Küresel salgınla mücadele sürecinde tüm ülkeler toplumu doğru yönde bilgilendirmek ve korumak amacıyla birçok girişimde bulundu. Bu girişimler arasında, insanların davranış şekillerini değiştirmeyi ve toplumsal sorunlara dikkat çekmeyi hedefleyen kamu spotu reklamları özellikle önem kazandı. Sosyal ve toplumsal sorunlar ile mücadele, farkındalık oluşturma, bilgilendirme gibi birçok noktada başarılı örnekler veren kamu spotu reklamları, Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde de işlenen temaları ile göz ardı edilemeyecek düzeyde gündem oluşturmayı başardı.  Bu bağlamda çalışmanın temel konusunu Covid-19 konulu kamu spotu reklamları oluşturmaktadır.  Kamu spotu reklamları incelenirken fenomenoloji yöntemi kullanılmış ve kamu spotları reklamlarının etkinliğinin analizi hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu; lisans ve üstü eğitim düzeyinde, 25-65 yaş arası, 8 erkek ve 8 kadın gönüllüden oluşmuştur.</text>

The prejudices that stood next to online learning were lifted. During Covid-19 lockdown online learning was salvation for tens of thousands of students who had the possibility to continue education when it seemed that the whole world around them seemed to have stopped. During preparation of this paper systematic approach has been used by studying pros and cons of online learning in 21st century and whether it provides an improvement in the overall education of students and teachers. Education is the main foundation and key to success of each individual. With the development of communication technologies this has been enabled for people living far away from big cities.                 <text>Since late Mar. 2020, many universities halted normal operations due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Although extension uses many different techniques to educate consumers, it has been slow to grasp the power of social media. Faced with a dilemma of using digital methods instead of in-person field days, short courses, and workshops, Twitter was a viable alternative, especially for broad audience engagement. Tweet threads were posted on Twitter every Monday morning from 6 Apr. to 8 June 2020. Each thread consisted of 10 tweets. A hashtag #YardFruits was used to start the thread and for later reference. For the first nine threads only one fruit species was discussed per thread. The final thread consisted of single tweets of several species. Engagement percentage did not differ over time but did differ among the crop species. Tweets that did not include a photo received less engagement (2.7%) than those that did include a photo (4.7%). My Twitter account saw a 6.5% increase in followers during the series. Grape (Vitis sp.), passion fruit (Passiflora sp.), fig (Ficus carica), and pear (Pyrus communis) threads had the least engagement and were different from the Other Fruits thread. All other threads were similar. Extension educators can grow their influence by using well-targeted, focused tweets and tweet threads, especially those that use hashtags and photos.</text>

The presented article isan attempt to once more emphasise the importance of integrating technologiesin teaching ESP at the level of tertiary education in Georgia for effectiveusage of authentic materials – TED talks, live stream, etc. – in the classroom,particularly while teaching ESP, and to prove its significance on the basis ofthe survey whose respondents were ESP specialists. A conclusion has beenmade that application of ICT in teaching/learning ESP is the most contemporaryapproach, which increases student motivation, engagement, autonomy,and language skills level. This happens due to the authentic nature of materials.The article recommends to increase the ICT use in ESP classes, to makeit more various by materials and methods of teaching.</text>

                <text>The COVID-19 pandemic is a complex problem in the life of Indonesian society today, including aspects of individual personality. The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the level of adolescent loneliness during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used quantitative method research with a descriptive approach. The sample were 300 adolescents that selected by convenience sampling technique. The results showed that the level of loneliness of adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic was in a quite high category with a proportion of 43%, 10% in high category, and 1,7% in very high category. It means the adolescent need to be more attention so that teenagers can lead a normal life in their daily lives.</text>

                <text>Background The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to health care services including interventional radiology (IR). Treating COVID-19 infected patients became a priority; furthermore, government policies of differing elective procedures and the public’s fear of contacting COVID-19 have impacted IR workload worldwide. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the workflow in six vascular IR centers located across India.  Methods The data were collected retrospectively from April 1 to June 30, 2020. All the six centers were staffed by the alumni of a single parent center located in India. Data was also collected from the same time period in 2019 for comparison.  Results A total of 893 patients were treated from April 1 to June 30, 2019, and 419 were treated during the same period in 2020 during the pandemic, a 53% case volume reduction (95% CI:28. 56–129.44; p &lt; 0.001). The month of April had the largest case volume reduction (66%, 95% CI: 13.57–50.43; p &lt; 0.001). Elective procedures showed an 85% reduction (95% CI: 9.62–91.71; p &lt; 0.001). Venous interventions showed the highest reduction of 76% (95% CI: 0.75–67.75; p &lt; 0.001). Neurological emergencies, dialysis-related interventions, and nonvascular procedures did not show a significant change. No patient tested positive for COVID-19 prior to the procedure; however, one patient who was treated emergently was found to be positive later.  Conclusion COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted IR practice across India. Workload reduction was more profound at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic with a gradual improvement over time.</text>

                <text>A whirlwind of developments have unfolded in the UK since the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has subsequently instigated an intensely animated debate among British Muslim religious leaders about the contentious and sensitive topic of mosque closure, producing a rich and sophisticated spectrum of responses. These responses emerged within the dramatic global background of an imminent closure of Islam’s most cherished mosque to international pilgrims, namely the sacred precinct in Mekkah. The stakes were, therefore, high for British Muslim religious leaders considering mosque closure, facing the stark dilemma of compromising the sacrosanct status of the mosque and congregational worship in Islam or putting the lives of British Muslims in their hundreds of thousands at risk. This paper seeks to analyze the role of religious authority within the British Muslim community through the lens of the responses of the community’s religious leaders to the COVID-19 closure of mosques. It builds upon a Special Issue published by this journal on leadership, authority and representation in British Muslim communities. The issue of COVID-19 mosque closure in the UK presented an excellent case study for this paper’s analysis, manifesting as it does the dynamic way in which religious authority in the British Muslim community continues to evolve. This paper thus seeks to use this case-study to further enrich the literature on this topic.</text>
