                <text>En el presente trabajo se muestran los resultados obtenidos de la evaluación del crecimiento, desarrollo y viabilidad de una cepa bacteriana nativa Azotobacter A15M2G con potencial biofertilizante, sobre un medio de cultivo preparado con residuos sólidos vegetales procedentes del mercado: Brassica Oleracea (repollo), Lactusa sativa (lechuga) y Allium fistulosum (cebollín). El crecimiento de la bacteria en el medio de residuo vegetal a diferentes concentraciones: 25, 50 y 75% p/v fue evaluado, encontrándose un mejor crecimiento en la concentración del 25%; la caracterización química del medio de cultivo al 25% p/v, después de ser esterilizado, mostró los siguientes valores: 0,035% de carbohidratos, 0,4044% de proteína, 0,03574% de cenizas, 99,3955% de humedad, 6,93 mg/l de azufre, 0,170 mg/l de fósforo, 0,2 mg/l de manganeso, 409,2 mg/l de potasio, 1,842 mg/l de hierro, 14 mg/l de sodio y 0,1 mg/l de zinc, 28,056 mg/l de calcio y 17,017 mg/l de magnesio. En el medio de cultivo al 25% también fue evaluada la capacidad fijadora de nitrógeno y productora de ácido indol acético (AIA) de la bacteria, obteniendo una concentración de 4,8725 mg/l y 13,5837 mg/l respectivamente. Posteriormente se realizó un ensayo de viabilidad por un periodo de 2 meses. Los resultados muestran que los residuos-sólidos vegetales generados en las plazas de mercado local pueden ser utilizados como medio de cultivo ofreciendo un aporte nutricional al microorganismo de interés agrícola minimizando la contaminación ambiental generada. Abstract: The present work, shows the results obtained from the assessment of growth, development and viability of a native bacterial strain with biofertilizer potential, Azotobacter A15MG, on culture medium from solid wastes vegetables: Brassica Oleracea (cabbage,), Lactusa sativa (lettuce) and Allium fistulosum (chives). The growth of the bacteria on culture medium from solid wastes vegetables at different concentrations: 25, 50 and 75% w /v was evaluated, being a better growth in the concentration of 25%. The chemical characterization of this culture medium after being sterilized showed the following values: 0.035% carbohydrates, protein 0.4044%, 0.03574% ash, 99.3955% moisture, 6.93 mg / l of sulfur, 0.170 mg / l of phosphorus , 0.2 mg / l of manganese, 409.2 mg / l of potassium, 1842 mg / l of iron, 14 mg / l of sodium and 0.1 mg / l of zinc, 28,056 mg / l of calcium and 17,017 mg / l of magnesium. In the culture medium to 25%, also there was evaluated the fixing capacity of nitrogen and producer of acid indol acetic (AIA) of the bacterium, obtaining a concentration of 4.8725 mg/l and 13.5837 mg/l respectively. Later a test of viability was realized by a period of 2 months. The results show that the solid residues vegetables generated in the squares of local market, can be used as a culture medium that offering a nutritional contribution to the microorganism of agricultural interest minimizing the environmental generated pollution.                 <text>La agricultura de precisión utiliza herramientas modernas capaces de facilitar la obtención y análisis de datos georreferenciados. La conductividad eléctrica aparente (CEa) del suelo, se obtiene con sensores remotos y está correlacionada con algunas propiedades del suelo (capacidad de almacenamiento de agua, contenido de materia orgánica, salinidad y drenaje, topografía, manejos previos y texturas entre otras). El exceso de sales puede ser perjudicial para las plantas mientras que altos contenidos de sodio intercambiable pueden provocar daños físicos y químicos en el suelo, afectando el crecimiento de los cultivos. Se seleccionaron 3 lotes con una superficie promedio de 80 ha, regados con pivote central, en el sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. En cada lote se midió la CEa georreferenciada con un sensor de medición directa. Con los datos obtenidos se confeccionaron mapas de CEa utilizando técnicas de interpolación espacial (Kriging). Los campos fueron divididos en zonas de igual rango de CEa, para tomar muestras de suelo en las que se midió humedad gravimétrica (&amp;#952;g), CE del extracto de saturación (CEe) y cationes solubles (Na+, Ca+2 y Mg+2). Se calculó la relación de adsorción de sodio (RAS). Los datos fueron analizados estadísticamente utilizando el procedimiento PROC MIXED de SAS. Se observó variabilidad espacial de la CEa y se detectó una asociación entre la CEa y el RAS. Existe una relación significativa entre la CEa, la CEe y el contenido de sodio del suelo, diferenciándose estadísticamente los contenidos