<text>Hyptis marrubioides Epl.

<text>The objective of the investigation was to evaluate the effect of four phosphorus sources plus filterpie with or without the biofertilizer Azotofos on the available phosphorus in the soil at different moments afterthe treatment. An experiment in factorial design 4(2)+1 was established, being the four phosphorus sources:rock phosphate, natural phosphate, triple phosphate and Cuban phosphoric rock; two sources of the organiccompound to base filter cake enriched with Azotofos microorganisms, only filter cake (without enrichment) anda control treatment (without filter pie, neither Azotofos), with three repetitions. The evaluations of the tenor ofavailable P (Bray-2) were carried out at the 30, 60, 90, 120 and 150 days after the installation of the experiment. The tenor of P (Bray-2) was influenced by the sources of P and the enrichment with biofertilizantes (factorial)increasing the tenor of available P in front of the control. The triple superphosphate promoted the higher tenorsin P in the soil at 60 and 90 days after its application, independently of the presence or not of the organiccompound enriched with P solubilizing microorganisms, although this effect didn’t stay stable at the time.</text>

The association is made upof thirty-three producers. The methodology using the case study, using data secondary from for the “FullBucket” project in the care of the cattle producers of milk in the period from January to March 2015. Aninteresting factor is that all of the interviewees have more than ten years of experience in the activity.Sanitary management has proved a negative point in the properties because the animals are not submittedto vaccination of some illnesses. Another interesting factor is that all of the producers do not use thecaatinga, that is, the native pasture in periods of drought. An important point is the lack of application ofbiotechnology related to animal reproduction.</text>

<text>The number of plants produced in horticultural substrates has increased over the last decade. These substrates are to have some physicochemical and phytosanitary characteristics that allow for optimal growth. Rhizoctonia solani JG Kühn is one of the root and hypocotyl diseases that frequently develops in seedbeds causing severe economic losses worldwide. The aim of this work was to evaluate the substrates and additives used in bean plantlets and the R. solani disease severity. The use of vermiculite or peat did not affect bean germination percentage, but peat promoted the development of the aerial part and vermiculite improved the growth of the root system. R. solani reduced bean germination percentage and bean growth in both peat and vermiculite. The presence of additives (bentonite and/or cornmeal) in the substrates (vermiculite or peat) reduced bean germination and development, favouring the severity of R. solani. However, the addition of cornmeal improves bean dry weight of the aerial part. So, whenever it is necessary to add additives to the substrates to improve the installation and development of a biocontrol agent, such as Trichoderma harzianum, the mix of peat and cornmeal would improve the development of both bean and biocontrol agent.</text>

<text>The main pretension in this work is to get to know and to recognize the role of thewoman farmer in the new productive processes that update the place of the rural in thecontemporary societies. The starting point is the organic farming system. One interests to identifythe strategies adopted by the family farming for increasing and supporting ways of living therural world. At the same time, one interests to identify the possibilities to make the rural space –in the context of the modern societies – visible. In this context, one researched the organicfarming in the urban area of Curitiba (RMC). One analyzed who are the farmers involved in theprocess, and inside of it, one tried to indicate what is the role of the woman farmer, from theproductive process to the necessary sociability to keep an “alive rural world” where the organicfarming appears as a strategy.</text>
