                <text>A cultura do feijão apresenta grande importância econômica e social no Brasil e estudos sobre a função dos bioestimulantes associados a diferentes adubações nessa cultura ainda são incipientes. Desse modo, objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar a influência do uso de bioestimulantes e suas interações com as adubações de NPK e micronutrientes no índice SPAD, índice de área foliar e a massa de matéria seca do feijoeiro da cultivar de feijão Pérola no município de Vitória da Conquista - BA. O trabalho foi desenvolvido na Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia e teve o delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados arranjados em três fatores 2x2x4 sendo dois níveis de NPK (ausência e presença), dois níveis de micronutrientes (ausência e presença) e os bioestimulantes (ausência, Stimulate, Booster e Biozyme TF). Houve reposta significativa entre a interação dos bioestimulantes e NPK para o índice de área foliar e massa seca da parte aérea, com destaque para os bioestimulantes Booster e Biozyme TF que na ausência do NPK aumentaram o índice de área foliar. O NPK incrementou a massa seca da haste e o índice SPAD do feijoeiro.</text>

Algunas investigaciones indican que los agentes biocontroladores podrían contribuir a reducir la actividad de S. subterranea a través de efectos sobre la viabilidad de sus quistosoros o mediante efectos estimulantes del crecimiento de la planta. En este estudio se emplearon bacterias aisladas del interior de raíz, rizósfera y superficie de tubérculos de un cultivo de papa (Solanum tuberosum variedad Diacol Capiro) y seleccionadas por su capacidad para producir indoles totales y quitinasas. En estudios paralelos se determinó su capacidad para promover la velocidad de germinación en brotes de tubérculos o para controlar  S. subterranea en raíces y promover el crecimiento vegetal de plántulas en invernadero. La mayoria de los aislamientos evaluados incrementraron la longitud de brotes de tubérculos en el laboratorio. En el invernadero, en suelo no estéril y en presencia del patógeno, se encontró que 2 de los 10 aislamientos seleccionados por su capacidad para producir indoles totales y quitinasas, presentaron promoción de crecimiento vegetal y posible biocontrol del patógeno. Estos resultados sugieren un gran potencial para la selección de microorganismos biocontroladores y desarrollo de bioproductos a partir de recursos microbiológicos locales. Palabras clave: sarna polvosa de la papa; indoles totales; quitinasas; control biológico.  Abstract: The powdery scab of potato is caused by the pathogen Spongospora subterranea which reduces the quality and yield of tubers and facilitates the establishment of other pathogens. This disease affects main potato production zones in the world, because there is not a completely effective and available control method against the disease, and due to the trading of infested seed tubers. Some research suggests that biological control agents could reduce the activity of S. subterranea through effects on the viability of their cystosoris or zoospores or by stimulating plant growth. In this research, bacteria previously isolated, from inside the roots, the rhizosphere and tuber peel of potato plants (Solanum tuberosum var. Diacol Capiro), were used, and then selected according to their capacity for producing total indoles and chitinases. Here was tested in parallel studies the capacity of nine bacterial isolates differing in total indole and chitinase production, for its capacity at increasing tuber sprout length and in promoting plant growth and biocontrol of S. subterranea. Inoculated in excised minitubers in laboratory most indole producing isolates tested resulted in increased tuber sprout length. In the greenhouse assay, in non-sterile soil and under a high pathogen pressure, two of the ten isolates selected because for their ability to produce total indoles and chitinases, showed plant growth promotion and possible biocontrol of the pathogen. These results suggest a great potential for the selection of biocontrol microorganisms and the development of new bioproducts from local microbial resources.                 <text>A agricultura familiar é um importante instrumento de combate a desigualdade social no campo. Além de promover a soberania alimentar, pois produz alimentos que vão diretamente à mesa do brasileiro, a agricultura familiar é promotora de justiça social uma vez que garante emprego e renda aos trabalhadores envolvidos na atividade. A reforma agrária, nesta perspectiva, surge com principal política pública para efetivação do segmento da agricultura familiar com atividade produtiva. É a reforma agrária que garante ao trabalhador despossuído acesso à terra, principal instrumento de trabalho do agricultor. Sendo assim, a reforma agrária deve ser vislumbrada como responsabilidade do Estado em todas as suas formas de realização. A crítica que se faz ao Estado brasileiro é o grande protecionismo ao agronegócio, e o descaso aos pequenos produtores rurais.  Neste sentido, nos utilizaremos da Teoria de Estado para debater a agricultura familiar e a reforma agrária. Sendo que nosso objetivo principal é demonstrar que a reforma agrária e agricultura familiar devem ser protagonistas na ação do Estado com a finalidade de contribuir na construção da igualdade social no campo, desconcentrando renda e a terra. Para isso, utilizaremos referencial teórico de teóricos do Estado, fazendo ligação a pesquisadores contemporâneos, estabelecendo debate que contribuam para o entendimento da questão agrária e o lugar do Estado neste processo.</text>

