Hasil penelitian memberikan kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) ada pengaruh yang positif dari kreativitas mahasiswa pada pemahaman materi abstrak mata kuliah Analisis Kompleks, 2) keaktivan mahasiswa berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan secara statistika pada pemahaman materi abstrak mata kuliah Analisis Kompleks, dan 3) interaksi kreativitas dan keaktivan mahasiswa diketahui berpengaruh positif pada pemahaman mahasiswa materi abstrak mata kuliah Analisis Kompleks. Maka, untuk memahami materi abstrak yang disampaikan menggunakan e-learning membutuhkan kreativitas dan keaktivan mahasiswa.</text>

                <text>COVID-19 vaccines are approved, vaccination campaigns are launched, and worldwide return to normality seems within close reach. Nevertheless, concerns about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines arose, due to their fast emergency approval. In fact, the problem of antibody-dependent enhancement was raised in the context of COVID-19 vaccines. We introduce a complex extension of the model underlying the pandemic preparedness tool CovidSim 1.1 (http://covidsim.eu/) to optimize vaccination strategies with regard to the onset of campaigns, vaccination coverage, vaccination schedules, vaccination rates, and efficiency of vaccines. Vaccines are not assumed to immunize perfectly. Some individuals fail to immunize, some reach only partial immunity, and-importantly-some develop antibody-dependent enhancement, which increases the likelihood of developing symptomatic and severe episodes (associated with higher case fatality) upon infection. Only a fraction of the population will be vaccinated, reflecting vaccination hesitancy or contraindications. The model is intended to facilitate decision making by exploring ranges of parameters rather than to be fitted by empirical data. We parameterized the model to reflect the situation in Germany and predict increasing incidence (and prevalence) in early 2021 followed by a decline by summer. Assuming contact reductions (curfews, social distancing, etc.) to be lifted in summer, disease incidence will peak again. Fast vaccine deployment contributes to reduce disease incidence in the first quarter of 2021, and delay the epidemic outbreak after the summer season. Higher vaccination coverage results in a delayed and reduced epidemic peak. A coverage of 75%-80% is necessary to prevent an epidemic peak without further drastic contact reductions. With the vaccine becoming available, compliance with contact reductions is likely to fade. To prevent further economic damage from COVID-19, high levels of immunization need to be reached before next year's flu season, and vaccination strategies and disease management need to be flexibly adjusted. The predictive model can serve as a refined decision support tool for COVID-19 management.</text>

                <text>Rapid and specific antibody testing is crucial for improved understanding, control, and treatment of COVID-19 pathogenesis. Herein, we describe and apply a rapid, sensitive, and accurate virus neutralization assay for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. The assay is based on an HIV-1 lentiviral vector that contains a secreted intron Gaussia luciferase (Gluc) or secreted nano-luciferase reporter cassette, pseudotyped with the SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) glycoprotein, and is validated with a plaque-reduction assay using an authentic, infectious SARS-CoV-2 strain. The assay was used to evaluate SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in serum from individuals with a broad range of COVID-19 symptoms; patients included those in the intensive care unit (ICU), health care workers (HCWs), and convalescent plasma donors. The highest neutralizing antibody titers were observed among ICU patients, followed by general hospitalized patients, HCWs, and convalescent plasma donors. Our study highlights a wide phenotypic variation in human antibody responses against SARS-CoV-2 and demonstrates the efficacy of a potentially novel lentivirus pseudotype assay for high-throughput serological surveys of neutralizing antibody titers in large cohorts.</text>

                <text>We remain largely without effective prophylactic/therapeutic interventions for COVID-19. Although many human COVID-19 clinical trials are ongoing, there remains a deficiency of supportive preclinical drug efficacy studies to help guide decisions. Here we assessed the prophylactic/therapeutic efficacy of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), a drug of interest for COVID-19 management, in 2 animal disease models. The standard human malaria HCQ prophylaxis (6.5 mg/kg given weekly) and treatment (6.5 mg/kg given daily) did not significantly benefit clinical outcome, nor did it reduce SARS-CoV-2 replication/shedding in the upper and lower respiratory tract in the rhesus macaque disease model. Similarly, when used for prophylaxis or treatment, neither the standard human malaria dose (6.5 mg/kg) nor a high dose (50 mg/kg) of HCQ had any beneficial effect on clinical disease or SARS-CoV-2 kinetics (replication/shedding) in the Syrian hamster disease model. Results from these 2 preclinical animal models may prove helpful in guiding clinical use of HCQ for prophylaxis/treatment of COVID-19.</text>