de Na+ entre las diferentes zonas de CEa de cada lote. Los sensores de medición directa de CEa son herramientas eficaces para la estimación espacial del contenido de sodio del suelo.Precision agriculture utilizes modern tools in order to obtain and analyze georreferenced data. Direct measuring sensors of soil apparent electrical conductivity (ECa) are part of these modern tools and are widely used to quantify ECa spatial variability. This variable is correlated with other soil properties (water holding capacity, organic matter content, salinity, drainage, topography, tillage managing and soil texture). Plants are negatively affected by elevated salts amount and elevated exchangeable sodium content, which causes physical and chemical damage of soils, affecting crop's grown and production. In order to determinate sodium spatial content and distribution, three fields about 80 Has average were selected. All fields are under central pivot irrigation system and are located in the southeast of Buenos Aires province, Argentina. In these fields ECa was measured and georreferenced whit a direct measure sensor. Obtained data was used to create ECa maps in every field using spatial interpolation methods (Kriging). All fields were divided into four different zones, based on its ECa value, where soil samples were taken. Soil samples were laboratory processed in order to determinate gravimetric humidity (&amp;#952;g),, electrical conductivity of soil saturation paste extract (ECe) and soluble cations (Na+, Ca+2 and Mg+2), and sodium adsorption ratio (SAR) was calculated. Experimental data was statistically analyzed using SAS PROC MIXED procedure. We observed CEa spatial variability, and associations between ECa and SAR. Significantly relationships between ECa, ECe and soil sodium content were found. Sodium content was statistically differenced between different ECa zones in every field. The ECa direct measuring sensors are accurately tools to estimate soil sodium spatial content.</text>

                <text>The fruit of the West Indian gherkin is greatly appreciated in Brazilian cuisine, especially in the north and northeast of Brazil. However, it is still considered a secondary crop, and is cultivated using non-technical management. As it is a crop produced mainly by small farmers, any research should be directed towards its cultivation using inputs produced on the farm itself, such as bio-fertilisers. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect on the yield of two West Indian gherkin cultivars, of different doses of bio-fertiliser consisting of cattle manure and commercial products containing bacteria and enzymes that degrade organic molecules.A completely randomised design was used in a 2 x 4 factorial scheme with four replications. The factors included two cultivars (Do Norte and Liso Gibão) and four doses of bio-fertiliser (0, 8, 16 and 24 m3  ha-1) applied through fertigation. The experiment lasted for 100 days, with six collections being made, for which thefollowing variables were evaluated: number of fruits, fruit weight, production and yield. All the variables were affected by the interaction between the factors under study. The cultivars did not differ as to yield, however the De North cultivar gave the highest number of fruits, while the Liso Gibão cultivar produced fruit of a greater weight. From the results obtained, a dose of 14 m3 ha-1 is recommended for the Liso Gibão cultivar. For the DeNorte cultivar, further studies with higher doses of bio-fertiliser are recommended. = Os frutos de maxixeiro são de grande apreciação na culinária brasileira, principalmente nas regiões Norte e Nordeste do Brasil. No entanto, é considerada uma cultura secundária e seu cultivo é realizado sem adoção de manejo tecnificado. Devido o seu cultivo ser realizado, principalmente, por pequenos produtores, as pesquisas empregando insumos produzidos na própria propriedade, como o biofertilizante, na adubação do maxixe são relevantes. Nesse sentido, objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar o efeito de doses de biofertilizante na produtividade de duas cultivares de maxixe. Utilizou-se o delineamento inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 2 x 4, com quatro repetições. Os fatores consistiram de duas cultivares (Do Norte e Liso Gibão) e quatro doses de biofertilizante (0; 8; 16 e 24 m3 ha-1), aplicadas via fertirrigação. O experimento foi conduzido durante 100 dias, sendo realizadas seis colheitas, nas quais se avaliou as seguintes variáveis: número de frutos, massa de frutos, produção e produtividade. Todas as variáveis foram afetadas pela interação entre os fatores estudados. As cultivares estudadas não diferiram quanto à produção, no entanto, a cv. Do Norte apresentou maior número de frutos, enquanto a cv. Liso Gibão apresentou frutos mais pesados. A partir dos resultados obtidos, recomenda-se a dose de 14 m3 ha-1 para a cultivar Liso Gibão. Para a cultivar Do Norte, recomenda-se mais estudos com doses mais elevadas de biofertilizante.</text>

