere also tested: 1.6 and 3.2 fish 10 L-1. The experimental design was entirely randomized, in a 3x2 factorial scheme, with four replicates. ANOVA and Tukey’s test were used (α = 0.05). Fish from monoculture and polyculture systems showed over twice the weight gain,lower food consumption, better food conversion rate, bigger standard length and group uniformity than the fish maintained in aquariums. The aquarium system showed lower survival than monoculture. The stock density increase reduced the weight gain, standard length and body condition in all culture systems. The interaction analysis for biomass was statistical significance, showing no difference between the densities inside aquarium and increasing with density within mono and polyculture ponds. In polyculture, mean final weight and survival of Amazon river prawns were 1.66 g e 84.4%, respectively. Due tobetter growth results, density of 1.6 fish 10 L-1 is better than 3.2 fish 10 L-1. Freshwater angelfish can be produced better in hapas on monocultured or polycultured semi-intensive compared to indoor aquariums system. El trabajo se realizó en siete parcelas de productores de maíz, de las cuales tres han sido manejadas con frijol nescafé (Mucuna deeringiana Merr.) como AVCC y cuatro sin dicho antecedente de manejo. En cada una de las parcelas se establecieron cuatro tratamientos de biofertilización: 1) inoculación con micorriza arbuscular, 2) aplicación de fertilizante orgánico foliar, 3) inoculación con micorriza + fertilizante orgánico foliar, y 4) testigo, los cuales se ordenaron bajo un diseño de bloques completos al azar con siete repeticiones. En total se identificaron 23 morfoespecies, de las cuales 14 se llevaron a nivel de especie, siendo Glomus y Acaulospora los géneros predominantes. El número de especies con AVCC superó en 50% al obtenido sin AVCC. En las parcelas con AVCC se encontró el 91,3% de morfoespecies de HMA, mientras que en las parcelas sin AVCC el 60,9%. El porcentaje de colonización micorrízica no varió significativamente (p=0,7630) entre parcelas con y sin AVCC, sin embargo el nivel de colonización fue más alto con inoculación de micorrizas (86,6%) que en el testigo (71%). Se concluye que el AVCC y la inoculación con micorrizas tuvieron un efecto positivo en la diversidad de especies de HMA y en la colonización de la raíz, respectivamente.The present work was conducted with the objective of know the density, abundance and diversity of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) associated with maize (Zea mays L.) in plots that have been managed with low incomes of external inputs green manure/cover crop (AVCC) and biofertilizers. The work was conducted in seven farmer plots with maize crop, of which three have been managed with nescafe bean (Mucuna deeringiana Merr.) as AVCC and four without such antecedent of managing. In each plot were established four treatments of biofertilization: 1) inoculation with AMF, 2) foliar application of organic fertilizer, 3) mycorrhizal inoculation with foliar organic fertilizer, and 4) control, which were ordered under a randomized complete block design with seven replications. In total we identified 23 morphospecies, 14 of which were carried at level of species, being Glomus and Acaulospora the dominant genera. The number of species in plots with AVCC was 50% higher than without AVCC. In the plots with AVCC was found 91.3% of morphospecies of AMF, while in plots without AVCC the 60.9%. The percentage of mycorrhizal colonization was not significantly different (p=0.7630) between plots with and without AVCC, but the colonization level was higher with mycorrhizal inoculation (86.6%) that in the control (71%). We conclude that AVCC and inoculation with mycorrhizae had a positive effect on species diversity of AMF and root colonization, respectively.