                <text>The threat imposed by the bacterial pathogen Xylella fastidiosa to crops of utter importance to European agriculture such as olive, stone fruit and grapevine calls for immediate research against the meadow spittlebug, Philaenus spumarius (L.), the main European vector. Management tools should consider reducing juveniles of vector populations growing on weeds or cover crops during spring as nymphs have limited movement and do not contribute to disease spread. We examined a wide range of insecticides with different modes of action against P. spumarius nymphs in laboratory and semi-field glasshouse conditions. Pyrethroids (delthamethrin and &amp;#955;-cyhalothrin) and natural pyrethrin (Pirecris&amp;#174;) + piperonyl butoxide (PBO) efficacy surpassed 86% after 24 h of exposure, without significant differences in the PBO amount tested. The inclusion of PBO caused a 3-fold increase in the mortality of P. spumarius nymphs compared to pyrethrin alone. Sulfoxaflor (Closer&amp;#174;) exhibited similar efficacy at 48 and 72 h but it was slow acting and mortality only reached 60% at 24 h. The LC90 was 34 ppm at 72 h. Pymetrozine, spirotetramat, azadirachtin and kaolin were not effective against nymphs (mortality &amp;lt;33%) although in azadirachtin-treated plants, mortality had a 3-fold increase from 24 to 72 h. Our results will help decision-making policy bodies to set up a sustainable integrated pest management of P. spumarius in areas where X. fastidiosa becomes a problem.</text>

                <text>The plants respond differently to the effects of salts in the distinct phases of their cycle, some grow and produce properly with economic viability in soils with high salinity, others, such as passion fruit development are compromised by the action of saline soil and irrigation water. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of increasing levels of salinity of irrigation water in soil treated with different frequencies of application of bovine biofertilizers on vegetative growth veal yellow passion fruit. The experiment was randomized block with treatments distributed in a 5 x 4 factorial design corresponding to levels of electrical conductivity of the irrigation water of 0.5; 1.5; 2.5; 3.5 and 4.5 dS m-1 and four frequencies of the application of bovine biofertilizer: absence of biofertilizer (SB); application of bovine biofertilizer one week before transplanting (1SAT); application every 90 days after transplanting (90DAT); and, applied one week before and every 90 days after transplanting (1SAT+90DAT). The electrical conductivity of irrigation water reducing the growth of passion fruit, delaying the timing of flowering of culture. The biofertilizer 1SAT and 1SAT+90DAT, the largest number of applications stimulated the growth of yellow passion fruit plants mitigating the effects of saline irrigation water. As plantas respondem diferenciadamente aos efeitos dos sais nas distintas fases do seu ciclo; algumas crescem adequadamente e produzem com viabilidade econômica em solos com salinidade elevada, outras, como o maracujazeiro amarelo, têm o desenvolvimento comprometido pela ação salina do solo e da água de irrigação. O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar os efeitos de níveis crescentes de salinidade da água de irrigação em solo tratado com diferentes frequências de aplicação de biofertilizante bovino sobre o crescimento vegetativo do maracujazeiro amarelo. O experimento foi instalado em blocos casualizados, com os tratamentos distribuídos em arranjo fatorial 5 x 4, correspondente aos valores de condutividade elétrica da água de irrigação: 0,5; 1,5; 2,5; 3,5 e 4,5 dS m-1 e quatro frequências de aplicação do insumo: sem biofertilizante (SB); uma semana antes do transplantio (1SAT); a cada 90 dias a partir do transplantio (90DAT); e, uma semana antes e a cada 90 dias apos o transplantio (1SAT+90DAT). O efeito da condutividade elétrica da água de irrigação reduziu o crescimento das plantas de maracujazeiro, atrasando o período de floração da cultura. O biofertilizante aplicado 1SAT e 1SAT+90DAT estimulou o crescimento das plantas de maracujazeiro amarelo atenuando os efeitos salinos da água de irrigação.</text>

