Esta necesidad se fundamenta en los cambios en los patrones de disturbio a nivel global, en la necesidad de promover acciones de adaptación y mitigación al cambio climático, en la conservación de especies en categoría de amenaza y en las demandas de grupos de investigadores y diversas organizaciones de la sociedad civil. Para ello, se incluyen antecedentes de las modificaciones ambientales que se produjeron al establecer plantaciones de especies arbóreas exóticas en áreas de bosque nativo. El objetivo de este debate es fomentar proyectos de forestación, reforestación y restauración que se basen en especies arbóreas nativas.

e objective of this study was to determine the changes andeffects of climate variables on transient crop yields in the province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. Temperature and precipitation were analyzed based on historicalseries from 1981-2015, current series (2016-2019) and projections (2019-2050). ArcGis 10,3soware was used to measure the climatic variability of these parameters. Vulnerability analysisconsidered production under the effect of weather conditions. Results indicate that the averagemulti-year temperature variation is 25,86 °C and the precipitation is 2 202.83 mm, what favoredthe production of 5 225 kg ha -1 of maize, 3 076.8 kg ha -1 rice and 1 147 kg ha -1 of soybeans.According to climate projections for 2016-2050, an increase of 1.07 ° C in the temperaturevariable and decrease in precipitation (303 mm) which will generate a decrease in crop yields in29; 27 and 24 % for corn, rice and soy respectively.

El estudio refleja que, la comunidad de Awastingni cuenta con siete principales comunidades, las cuales se fundamentan en los medios de vida de la comunidad. Existe un gran avance de la frontera agrícola provocado por la invasión de colonos que ha causado desequilibrio, por consiguiente, una mala influencia en el uso de los medios de vida. Los grandes retos que tiene este territorio es el defender su territorio ya que los mismos líderes territoriales y comunales junto con autoridades de gobierno y partidos políticos han vendido las tierras comunales. Para enfrentar este proceso, el territorio de AMASAU cuenta con cuatro sistemas de gobernanza, que va de la mano para el funcionamiento y desarrollo del territorio

Os planos de desenvolvimento em diferentes níveis – do local ao global – aspiram eliminar a pobreza, a fome, tornar acessível a assistência médica, criar melhores acessos à educação, melhorar o transporte, o emprego e a qualidade de vida, tudo nas próximas décadas. No entanto, esses planos colidem com a realidade da mudança climática, mais precisamente, com o Antropoceno, que já cria conflitos de grandes dimensões. Esses planos de desenvolvimento só irão se intensificar dentro de décadas, porque as mudanças climáticas e outras consequências da devastação global do meio ambiente levam a uma efetiva diminuição dos recursos. Eles permitem não apenas o desenvolvimento, mas também uma reprodução elementar das pré-condições essenciais da vida. O modelo atual de desenvolvimento contribuiu substancialmente para a intensificação da acessibilidade desigual aos recursos e os conflitos já existentes aumentaram e novos surgiram. A água como recurso essencial causará novos conflitos. Assim, a população crescente, a expansão dos desertos e o aumento do nível do mar aumentarão os conflitos pela terra. A frequente ocorrência de ondas de calor fortalecerá os conflitos por uma terra adequada à vida humana, o que significa que as áreas habitáveis aumentarão gradualmente. Portanto, há uma necessidade de reavaliar a qualidade e a hierarquia dos recursos e sua acessibilidade, bem como os conceitos de desenvolvimento. O desenvolvimento da humanidade tem sido feito em detrimento de outros recursos em muitos casos e, principalmente, às custas do meio ambiente. A situação atual levanta uma questão de justiça climática tanto do ponto de vista histórico quanto sistemático. Isso abre a necessidade de reformular o conceito de direitos humanos a partir da perspectiva de suas pré-condições ambientais essenciais e definir a condição dos migrantes ambientais

En el presente trabajo se realiza una valoración crítica de las principales motivaciones para el desarrollo, uso y formulación de políticas sobre los biocombustibles. Se utilizan como base fundamental los reportes de la literatura especializada en la temática. Queda en evidencia que la esperada expansión en la producción de biocombustibles se debe a los beneficios que ofrecen como contribución a la mitigación del cambio climático, la redución de la dependencia mundial en los escasos e inciertos suministros de petróleo y, además, que favorecen la reducción de los precios del petróleo. Las motivaciones que impulsan la búsqueda de fuentes alternativas de energía, se agrupan en tres áreas fundamentales: medioambientales, económicas y políticas, y las de índole social. Entre ellas se señalan como claves: la contaminación ambiental, la demanda y la seguridad energética. A estos elementos positivos se contraponen una serie de dificultades para el desarrollo y uso de los biocombustibles, tales como la disponibilidad y suministro sustentable de materias primas, propiedades limitantes y otras que cambian con el tiempo. El aspecto económico confluye en que la mayor fracción del costo en la generación de energía con biomasa se origina en las operaciones logísticas, estos sistemas deben estar localizados cercanos a la fuente de biomasa y ser sistemas descentralizados, el tamaño de las instalaciones depende entre otras variables de la disponibilidad de biomasa.

El bosque de niebla de México, formación vegetal ampliamente conocida en este país como bosque mesófilo de montaña, incluye una variedad de asociaciones que ocupan aproximadamente 1% del territorio nacional. Por su distribución fragmentaria en las partes media y alta de las serranías húmedas (principalmente, pero no de manera continua entre 1500 y 2500 m de altitud), su compleja historia biogeográfica y su contacto con muchos otros tipos de vegetación, este bosque incluye al menos 10% de las plantas vasculares de la flora mexicana (alrededor de 27 000 especies). Recientemente se ha estimado que de un total de 762 especies arbóreas que prosperan en estos bosques, al menos 60% están en alguna categoría de amenaza de acuerdo con los criterios de la UICN (23% Vulnerable, 27% En Peligro y 11% En Peligro Crítico). Las tendencias actuales de crecimiento poblacional, de cambio de uso del suelo y el cambio climático mundial exigen acciones de conservación y restauración para revertir sus efectos. El modelo convencional de conservación consistente en establecer áreas naturales protegidas puede ser viable y todavía necesario en algunas áreas para conservar la integridad de los bosques de niebla en su conjunto. Sin embargo, en la mayor parte de su distribución se requiere de estrategias novedosas de restauración que logren conciliar su aprovechamiento sustentable y el bienestar de sus pobladores con la conservación del extraordinario patrimonio natural que representan para México y el mundo.
