Quantitative analysis was then carried out to find out the ten most common phrases of 7,381 comments on the sample videos to know the public response on restorative messages. The results of the narrative analysis showed that the stories told by three cured Covid-19 patients have meet the restorative narrative criteria and produced positive emotional responses from the public, so that the restorative narrative could be useful for public health campaigns. This study aimed to investigate the associations of nonadherence to treatment with patient-reported outcomes of psoriasis during the COVID-2019 epidemic.Methods: A cross-sectional study among Chinese patients with psoriasis was conducted through a web-based questionnaire survey during 25 Feb 2020 and 6 Mar 2020. Demographic and clinical data, nonadherence to treatment, and patient-reported outcomes were collected. The outcomes included deterioration of the disease condition, perceived stress, and symptoms of anxiety and depression. Logistic regression was used to investigate the associations.Results: A total of 926 questionnaires were collected. A total of 634 (68.5%) reported nonadherence to treatment, and worse adherence was found among patients receiving systemic treatment (adjusted odds ratio [AOR]: 2.67; 95% CI: 1.40&ndash; 5.10) and topical treatment (AOR: 4.51; 95% CI: 2.66&ndash; 7.65) compared to biological treatment. Nonadherence to treatment (less than two weeks and more than two weeks) was&nbsp;significantly associated with deterioration of psoriasis (aOR: 2.83 to 5.25), perceived stress (AOR: 1.86 to 1.57), and symptoms of anxiety (AOR: 1.42 to 1.57) and depression (AORs: 1.78). By administering a survey to 125 students of the English Language Education Program in a State Islamic University in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, using 26 items of a questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, this study unravelled students’ responses in terms of three constructs including Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Instructor Characteristics (PIC). The findings suggested that in terms of PU, even though the data mostly demonstrated neutral responses for most of the questionnaire items, the students tended to perceive online learning as to provide flexible time for their learning and foster their autonomy/independence and confidence. However, the students tended to perceive online learning as less facilitating for their understanding of subjects. In terms of PEOU, the responses reflected the students’ readiness to employ online learning as the data suggested that they possessed both the technology and the knowledge to use it. However, they tended to encounter problems when operating the technology, especially concerning the internet connection. On the other hand, these students perceived instructor characteristics as mostly positive. Therefore, online learning seemed to have not been designed to engage all students, yet seemed to be an inevitable option during the outbreak as the report from the interviews demonstrated that F2F classes were still preferred over online learning. Finally, these findings imply the need for redesigning online learning to better engage students in virtual classes. Adrecizumab is a first-in-class humanized monoclonal anti-Adrenomedullin (anti-ADM) antibody, targeting the sepsis- and inflammation-based vascular and capillary leakage. Within a “treatment on a named-patient basis” approach, Adrecizumab was administered to eight extreme-critically ill COVID-19 patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). The patients received a single dose of Adrecizumab, which was administered between 1 and 3 days after the initiation of mechanical ventilation. The SOFA (median 12.5) and SAPS-II (median 39) scores clearly documented the population at highest risk. Moreover, six of the patients suffered from acute renal failure, of whom five needed renal replacement therapy. The length of follow-up ranged between 13 and 27 days. Following the Adrecizumab administration, one patient in the low-dose group died at day 4 due to fulminant pulmonary embolism, while four were in stable condition, and three were discharged from the intensive care unit (ICU). Within 12 days, the SOFA score, as well as the disease severity score (range 0–16, mirroring critical resources in the ICU, with higher scores indicating more severe illness), decreased in five out of the seven surviving patients (in all high-dose patients). The PaO2/FiO2 increased within 12 days, while the inflammatory parameters C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, and interleukin-6 decreased. Importantly, the mortality was lower than expected and calculated by the SOFA score. In conclusion, in this preliminary uncontrolled case series of eight shock patients with life-threatening COVID-19 and ARDS, the administration of Adrecizumab was followed by a favorable outcome. Although the non-controlled design and the small sample size preclude any definitive statement about the potential efficacy of Adrecizumab in critically ill COVID-19 patients, the results of this case series are encouraging. The spectrum of interstitiopathies is broad and includes idiopathic diseases and secondary forms. In April 2020, a 36-year-old man admitted to our department for arthralgias, fever, asthenia, cough, and dyspnea. In January 2020 fever, cough, arthralgias and asthenia appeared. In April, his general condition worsened with development of macrohematuria, malaise, and intense asthenia. On admission, the patient presented pale, asthenic and symptomatic for dyspnea and arthralgias. There was objective joint pain in the small joints of the hands, elbow, and knees with morning stiffness and decreased strength. CT of the chest documented ground-glass opacities in both lung fields. He performed 2 swabs for SARS-CoV2, which were negative. On hematochemical examination: IgM 332 mg/dL and ferritin 700.2 ng/ml. At venous blood smear peripheral venous blood, agglutination of erythrocytes. The serology (IgM) for M. Pneumoniae was positive with agglutinins in the serum; Doxaciclina was started. There was a progressive normalization of hemoglobin levels and cold agglutinins were gradually reduced and were no longer detected at 15 days after the start of treatment. At one month after discharge, pulmonary function had fully recovered and the picture of hemolytic anemia was resolved. As is shown, the legal framework is fairly permissive with regard to EU Member States, but also the EU as an international actor. Taking into account economics- and policy-based views on export restrictions in the context of pandemics, one may wonder whether one should not rethink the existing legal and institutional framework in order to strengthen international solidarity in such situations.