                <text>En el uso y manejo de biofertilizantes en la agricultura, uno de los principales problemas es el desconocimiento de las especies presentes en los agroecosistemas y en la rizosfera de los cultivos, para su posible utilización eficiente. Desde el punto de vista ecológico, es importante conocer los integrantes de la comunidad bacteriana que favorecen su aplicación como inoculantes y propician un efecto agrobiológico positivo en los cultivos agrícolas. Esta investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de evaluar la efectividad agrobiológica de Azospirillum sp, en el crecimiento, desarrollo y rendimiento en el cultivo del tomate. Para ello, se partió de seleccionar el género microbiano predominante en la rizosfera del cultivo y posteriormente se evaluó el efecto de su inoculación a partir de la respuesta del cultivo. Los resultados demostraron que los géneros Pseudomonas, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Bacillus y Streptomyces, forman parte de la comunidad microbiana de la rizosfera del tomate, en las condiciones estudiadas, y que Azospirillum es el género dominante. La inoculación artificial de esta rizobacteria causó un efecto positivo sobre el crecimiento de las plántulas, así como en el estado nutricional de las plantas, con un rendimiento agrícola superior a un 11 % con respecto a las plantas testigo. Se obtuvo un alto nivel poblacional en la rizosfera de las plantas inoculadas.&amp;#13; &amp;#13; Palabras clave: rizosfera, inoculante, crecimiento, rendimiento.One of the main problems regarding the efficient use and management of biofertilizers in agriculture lies in the unknown species present in agro-ecosystems and crop rhizospheres. From the ecological point of view, it is important to know the members of the bacterial population allowing them to be applied as inoculants and enable a positive agro-biological effect on agricultural crops. This investigation was aimed at evaluating the agro-biological effectiveness of Azospirillum sp. on tomato growth, development and yield. The predominating microbial genus in the crop rhizosphere was thus selected and the effect of inoculating it was then evaluated, judging by the crop's response. Results showed that Pseudomonas, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Bacillus and Streptomyces belonged to the microbial population of the tomato rhizosphere under the studied conditions, Azospirillum being the most prominent genus. Artificial inoculation of this rhizobacteria caused a positive effect on seedling growth as well as on plant nutritional stage, the agricultural yield being higher in 11% compared to control plants.                 <text>Objetivou-se com este estudo verificar a influência das diferentes doses de biofertilizantes gerados a partir dos dejetos de bovinos e suínos em fase de terminação sobre valor nutritivo do capim Piatã. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação em delineamento inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial com parcela subdividida no tempo. As parcelas foram compostas por oito tratamentos: dois tipos de biofertilizantes em quatro doses, já as subparcelas pelos quatro diferentes períodos de cortes. Os biofertilizantes foram aplicados em dose única, após o corte de uniformização, nas doses de 0, 100, 200 e 300 kg ha-1 de N. Não foi observada diferença significativa entre os tipos de biofertilizantes e na interação biofertilizante x dose, o que possibilita a recomendação do uso de ambos os biofertilizantes, sem que ocorra prejuízo na qualidade das plantas avaliadas. Os teores de fibra em detergente neutro, fibra em detergente ácido, celulose, hemicelulose e lignina apresentaram comportamento linear negativo em função das doses crescentes de nitrogênio. Já os teores proteína bruta e digestibilidade “in vitro” da matéria seca responderam linear e positivamente às doses de nitrogênio. Também foi observado efeito dos períodos de corte, uma vez que as plantas produzidas no verão apresentaram valor nutritivo superior às de outono.</text>

