Sin embargo, teniendo en cuenta las preferencias de hábitat de esta especie y su fuerte asociación con los cuerpos de agua, este resultado debe tomarse con cautela, dado que el modelo solo tuvo en cuenta variables climáticas terrestres. Dadas las características de historia de vida de esta especie (presencia de determinación sexual dependiente de la temperatura, alta temperatura pivotal y un rango de transición de temperatura muy estrecho), y el efecto negativo de los cambios en los regímenes hidrológicos en la mortalidad embrionaria, la expansión del área potencial de P. lewyana en el futuro no significa que esta especie no vaya a verse afectada por el cambio climático global. Por este motivo, se pretende aportar información de cómo, en los últimos años, ante la incapacidad o la falta de voluntad de los estados para acordar soluciones, la sociedad civil se ha involucrado cada vez más en el debate climático, presentando soluciones innovadoras, siempre basadas en la defensa de la justicia climática y los derechos humanos, tanto de las generaciones presentes, como de las futuras. El caso de Urgenda, en los Países Bajos, y los casos judiciales iniciados por la organización Our Children Trust, en Estados Unidos, son solo algunos de los casos más representativos de estas demandas de la sociedad civil. El Acuerdo de París, adoptado el 12 de diciembre de 2015, a pesar de su escueta mención al concepto de justicia climática, fija un punto de no retorno en la situación de indefensión que durante dos décadas ha creado una geopolítica del abuso sobre la soberanía de los recursos naturales, dentro y fuera de los límites nacionales. Por ello, los movimientos para la justicia climática son de especial interés para aportar una perspectiva diferente de las negociaciones climáticas, basada, finalmente, en los derechos humanos, la dignidad y la igualdad. Se argumenta que, tras la mercantilización del mezcal, los productores artesanales vinculados a prácticas diversas y heterogéneas, que resultan más sustentables, son sistemática y legítimamente excluidos y despojados tanto de los agaves como del conocimiento para elaborar mezcales. Esto, con miras a favorecer la producción industrial ligada a la acumulación de capital. A través de un análisis histórico, con énfasis a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX e inicios del XXI, se definen los principales cambios en las condiciones y medios de producción del mezcal. Se examina la transformación de valor de uso a valor de cambio y la mutación de los agaves en mercancías ficticias, como resultado de la mercantilización del mezcal. Por último, se describen los esquemas políticos y legales que el Estado mexicano utiliza contemporáneamente para legitimar la exclusión y el despojo de los pequeños productores. Abstract This article analyzes the history of production, consume and commercialization of distillate agave manufactured in Mexico, through Political Ecology, from an eco-marxist approach. The main argument is that those artisans whose practices are diverse and heterogeneous, are systematically and legitimately excluded and stripped of the agaves and the associated knowledge to elaborate mescal, to favor industrial production linked to the accumulation of capital. Through historical analysis, with particular emphasis on the second half of the twentieth century to the present, the main changes in their conditions and means of production are defined. The transformation from use value to exchange value and the mutation of the agaves to fictitious commodities are examined. Finally, the article discusses the political and legal schemes used contemporarily by the Mexican State to legitimize exclusion and dispossession. ÁLAMO Description An account of the resource En Argentina existen escasas referencias de producciones agroecológicas extensivas en regiones semiáridas, por lo que muchas veces son consideradas inviables. El escaso apoyo institucional, los conflictos generados por intereses económicos y políticos y la falta de investigación de los organismos de Ciencia y Tecnología nacionales dificultan la continuidad y difusión de prácticas alternativas al sistema de producción predominante. Es por ello que este trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar una experiencia de transición hacia sistemas con enfoque agroecológico en el suroeste de la región pampeana argentina, sistematizar la información y documentar un antecedente bajo condiciones extensivas para esta área. Durante el año 2016 se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas a diversos actores sociales involucrados en la experiencia. La transición agroecológica presentó importantes diferencias con el sistema productivo actual, como el aumento de la ganadería y mayor complejidad de los sistemas productivos. Esta mayor complejidad se basa en la consociación de cultivos, inclusión de ganadería de ciclo completo, modificación de sistemas parcelarios, inclusión de apicultura, disminución de uso de antiparasitarios y mayor consideración de los ciclos naturales de nutrientes.
