Objetivou-se com este trabalho realizar um levantamento fitossociológico da comunidade infestante em três cafezais (variedades Mundo Novo, Bourbon Vermelho e Obatã) desenvolvidos em sistema orgânico, no município de Garça (SP). Nas três áreas estudadas foram arremessados ao acaso cem quadrados metálicos com área vazada de 0,25 m², nas entrelinhas da cultura. As espécies contidas no interior dos quadros foram identificadas segundo a espécie botânica, nome popular e família. A partir dos resultados, determinaram-se os parâmetros fitossociológicos: frequência, densidade, abundância, frequência relativa, densidade relativa, abundância relativa, índice de valor de importância e similaridade florísticas pelos métodos de Simple Matching de Sneath & Sokal e similaridade de Sorensen. As famílias que mais se destacaram, com maior número de espécies nas três áreas foram Poaceae e Asteraceae. Houve alta similaridade em todos os contrastes testados, já que pelo menos metade das espécies identificadas foi comum às duas áreas contrastadas.Adjust of one coffee crop to organic system causes significative changes in weed management system, but information about the weed community in areas cultivated with organic coffee crop are scarce in Brazil. This work aimed to perform a phytosociological survey of weed community in three coffee crop areas (Mundo Novo, Bourbon Vermelho and Obatã genotypes) conducted in organic system, in Garça County, São Paulo State. In the three analyzed areas, a hundred of metallic drained squares were randomized hurled with useful area of 0.25 m² between crop lines. Plants contained in the interior of squares were identified according to botanic species, common name and its family. Phytosociological parameters were determined: frequency, density, abundance, relative frequency, relative density, relative abundance, index of importance value, and floristic similarity by Simple Matching of Sneath & Sokal and similarity by Sorensen method. Outstanding families, with major species number in the three studied areas were Poaceae and Asteraceae. There was high similarity in all studied contrasts, since at least a half of identified species was common to the two contrasted areas. El empleo de métodos científicos tales como: análisis de documentos, análisis-síntesis inducción–deducción e histórico–lógico, permitieron documentar el papel que ha desempeñado el Centro Universitario Municipal (CUM) Jesús Menéndez en el fortalecimiento del enfoque de CdV en la producción agropecuaria del territorio. Ello permitió identificar al menos cinco procesos agro-productivos a escala municipal que han sido beneficiados con este acompañamiento lográndose sistematizar además varios beneficios en lo económico, productivo, ambiental y social que se deriva de ello a escala local. Abstract The analysis and development of value chains (CdV) can provide improvements in the living conditions of the rural population and contribute to the food security of a region. In this sense key elements for this are: the knowledge of a subsector that emerges with potentiality, the greater among some actors and the dynamics that’s results from it. The use of scientific methods such as: document analysis, induction-deduction and historical-logical analysis-synthesis, allowed to document the role played by the Municipal University Center (MUC) Jesús Menéndez in the strengthening of the CV approach in agricultural production of the territory. This allowed the identification of at least five agro-productive processes at the municipal level that have benefited from this accompaniment, and it has been possible to systematize several economic, productive, environmental and social benefits derived from this at the local level. Beltrán Description An account of the resource Numerous contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) have been found in different water bodies. Directive 2013/39/EU and Decision 2018/840/EU are consequently being implemented in the field of water policies. Twelve CECs (e.g., isoproturon, ciprofloxacin, and clarithromycin are among those listed) were detected in a municipal wastewater secondary effluent by means of solid phase extraction and ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry (SPE-UHPLC-MS/MS). Different advanced oxidation processes (AOPs), based on the combination of ozone, UVA-LED and powdered TiO2, were investigated for their removal in a semi-batch operation. In addition, TiO2-coated glass rings (P25R) were characterized with different techniques (SEM, WDXRF) and used for continuous mode operation in a packed bed reactor (PBR). Among the AOPs studied, ozone-based processes were found to be more efficient than heterogeneous photocatalysis. A kinetic study was performed showing that direct ozonation is the main oxidation pathway for CEC removal. Ozone was successfully decomposed in combination with UVA-LED and P25R, resulting in an apparent rate constant of 3.2 × 10−2 s−1 higher than in the O3/LED system (1.0 × 10−3 s−1) or with ozone alone (8.6 × 10−5 s−1). Hydroxyl radical reaction could prevail over direct ozone reaction for the most refractory compounds (e.g., isoproturon). Contribuir al conocimiento de la composición poblacional y etología del oso perezoso (Bradypus variegatus) en la reserva natural viento solar, un fragmento de bosque seco tropical (bs-T) del municipio de Moñitos, departamento de Córdoba. Materiales y métodos. Durante octubre 2004 a mayo 2005, se realizaron conteos directos con observación visual en el sendero principal de la reserva, haciendo transectos de un kilómetro de largo x 100 m de ancho. Se registró el número de animales observados, hábitos alimenticios, estructura poblacional según sexo mediante marcado natural. Se realizaron observaciones sobre comportamiento animal y actividades de desplazamiento diurno, con anotaciones sobre su ecología, y aspectos importantes para la conservación. Resultados. En enero del 2005 se registraron 70 individuos, con una composición de 31% machos, 53% hembras y 16% crías. Durante la época seca del año, (enero-abril) la mayoría de la vegetación arbórea es caducifolia, disminuyendo en forma importante el follaje de los árboles, lo cual facilitó el conteo de la población. La vegetación de bs-T está dominada por Pseudobombax septenatum, cuyo follaje es muy apetecido por el oso perezoso. Conclusiones. Los datos indican que la composición poblacional del oso perezoso en la reserva natural viento solar, está conformada principalmente por individuos adultos, encontrándose una baja proporción de crías; lo que podría estar reflejando problemas de crecimiento poblacional por efecto de baja disponibilidad y baja calidad del hábitat. En primer lugar, se presenta un panorama sobre las contradicciones del desarrollo neoextractivista en América Latina como expresión de la crisis multidimensional y la necesidad de búsqueda de alternativas. Enseguida, se examina la situación actual del neoextractivismo en Colombia, a partir del reconocimiento de los conflictos socioambientales y las luchas sociales por la justicia ambiental. Por último, se analiza el caso del municipio de Marmato (Colombia), lugar emblemático por la constante defensa del territorio como un patrimonio y un derecho. Neo-extractivism in Latin America and Colombia: a political ecology reflexion In this article an approach is performed to the problematic of neoextractivism in the 21st century at a regional, national and local level from the political ecology view.
