Considered for methodological issues of this article, documentary research along with an analytical-descriptive analysis based on secondary data as laws and jurisprudence which were collected on governmental websites. The Federal Constitution of 1988, in an unprecedented manner, established the small farm, since exploited by the family, as well absolutely unseizable to debts generated as a result of their productive activity. The importance of family agriculture for the country has been verified and it has been shown that the judiciary in its bodies comes, as a rule, participating in the maintenance of the family farmer in the small rural property, without losing it due to its debts, made in view of its productive activity, applying not only the constitutional principles, but also the infra-constitutional legislation.</text>

<text>The Recent benthic foraminiferal families Bolivinidae, Buliminidae and Uvigerinidae from 34 core top samples were studied in order to analyze their geographic distribution and possible environmental controls in the Panama Basin. A cluster analysis defined five assemblages based on the percentage abundance of 33 species. The Bolivinidae and Buliminidae have a homogeneous distribution along the basin, in comparison to the Uvigerinidae, which has its largest proportion over the western flank of the Cocos Ridge and over the north-western flank of the Carnegie Ridge. A canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) over 26 species suggests that the Bolivinidae and Buliminidae are related to bottom temperature, in comparison to the Uvigerinidae, which has a more complex relation with depth, salinity and dissolved O2 content.</text>

<text>The municipalities of Vale do Ribeira have the lowest rates of human development in the state of São Paulo. The main productive activity of the territory, banana farming, has a significant effect on the indicator that evaluates the generation of income in these municipalities. In this context, the article aims to emphasize the understanding of the so-called 'conventional banana market', trying to demonstrate how as the performance of intermediary agents in this market imposes limits on the generation of income in family agriculture. For this, six managers of producer organizations and 38 banana producers from the municipalities of Miracatu and Sete Barras. The presence of local individual intermediates and large wholesale companies was identified. It was found that wholesale companies have the economic power to influence and determine the prices paid to the producer, which in general is considered low because it significantly restricts the profitability of the farmers interviewed. In addition, it should be noted that local intermediaries established relationships with producers that created other disadvantages, notably default. It is concluded that the commercialization of bananas in the conventional market by means of intermediates inhibits possibilities of economic development of these farmers and, consequently, of the whole territory of the Vale do Ribeira dependent on the commercialization of these fruits.</text>
