Objetivo: determinar la utilización, el consumo y el costo de los medicamentos antimicrobianos controlados en dos servicios hospitalarios. Material y Métodos: se realizó un estudio exploratorio, observacional, transversal, sobre el uso de los medicamentos antimicrobianos y su costo. El universo estuvo constituido por todos los pacientes que consumieron medicamentos antimicrobianos controlados y autorizados por la Comisión de Antibióticos acreditada para tales efectos, en las salas de Medicina Interna y Terapia Intensiva del Hospital Calixto García, en el período comprendido de junio a noviembre de 2010. Resultados: los medicamentos antimicrobianos más utilizados fueron las cefalosporinas, principalmente la cefuroxima con 4 514 bulbos en las salas de Medicina Interna y la ceftriaxona con 5 982 bulbos en el servicio de Terapia Intensiva. El gasto general por concepto de antimicrobianos consumidos fue elevado (432 914,00 MN), siendo el servicio de Terapia Intensiva el responsable del mayor gasto (312 528,80 MN). Conclusiones: las cefalosporinas constituyeron el grupo farmacológico más empleado en ambos servicios, además de que hubo un mayor consumo de aminoglucósidos y vancomicina en el Servicio de Terapia Intensiva, donde los gastos fueron mayores.Introduction: the irrational use of antimicrobials is a common health problem world around, having impact on both medical applications and high costs. A large number of patients receive antimicrobial therapy, for which is convenient the correct drug prescription, taking into account dynamics of the bacterial ecology, the peculiarities of each patient and the local and national costs of the medications. Objective: to characterize controlled antimicrobials according to consumeand costs at the Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Unit of theCalixto Garcia Hospital. Material and Methods: the present paper shows a descriptive, observational and retrospective study of Drug Use based on the analysis of consume and costs. The studied considered all patients that consumed controlled antimicrobials at the Internal Medicine and Intensive Care services of the Calixto Garcia Hospital during June to November of 2010 and whose use was authorized by the Antibiotic Commission accredited or such ends. Results: the most used antimicrobials were the cefalosporins amily with 4514 bulbs, mainly Cefuroxima, at the Internal Medicine service, while and Ceftriaxona with 5982 bulbs was the most used in the Intensive care service. The overall cost caused by consumption of antimicrobials was high (432914.00 pesos), mostly at the Intensive Care service (312528.80 pesos). This was related to the high consume of ciprofloxacine (39387.70 and 70656.30 pesos) in the Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Unit. Conclusions: the cephalosporins was the pharmacology group most used in both services, the consume of aminoglycoside and vancomycin was quarter in intensive care Unit, where the costs were higher. Se usó un diseño BCA con tres repeticiones. Se analizaron dos grupos de variables, edáficas 45 días después del trasplante y producción a la cosecha. El T2 logró la mayor reducción del pH de 7,3 a 7,0 y el mayor incremento de P disponible; obtuvo la mayor producción, 18,47% más que el testigo, sin afectar la cantidad de hojas de primera calidad. El T3 redujo el pH e incrementó el contenido de Mg en menor proporción que T2. Presentó la segunda mayor producción sin afectar la cantidad de hojas de primera calidad y mostró mayor rentabilidad económica, seguido por T2. En rendimiento los tratamientos T1 y T5 se comportaron mejor que el testigo, pero el cambio en el valor de la cosecha no justifica el incremento en el costo de la fertilización. Este é aqui entendido, em geral, como vida sem sentido e, em particular, como falta de um sentido último e transcendente para a vida. A falta de sentido estaria na raiz da falta de respeito e de amor à natureza. Pois, se a vida humana não tem sentido, como o teria a natureza? A “ecologia profunda”, enquanto se quer “biocêntrica” ou “ecocêntrica”, não é uma verdadeira alternativa, por manter-se ainda presa, como o antropocentrismo, a uma perspectiva fundamentalmente imanentista do mundo. A verdadeira saída se dá “por cima”: consiste em reconhecer a “criaturalidade” das coisas, enquanto dependentes do Criador e possuindo, por isso mesmo, um valor próprio, que o ser humano é chamado a respeitar e de que deve dar conta. ABSTRACT: This article treats the question of ecology in a not so common perspective: that of modern nihilism. This perspective is understood, in general, as life without meaning, and in particular, as a lack of an ultimate and transcendent meaning for life. The lack of meaning would be the root of the lack of respect and love for nature. Therefore, if human life does not have meaning, how would nature have meaning? The ecological crisis would be, therefore, an aspect of a larger and deeper crisis: the crisis of meaning. But where does the crisis of meaning come from? It comes from, in depth, a secularist