Desta maneira o objetivo deste trabalho foi conhecer a realidade desses sujeitos frente a atuação da ATER no projeto de Assentamento (PA) Mãe Maria no município de São Félix do Araguaia – MT. Foi realizado uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa utilizando a técnica da entrevista, por meio da aplicação de um questionário semiestruturado com perguntas dissertativas e objetivas, abrangendo cerca de 30% dos assentados. No trabalho foram abordados assuntos ligados às questões socioeconômicas e logo após o que diz respeito a percepção e dificuldades com relação a política de ATER pelos agricultores do PA. Após a coleta dos dados fez-se a transcrição para uma planilha do Excel e realizado as análises pertinentes. Dos entrevistados, cerca de 62% afirmaram nunca ter recebido assistência técnica e 36% relataram não ter conhecimento desses programas. Dos que receberam algum tipo de serviços de ATER, 71% argumentaram ter obtido resultado eficaz em mais de 90% das atividades realizadas. Deste modo, foi possível observar que há uma carência dos serviços da ATER para os assentados do PA Mãe Maria, implicando diretamente nos resultados obtidos nas propriedades. Los reactores bioquímicos pasivos son una tecnología sostenible fácil de instalar que utiliza desechos agroindustriales de la región y puede operar en áreas remotas con poco mantenimiento. Además, son una tecnología limpia que involucra bioprocesos, reacciones químicas y precipitación de metales minimizando el impacto de los vertimientos ácidos sobre suelos y cuerpos de aguas. Los reactores bioquímicos pasivos son columnas empacadas con una “mezcla reactiva” conformada por materiales orgánicos, inorgánicos y un inoculo microbiano. En esta mezcla se remedia el DAM por medio de procesos fisicoquímicos como la adsorción, precipitación, coprecipitación de los metales y de la reducción del sulfato a sulfuro, mientras se incrementa el pH y la alcalinidad. Con el fin de brindar información reciente, así como las necesidades de investigación en el tema este documento presenta una revisión de literatura sobre la generación química y biológica de los DAM, así como su remedición utilizando reactores bioquímicos pasivos. The Tropical Depression 19-E affected the states of Sinaloa, Sonora and Baja California Sur in September 2018. The water temperature increased two degrees generating a storm that developed rapidly and prevented the issuance of early warnings. To determine the social and material damages, an ethnographic research was carried out from the hours after the impact of the storm in the city of Culiacán, and it continued for several months. The results show how governmental and social actors work with unexpected or announced cyclones, where disaster and post-disaster accentuated people's vulnerability due to the sum of old risks with the new ones. Este artículo tiene como objetivo conocer el posicionamiento del Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Nueva Zelanda ante esta decisión, en el contexto de los efectos del calentamiento global en la geopolítica antártica, y las discusiones en torno del establecimiento de nuevas AMP en el ámbito de la CCRVMA. Para tal efecto, se utilizó una metodología cualitativa a través de una perspectiva inductiva. Se analizaron documentos y materiales publicados por la CCRVMA y esto tres Estados. Se consideraron también entrevistas semi-estructuradas realizadas a actores claves. El trabajo concluye que el comportamiento estos tres Estados en la CCRVMA, cuando se designó una AMP en el Mar de Ross, requiere ser comprendido en el contexto del efecto político del calentamiento global sobre la geopolítica antártica y los debates para designar nuevas AMP. También es necesario tener en cuenta en esta situación los intereses estratégicos de estos Estados, sus percepciones sobre el debate acerca de las AMP, el componente geopolítico de sus estrategias de conservación marina de la biodiversidad y, por último, los efectos en política internacional sobre los compromisos ambientales existentes.
