La cuenca mediterránea es un área de especial vulnerabilidad frente al cambio climático. En este escenario, se ha comprobado que la vid modifica su comportamiento. Numerosos estudios indican un efecto en la fenología, con brotaciones más tempranas, acortamiento de los ciclos de maduración y un retraso en la finalización del ciclo vegetativo. Además, se está produciendo un cambio en la composición de la uva y de los vinos producidos, que comprometen la identidad de los productos. Todo ello, compromete la definición de Terruño y la tipicidad de los productos de las regiones vitícolas. En Mallorca, la actividad vitícola y la producción de vinos tiene una extensa historia. En la actualidad conviven variedades locales con variedades foráneas. Hasta ahora no se han realizado estudios de los efectos del cambio climático en el comportamiento de estas variedades en las condiciones particulares de la Isla. Por ello, este trabajo pretende aportar nuevos conocimientos sobre dichos efectos, Los resultados muestran que en los últimos 50 años se ha producido un incremento de 1,5 ºC en la temperatura media anual y se han repetido períodos de sequía cada vez más prolongados en el tiempo. Como consecuencia, se ha producido un incremento significativo de la concentración de azúcares del mosto y, por ende, de la graduación de los vinos. Por otra parte, se han adelantado las vendimias sobre todo en variedades de ciclo medio y largo de maduración. De todas las variedades estudiadas, la variedad local Manto Negro es la que ha mostrado una mayor capacidad de adaptación a las nuevas condiciones climáticas. O bioestimulante na dose e na forma aplicada não proporcionou melhoras no desenvolvimento das plantas quando submetidas à falta de água, já em plantas submetidas ao excesso de água, houve aumento do diâmetro do colo das plantas.This work was aimed at evaluating the effect of biostimulant Stimulate® applied or not at different development stages of cotton plant cv Delta Opal, (Gossypium hirsutum L.) cultivated in greenhouse, subjected or not to water stress. Applications of 25, 60 and 100% of total volume of pores (VTP) filled up with water were conducted, and then Stimulate® was sprinkled over the seed and on the flower bud stage, without biostimulant application 69 days after sowing. The water stress time period was that of 15, 30 and 45 days after water stress application. The cotton plant cv Delta Opal did not tolerate hydric deficit of 25% VTP on the flower bud set off, where smaller heights as well as smaller colon diameters and flower number were observed, all of which also endanger reproductive structure formation. The use of biostimulant on the dosage and the type of application did not render any improvement on plant development when submitted to lack of water; nevertheless there was a colon diameter increase on plants subjected to water excess. Los aportes más relevantes, se conjugan en una batería de indicadores referenciales con énfasis en la dimensión física ambiental, que podrían ser útiles al momento de plantear un modelo de Unidad Barrial Sostenible (UBS) para Latinoamérica. The unsustainability is a subject of reflection forced in the current moments that the planet lives, where the great challenges to face are marked by climate change, population growth and accelerated urbanization, whose consequences go hand in hand with the irrational consumption of resources, pollution, inequality and poverty. In Latin America, this situation is reflected in discontinuous urban growth, poor peripheries, low densities, lack of infrastructure and services, among other factors that have been considered triggers of socio-environmental and health problems of its population; facts that require to be treated through more comprehensive planning processes, including sustainability criteria and measurement mechanisms such as indicators and sustainability indices, to help forge more sustainable cities and territories. The research aims to contrast the Latin American reality with other realities already highlighted in the subject, such as the European one through the Spanish case, in order to overcome the sector vision of analysis. Worlwide ruminants are an important source of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) as they contribute with around 115 million tons of methane on a yearly basis. Methane is generated by the fermentation of the feed inside the rumen by a microbial consortia constituted by bacteria, archaea, fungi and protozoa. Due to the warming power of methane, which is 28 higher than carbon monoxide, current research focuses on diminishing the emissions of this gas by domestic ruminants. The use of several species of tropical trees and shrubs as a supplement of ruminant feed have resulted ideal within silvopastoral systems. Objective. To analyze the current research on trees tropical foliage through the implementation of silvopastoral systems in conventional livestock systems with the aim to diminish GHG generated by ruminal fermentation. Methodology. The search of bibliographic information was performed during august 2018 and june 2019 using key terms. Results. The results from the diverse research shows that foliage from trees and shrubs located in tropical regions not only increase livestock performance, but al so diminish methane synthesis within the rumen due to the action of derived plant secondary metabolites such as condensed tannins, phenolic compounds, essential oils, flavonoids and saponins present in leaves and pods. Implications. The information presented in this paper focuses on the use of foliage of tree and shrub species with forage potential in tropical conditions, which have a significant effect on the reduction of methanogenesis in ruminants due to an improvement in nutritional quality of the diet and the presence of secondary metabolites Conclusion.  The use of silvopastoral systems with tropical legumes species have the potential of reducing the GHG produced by cattle by 20 up to 38 %. El concepto ha sido utilizado desde el enfoque de la gestión adaptativa de recursos naturales para comprender la resiliencia a diferentes tipos de cambio, incluyendo cambios de régimen en los ecosistemas, el cambio climático, disturbios y estrés sobre los sistemas agrícolas.Objetivo: Este artículo es una revisión bibliográfica del aporte de la Teoría de Redes Sociales para el estudio de la gestión adaptativa de los sistemas socio-ecológicos, influenciada por capacidades del subsistema social, como el aprendizaje, la innovación y la colaboración.Métodos: Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica, totalizando 46 artículos científicos que adoptan el enfoque de las redes sociales para el análisis de la gestión adaptativa. Asimismo, se hizo una revisión complementaria de los principales conceptos abordados.Resultados: En este trabajo se presentan las características estructurales más relevantes de las redes sociales y como pueden ser utilizadas para explicar la capacidad de auto-organización de los sistemas hacia la adaptación a las crisis y cambios. Los individuos y las instituciones juegan diferentes roles en los procesos de co-gestión y gobernanza, lo que se refleja en la capacidad de toma de decisiones, de liderazgo y cooperación.Conclusiones: Las estructuras de las redes sociales están asociadas a la capacidad adaptativa de los sistemas socio ecológicos. El enfoque adaptativo ha posibilitado a grupos sociales e instituciones mejorar la resiliencia en diferentes sistemas de gestión. La existencia de estructuras policéntricas, con nodos bien conectados indica la heterogeneidad necesaria a la experimentación e innovación, que se puede garantizar con la coordinación adecuada de las redes. El tema de los biocombustibles reanudó su importancia en los últimos años debido a los altos precios del petróleo y al proceso de calentamiento global. El objetivo es mostrar cómo ocurrió ese proceso de desarrollo y uso, y enfatizar sus virtudes y defectos. La metodología fue apoyadapor el uso de datos estadísticos, la lectura de documentos oficiales (leyes y tratados  internacionales) y la revisión de laliteratura. Se concluye que la producción de etanol en Brasil causó grandes transformaciones socioespaciales en el pasado y que aún presenta un potencial de cambio bastante fuerte.