vision of the world. Such a vision, radically anthropocentrist and dispensing with God, ends up delivering the world to the potent will of the human being, including the form of active or destructive nihilism. The “indepth ecology”, in terms of 'biocentric” or “ecocentric”, is not a true alternative, for remaining still imprisoned, like anthropocentrism, to a basically imanentist perspective of the world. The true exit is found “up above”: it consists of recognizing the “creatureness” of things, while being dependent on the Creator and possessing, therefore, its own value, that the human being is called to respect and that it must give account. Se han realizado trabajos que reportan la elaboración de papel a partir de fibras de seis especies de agaves: A. lechuguilla, A. Angustifolia, A. tequilana, A. americana, A. salmiana y A. mapisaga, utilizando diferentes métodos para la extracción de fibras. Sus resultados indican que A. salmiana y A. mapisaga fueron las especies que presentaron mejores características para la posible elaboración de papel. En este trabajo se buscó crear un nuevo valor agregado a las hojas residuos de agavaceas de la agroindustria de elaboración del pulque, a partir de A. salmiana B. Otto ex Salm. Con este propósito se obtuvo pulpa de celulosa por dos métodos: pulpeo alcalino y el método conocido como Organosolv. Se evaluaron las características y eficacias de los procesos bajo un estudio de optimización. Como resultado, se concluye que las condiciones óptimas y reproducibles para obtener pulpa de celulosa de Agave salmiana mediante pulpeo alcalino fueron: [NaOH] 12%; 24 horas; [Na2CO3] 2.5% y [Na2SO4] 0.2%. En contraste para el pulpeo ácido las condiciones óptimas fueron: H2O 60%; 6 horas; [CH3COOH] 80% y [HCl] 0.5%. Sobre la base del análisis de respuesta 'mayor rendimiento mejor' en el ANOVA, se encontró que para el pulpeo alcalino, el factor que tiene mayor incidencia en el proceso es el tiempo, y el factor que tiene menor incidencia es [Na2CO3]; por otro lado, para el pulpeo ácido el factor que tiene la mayor contribución es [CH3COOH] y el de menor incidencia es la velocidad de agitación. En los experimentos confirmatorios de pulpeo alcalino se obtuvo un rendimiento de 39.69% de pulpa de celulosa de Agave salmiana, mientras que para pulpeo Organosolv se obtuvo un rendimiento de 71.57%. A detailed description of the skulls is given, the lengths of which range between 25.4 cm. and 70.7 cm. 4. The 'record' in size is apparently shown by an old male, which, according to Humboldt was 22 feet 3 inches long (6.78 meters). As far as known the females do not grow larger than 4 to 4.50 meters. The 4 fetus were between 22.4 cm. and 23.7 cm. long. The food of intermedius consists mainly of fish: in the stomach specimens a great amount of small stones were found ranging from 440 gr. to 920 gr. The egg laying period takes place mainly in January and the juveniles hatch in March. The eggs are white; their average size is about 8 em. long and 5 cm. wide. Up to 70 eggs were found in a nest. March 3, 1957 a nest 43 cm. deep and 51 cm. wide at the base, was found in the Río Guaviare. It was situated on a, sand-bank, about 40 meters from the river. The first eggs were found in a depth of 27 cm. The temperature in the nest, measured before the eggs were taken out, was slightly higher than outside. The shell of the eggs was quite elastic while still in the nest, but became hard soon after being taken out. Of the 57 eggs found in the nest, 54 contained fetus, the remaining 3 were rotten. The fetus already moved; but still had a well developed vitelline sack. The female, a specimen a about 3 meters long, remained in the water, splashing furiously. Cr. intermedius undergoes an aestivation the dry season in the Llanos Orientales (Rivers Arauca, Meta, Vichada) but no information is available from the Guaviare area. The Orinoco Crocodile of the Guaviare area digs no subterranean caves as does Cr. acutus from the Magdalena region and other rivers of northern Colombia. Due to excessive hide-hunting Cr. intermedius was practically exterminated in large areas and became rather scarce even in remote regions. 1. Hay 25 a 27½ hileras transversales de los Ventralia; el número de escamas en una hilera está entre 14 y 18. La cresta caudal doble contiene entre 17 y 19 segmentos, y la sencilla un número igual. 5. La coloración varía entre gris claro, verde y carmelita claro. Existen diferencias entre jóvenes y adultos. �� 6. La distribución geográfica abarca los territorios entre el rio Arauca por el oriente y el río Duda por el occidente. En el Vaupés, Caquetá y Putumayo afluentes del Amazonas no existe C. intermedius (mapa). En el Orinoco (Venezuela) se extiende hasta la región de San Fernando de Atabapo únicamente, pero no entra al Amazonas por el Casiquiare y el Rio Negro por razones aún desconocidas. 7. Los estudios sobre la ecología abarcan: Habitat, abundancia, tamaño, alimentación, parásitos, reproducción y costumbres. Se presenta una descripción del nido, los huevos y el fetus. 8.