                <text>A agricultura familiar situada em zonas periurbanas está demonstrando uma importante capacidade de adaptação nos atuais mercados agroalimentares, sustentada no esboço de estratégias que aportam valor agregado ao produto final, destacando a vinculação territorial, a qualidade e o saber-fazer. Por outro lado, atende à demanda de consumo em cidades próximas mediante uma relação de proximidade, o que transforma essa agricultura em exemplos de resiliência frente à pressão de outros tipos de cultivo de mercado. A partir do estudo de duas experiências agroalimentares de tipo familiar que ocorrem no Estado de Santa Catarina (Brasil), teve-se como objetivo analisar sua capacidade de adaptação aos entornos urbanos e, em consequência, seu papel no desenvolvimento territorial. Trata-se, a primeira, da elaboração do queijo Kochkäse, no Vale do Itajaí e, a segunda, da maricultura de ostras no litoral de Florianópolis. Metodologicamente, foram realizadas entrevistas com representantes dos produtores, demonstrando, como principais resultados, a importância da diferenciação produtiva e dos métodos de produção tradicionais para obter produtos específicos que se convertem em signos distintivos territoriais, contribuindo para a geração de alternativas de renda e a revalorização da identidade, com impactos no desenvolvimento territorial. Esse papel poderia ser reforçado mediante   a   criação   de   formas   de  reconhecimento  da identidade e especificidade, como o instituto da Indicação Geográfica, ou outras formas de associativismo que permitam compartilhar um projeto comum. Em contrapartida, evidencia-se como sendo a falta de substituição geracional o principal desafio a resolver nos próximos anos.</text>

                <text>La agricultura urbana vive en la actualidad un auge verdaderamente significativo. Los huertos colonizan azoteas, terrazas y balcones en las viviendas particulares, gestionados por asociaciones vecinales o promovidos por la administración pública, se instalan en solares abandonados y en los intersticios entre edificios. Incluso aparecen súbitamente en los lugares más insospechados como producto de nuevas formas de bio-guerrilla, lúdica y no-violenta. Sin embargo, la significación que demuestra el fenómeno actualmente contrasta con su carácter histórico. Mientras que su función principal a lo largo de la historia ha sido la producción de alimentos, en la actualidad este estímulo ha sido relegado a un segundo plano para beneficio de su práctica como actividad lúdica, y de su vivencia como una experiencia de ocio que subyace a una amplia relación de significados. Sin embargo, convergen en este fenómeno determinadas dinámicas simbólicas relacionadas con la neorruralidad, el consumo y la búsqueda nostálgica de una autenticidad difuminada. Los estudios de ocio se manifiestan como un prisma especialmente interesante desde el que mostrar la complejidad que el fenómeno despliega y ofrecer algunas de las claves que puedan contribuir a su comprensión. </text>

                <text>El uso de baculovirus como agentes de control biológico de insectos plaga, se ha convertido en una estrategia efectiva que se ha implementado gradualmente en diferentes sistemas productivos a nivel mundial. Para el desarrollo de un bioplaguicida a base de baculovirus, es necesario contar con una metodología para determinar el título viral en el producto en proceso y terminado. Para tal fin, en este trabajo se diseñó y optimizó una técnica de cuantificación viral (Betabaculovirus) mediante PCR cuantitativo (q-PCR). Se utilizó una sonda TaqMan diseñada sobre el gen de granulina, altamente conservado. Para la técnica de q-PCR se determinó la especificidad, sensibilidad y reproducibilidad, encontrando que puede detectar y cuantificar aislamientos del género Betabaculovirus provenientes de cinco especies diferentes de insectos (granulovirus de Tecia solanivora, Phthorimaea operculella, Erinnyis ello, Tuta absoluta y Spodoptera frugiperda) incluso de diferente origen geográfico, pero no detecta aislamientos del género Alphabaculovirus (nucleopoliedrovirus de Spodoptera ornithogalli, Diatraea saccharalis o S. frugiperda). El límite mínimo de detección de la técnica fue de 6,4 x 10-4 ng de ADN, lo que equivale a 1,25 x 105 copias del gen. Así mismo, la variación intra e inter ensayos fue mínima, demostrando la reproducibilidad de la misma. La aplicabilidad de la técnica fue evaluada para la detección de granulovirus en muestras de larva, suelo, y para determinar la concentración viral en un bioplaguicida formulado como concentrado emulsionable. En conclusión, la técnica de q-PCR desarrollada fue reproducible, sensible y específica, con aplicabilidad en estudios de persistencia viral en campo, control de infecciones en crías de insectos y control de calidad de bioplaguicidas a base de betabaculovirus.</text>