Para el desarrollo de un bioplaguicida a base de baculovirus, es necesario contar con una metodología para determinar el título viral en el producto en proceso y terminado. Para tal fin, en este trabajo se diseñó y optimizó una técnica de cuantificación viral (Betabaculovirus) mediante PCR cuantitativo (q-PCR). Se utilizó una sonda TaqMan diseñada sobre el gen de granulina, altamente conservado. Para la técnica de q-PCR se determinó la especificidad, sensibilidad y reproducibilidad, encontrando que puede detectar y cuantificar aislamientos del género Betabaculovirus provenientes de cinco especies diferentes de insectos (granulovirus de Tecia solanivora, Phthorimaea operculella, Erinnyis ello, Tuta absoluta y Spodoptera frugiperda) incluso de diferente origen geográfico, pero no detecta aislamientos del género Alphabaculovirus (nucleopoliedrovirus de Spodoptera ornithogalli, Diatraea saccharalis o S. frugiperda). El límite mínimo de detección de la técnica fue de 6,4 x 10-4 ng de ADN, lo que equivale a 1,25 x 105 copias del gen. Así mismo, la variación intra e inter ensayos fue mínima, demostrando la reproducibilidad de la misma. La aplicabilidad de la técnica fue evaluada para la detección de granulovirus en muestras de larva, suelo, y para determinar la concentración viral en un bioplaguicida formulado como concentrado emulsionable. En conclusión, la técnica de q-PCR desarrollada fue reproducible, sensible y específica, con aplicabilidad en estudios de persistencia viral en campo, control de infecciones en crías de insectos y control de calidad de bioplaguicidas a base de betabaculovirus.</text>

                <text>La agricultura urbana vive en la actualidad un auge verdaderamente significativo. Los huertos colonizan azoteas, terrazas y balcones en las viviendas particulares, gestionados por asociaciones vecinales o promovidos por la administración pública, se instalan en solares abandonados y en los intersticios entre edificios. Incluso aparecen súbitamente en los lugares más insospechados como producto de nuevas formas de bio-guerrilla, lúdica y no-violenta. Sin embargo, la significación que demuestra el fenómeno actualmente contrasta con su carácter histórico. Mientras que su función principal a lo largo de la historia ha sido la producción de alimentos, en la actualidad este estímulo ha sido relegado a un segundo plano para beneficio de su práctica como actividad lúdica, y de su vivencia como una experiencia de ocio que subyace a una amplia relación de significados. Sin embargo, convergen en este fenómeno determinadas dinámicas simbólicas relacionadas con la neorruralidad, el consumo y la búsqueda nostálgica de una autenticidad difuminada. Los estudios de ocio se manifiestan como un prisma especialmente interesante desde el que mostrar la complejidad que el fenómeno despliega y ofrecer algunas de las claves que puedan contribuir a su comprensión. </text>

                <text>A agricultura familiar situada em zonas periurbanas está demonstrando uma importante capacidade de adaptação nos atuais mercados agroalimentares, sustentada no esboço de estratégias que aportam valor agregado ao produto final, destacando a vinculação territorial, a qualidade e o saber-fazer. Por outro lado, atende à demanda de consumo em cidades próximas mediante uma relação de proximidade, o que transforma essa agricultura em exemplos de resiliência frente à pressão de outros tipos de cultivo de mercado. A partir do estudo de duas experiências agroalimentares de tipo familiar que ocorrem no Estado de Santa Catarina (Brasil), teve-se como objetivo analisar sua capacidade de adaptação aos entornos urbanos e, em consequência, seu papel no desenvolvimento territorial. Trata-se, a primeira, da elaboração do queijo Kochkäse, no Vale do Itajaí e, a segunda, da maricultura de ostras no litoral de Florianópolis. Metodologicamente, foram realizadas entrevistas com representantes dos produtores, demonstrando, como principais resultados, a importância da diferenciação produtiva e dos métodos de produção tradicionais para obter produtos específicos que se convertem em signos distintivos territoriais, contribuindo para a geração de alternativas de renda e a revalorização da identidade, com impactos no desenvolvimento territorial. Esse papel poderia ser reforçado mediante   a   criação   de   formas   de  reconhecimento  da identidade e especificidade, como o instituto da Indicação Geográfica, ou outras formas de associativismo que permitam compartilhar um projeto comum. Em contrapartida, evidencia-se como sendo a falta de substituição geracional o principal desafio a resolver nos próximos anos.</text>