                <text>The evidence for vertical transmission of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is not well established. Therefore, the objective of this review is to summarize emerging evidence on the vertical transmission of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2. We conducted a systematic search in PubMed, CINAHL, Web of Science, SCOPUS, and CENTRAL. Likewise, a search for preprint publications was conducted using MedRxiv and Research Square. Studies that addressed vertical transmission of SARS-CoV-2 (concept) among pregnant women infected by Covid-19 (population) in any setting (community, hospital, or home) in any country or context were considered for inclusion. Any types of studies or reports published between December 2019 and September 2020 addressing the effects of SARS-CoV-2 on pregnant women and their newborn babies were included. Studies were screened for eligibility against the inclusion criteria for the review by two reviewers. We identified 51 studies reporting 336 newborns screened for COVID-19. From the 336 newborns screened for COVID-19, only 15 (4.4%) were positive for throat swab RT-PCR. All neonates with positive throat swab RT-PCR were delivered by cesarean section. Among neonates with throat swab SARS-CoV-2 positive only five (33.3%) had concomitant placenta, amniotic fluid, and cord blood samples tested, of which only one amniotic fluid sample is positive for RT PCR. Five neonates had elevated IgG and IgM but without intrauterine tissue tested. Four neonates had chest imaging suggestive of COVID-19 pneumonia. Currently there is not enough evidence on vertical virologic transmission of COVID-19 infection during the third trimester of pregnancy. Additionally, there is no evidence to support cesarean delivery, abstaining from breast feeding nor mother and infant separation. Further research involving an adequate sample size of breast milk, placenta, amniotic fluid, and cord blood to ascertain the possibility of vertical transmission and breast milk transfer is needed.</text>

                <text>This study aims to investigate the existence of herding behaviour during COVID-19 crisis in the Egyptian stock market by using firm-level data and employing different testing methodologies. The study also investigates the existence of herding behaviour during COVID-19 crisis at the level of portfolios divided based on the size and the value factors. The study used the nonlinear model proposed by Chang, Cheng and Khorana (2000) and the state-space model developed by Hwang and Salmon (2004) to measure herding behaviour. The study found that the nonlinear model proposed by Chang et al. (2000) lead to results indicating evidence of herding during COVID-19 crisis. However, there was no evidence of herding behaviour during COVID-19 crisis when using the state-space model developed by Hwang and Salmon (2004). As for the level of portfolios, the study found evidence of herding during COVID-19 crisis only when using (Chang et al., 2000) methodology, at the level of the portfolio of stocks with low and high (B/M) ratio and the portfolio of big stocks only during COVID-19 crisis.</text>

                <text>Rogoff predicted that the U.S. dollar will depreciate and that exchange rate volatility will return. The coronavirus crisis has also roiled the world economy. This paper investigates the exposure of French and Korean firm stock returns to exchange rate appreciations and the pandemic. Both France and Korea are major exporters, but Korea has managed the crisis better than France. The results indicate that Korean firms have come through the pandemic better than French firms. The findings also indicate that the Korean economy is less exposed to appreciations than the French economy. This paper concludes with suggestions to increase firms’ resilience to these shocks.</text>

Los abordajes digitales acompañan nuestra renovada tarea docente al interior de un nuevo mundo, una configuración diferente de la realidad, y un planteo y protagonismo tecnológico también renovado. El paradigma educativo de la presencialidad se haya ahora sustituido por una virtualidad en ciernes. Si bien esto podría ser una primera aproximación al contexto educativo actual, un debate más profundo se torna necesario. La apuesta es poder asimilar la modificación radical en nuestras prácticas docentes y reformulaciones vitales, en un re-pensar para representar este ejercicio de dimensionar al otro y al acto pedagógico: una constitución en la “transicionalidad y devenir” del enseñar y aprender. En este contexto de crisis, y posicionadas desde aportes de pensadores destacados del psicoanálisis, indagaremos cuestiones sobre la creatividad puesta en juego en las transformaciones actuales. Siguiendo estas líneas de estudio, abordaremos también las coordenadas en las que se reconfiguran nuestras experiencias con la educación virtualizada, en tanto procesos subjetivos intervinientes en el ámbito pedagógico, y las concepciones inherentes a la subjetividad, desde el paradigma de la salud mental.</text>

Destaca-se o fato de que muitas pessoas não têm acesso a computador, nem à internet com velocidade e volume de acesso suficientes. Muitos professores não possuem conhecimento pedagógico adequado para uso dessas ferramentas nas suas práticas educativas. Mesmo assim, muitas experiências de uso de TIC na Educação têm ocorrido nesse cenário de pandemia na forma de ensino remoto emergencial. Planejamentos para um pós- pandemia já contemplam a Educação híbrida. Este ensaio objetiva discutir aspectos a serem considerados no contexto da Educação mediada por tecnologias, mesmo     em um cenário emergencial. É um convite para uma reflexão sobre as práticas pedagógicas e as possibilidades de mediação da aprendizagem com o uso das TIC.</text>

                <text>Extracellular vesicles (EVs) have emerged as potential mediators of intercellular communication. EVs are nano-sized, lipid membrane-bound vesicles that contains biological information in the form of proteins, metabolites and/or nucleic acids. EVs are key regulators of tissue repair mechanisms, such as in the context of lung injuries. Recent studies suggest that EVs have the ability to repair COVID19-associated acute lung damage. EVs hold great promise for therapeutic treatments, particularly in treating a potentially fatal autoimmune response and attenuate inflammation. They are known to boost lung immunity and are involved in the pathogenesis of various lung diseases, including viral infection. EV-based immunization technology has been proven to elicit robust immune responses in many models of infectious disease, including COVID-19. The field of EV research has tremendous potential in advancing our understanding about viral infection pathogenesis, and can be translated into anti-viral therapeutic strategies.</text>