                <text>Objetivou-se com este estudo verificar a influência das diferentes doses de biofertilizantes gerados a partir dos dejetos de bovinos e suínos em fase de terminação sobre valor nutritivo do capim Piatã. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação em delineamento inteiramente casualizado em esquema fatorial com parcela subdividida no tempo. As parcelas foram compostas por oito tratamentos: dois tipos de biofertilizantes em quatro doses, já as subparcelas pelos quatro diferentes períodos de cortes. Os biofertilizantes foram aplicados em dose única, após o corte de uniformização, nas doses de 0, 100, 200 e 300 kg ha-1 de N. Não foi observada diferença significativa entre os tipos de biofertilizantes e na interação biofertilizante x dose, o que possibilita a recomendação do uso de ambos os biofertilizantes, sem que ocorra prejuízo na qualidade das plantas avaliadas. Os teores de fibra em detergente neutro, fibra em detergente ácido, celulose, hemicelulose e lignina apresentaram comportamento linear negativo em função das doses crescentes de nitrogênio. Já os teores proteína bruta e digestibilidade “in vitro” da matéria seca responderam linear e positivamente às doses de nitrogênio. Também foi observado efeito dos períodos de corte, uma vez que as plantas produzidas no verão apresentaram valor nutritivo superior às de outono.</text>

                <text>En el uso y manejo de biofertilizantes en la agricultura, uno de los principales problemas es el desconocimiento de las especies presentes en los agroecosistemas y en la rizosfera de los cultivos, para su posible utilización eficiente. Desde el punto de vista ecológico, es importante conocer los integrantes de la comunidad bacteriana que favorecen su aplicación como inoculantes y propician un efecto agrobiológico positivo en los cultivos agrícolas. Esta investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de evaluar la efectividad agrobiológica de Azospirillum sp, en el crecimiento, desarrollo y rendimiento en el cultivo del tomate. Para ello, se partió de seleccionar el género microbiano predominante en la rizosfera del cultivo y posteriormente se evaluó el efecto de su inoculación a partir de la respuesta del cultivo. Los resultados demostraron que los géneros Pseudomonas, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Bacillus y Streptomyces, forman parte de la comunidad microbiana de la rizosfera del tomate, en las condiciones estudiadas, y que Azospirillum es el género dominante. La inoculación artificial de esta rizobacteria causó un efecto positivo sobre el crecimiento de las plántulas, así como en el estado nutricional de las plantas, con un rendimiento agrícola superior a un 11 % con respecto a las plantas testigo. Se obtuvo un alto nivel poblacional en la rizosfera de las plantas inoculadas.&amp;#13; &amp;#13; Palabras clave: rizosfera, inoculante, crecimiento, rendimiento.One of the main problems regarding the efficient use and management of biofertilizers in agriculture lies in the unknown species present in agro-ecosystems and crop rhizospheres. From the ecological point of view, it is important to know the members of the bacterial population allowing them to be applied as inoculants and enable a positive agro-biological effect on agricultural crops. This investigation was aimed at evaluating the agro-biological effectiveness of Azospirillum sp. on tomato growth, development and yield. The predominating microbial genus in the crop rhizosphere was thus selected and the effect of inoculating it was then evaluated, judging by the crop's response. Results showed that Pseudomonas, Azospirillum, Azotobacter, Bacillus and Streptomyces belonged to the microbial population of the tomato rhizosphere under the studied conditions, Azospirillum being the most prominent genus. Artificial inoculation of this rhizobacteria caused a positive effect on seedling growth as well as on plant nutritional stage, the agricultural yield being higher in 11% compared to control plants.
