O cultivo de variedades locais de milho é frequente entre os agricultores (43%), apresentando diversidade fenotípica aparente (mais de 22 variedades locais) e cada uma das variedades apresenta características peculiares, tendo denominações próprias dos agricultores.</text>

                <text>Introducción: la producción de biogás es una alternativa sostenible para el aprovechamiento energético de los residuos orgánicos. Esta investigación presenta el estudio y modelación de la producción de biogás, generada por la codigestión de excreta de vaca y suero de leche.   Método: se realizaron experimentos de Digestión Anaerobia (DA), utilizando reactores herméticos, a temperatura ambiente monitoreados por 75 días consecutivos con base en el método de potencial bioquímico de metano (BMP). Se utilizaron los modelos logísticos: exponencial de crecimiento máximo Gompertz y Richards modificados para representar la cinética del fenómeno de producción de metano.   Resultados y discusiones: se determinó la tasa máxima de producción de metano, la duración de la fase lag, y el potencial de producción de metano acumulado. Se comparó la suma de cuadrados residual y el coeficiente de correlación para identificar el modelo matemático que mejor describe el fenómeno. Se encontró que existe un potencial para la generación de biogás y el aprovechamiento de los residuos experimentados en codigestión.   Conclusiones: la experimentación y modelación matemática permitió describir el fenómeno de la producción de biogás, con residuos de la industria láctea y de los sistemas pecuarios. Los resultados de la investigación presentan el potencial de incentivar la producción de energía, en el sector agropecuario regional, a partir de la tecnología DA aprovechando los residuos de la industria láctea bajo el concepto de economía circular.</text>

                <text>Introducción- El cultivo de fresa es el tercero en importancia en Pamplona, Norte de Santander. Las plantaciones reciben aplicaciones indiscriminadas de fertilizantes y plaguicidas químicos.Objetivo- Evaluar alternativas orgánicas para el control de las enfermedades foliares y del suelo, las babosas, y para la carencia de fósforo con vistas al logro de producciones más limpias de la fresa.Metodología- Se desarrollaron cuatro ensayos en campos de fresa, uno para el control de enfermedades de la parte aérea, el segundo para el control de enfermedades de la raíz, el tercero para la nutrición fosfórica y el cuarto para el control de babosas. En los tres primeros se evaluaron diferentes biopreparados producidos localmente a partir de microorganismos eficientes y en el último la tierra de diatomeas.Resultados- Caldo Rizósfera y microorganismos eficientes (ME) mostraron resultados similares al fungicida protectante Dithane contra mancha por Ramularia, la antracnosis en hojas, flores y frutos, la pudrición por Botrytis y la mancha bacteriana, mientras que Caldo Rizósfera, ME y otra variante de ME (M6) resultaron similares al fungicida Benomil y fosfito de potasio para el control de las enfermedades radiculares causadas por Fusaium spp y Phytophthora fragarie. Caldo Rizósfera y M6 disminuyeron en mayor medida la incidencia y severidad de la deficiencia de fósforo y favorecieron una mayor concentración de  este en las hojas. La tierra de diatomea demostró eficacia para el control de las babosas con dos aplicaciones, dosis entre 4 y 8 kg/ha y la adición de PEGAL CS pH 18,767 g/L como adherente.Conclusiones- Los resultados permiten incorporar nuevas alternativas para el control de enfermedades foliares y radiculares, así como las babosas y la nutrición fosfórica en el cultivo de la fresa en aras de obtener producciones más limpias en las condiciones de Pamplona, Norte de Santander.</text>

                <text>Esta pesquisa objetivou avaliar a influência da adubação orgânica e mineral na produção de laranjas. O estudo foi conduzido no município de Maravilha em um pomar de laranja cultivar Açúcar, com plantas de segundo ano enxertadas sobre limão-cravo. O delineamento foi em blocos casualizados com parcelas subdivididas. Nas parcelas foram avaliados os estercos de aves e de suínos e nas subparcelas, adubação mineral (zero, dose integral de N, dose integral de NPK e meia dose de NPK). Avaliou-se a produção e o número de frutos por planta de 2003 a 2006. Em 2006 foram realizadas análises foliares e de solo (zero a10cm). Houve respostas significativas em produção à aplicação de esterco e adubo mineral. Este efeito positivo deve ser creditado ao suprimento de N. A calagem e a adubação com P e K na implantação do pomar propiciaram boas produtividades nas quatro safras iniciais. Os teores de nutrientes nas folhas estavam altos em todos os tratamentos. Repetidas aplicações de esterco e de adubo mineral na superfície do solo propiciaram o acúmulo de nutrientes na camada de zero a 10cm e aumento do pH e MO com o uso de esterco de aves.</text>

Cinco genótipos de pessegueiro ‘BRS Rubimel’, ‘Zilli’, ‘SCS423 Bonora’, ‘Seleção Epagri 02-40’ e ‘BRS Fascínio’ e as nectarinas 'Seleção Epagri 31-43', ‘SCS418 Julema’ e ‘Seleção Embrapa Necta 528’ foram avaliados nos municípios de Caibi, Cordilheira Alta (exceto 'BRS Fascínio') e Descanso, até o quarto ano. A colheita de ‘Seleção Epagri 31-43’, ‘SCS418 Julema’ e ‘SCS423 Bonora’ foi mais precoce, com início no segundo decêndio de setembro, apesar da floração um pouco mais tardia em comparação com 'Zilli' e ‘BRS Rubimel’. Em termos de produtividade, os destaques foram ‘SCS423 Bonora’, 'Zilli', ‘SCS418 Julema’ e 'Seleção Epagri 02-40' em Cordilheira Alta, ‘SCS423 Bonora’ em Caibi e ‘SCS423 Bonora’, 'Zilli' e ‘SCS418 Julema’ em Descanso. A massa média de frutos foi maior nos tratamentos 'Seleção Epagri 02-40' e 'Zilli' em Cordilheira Alta; ‘BRS Fascínio’, 'Seleção Epagri 02-40' e 'Zilli' em Caibi; e ‘BRS Fascínio’ e 'Seleção Epagri 02-40 'em Descanso. O pessegueiro ‘SCS423 Bonora’ e a nectarineira ‘SCS418 Julema’, dentro do seu grupo, combinam características desejáveis de precocidade, tamanho dos frutos e produtividade.   </text>

                <text>O cultivar de laranjeira ‘Pêra’ (Citrus sinensis (L.) Osb.) é o mais importante no Brasil, devido à sua boa adaptação no sudeste do país e à qualidade do seu suco. Porém, como é suscetível à tristeza dos citros, doença que é mais severa em climas frios – como o subtropical, que ocorre no sul do Brasil –, seu cultivo nessa região é limitado. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a potencialidade da laranjeira ‘Pêra Bianchi’ para o cultivo em Santa Catarina. Foram avaliados dois pomares adultos de ‘Pêra Bianchi’ localizados no oeste do estado. Durante duas safras, avaliaram-se o tamanho das plantas, a produção de frutos e a qualidade dos frutos (tamanho e características do suco). A laranjeira ‘Pêra Bianchi’ apresentou produtividade satisfatória, média equivalente a 42 e 45 t ha-1, e qualidade de suco adequada aos padrões de mercado. Porém, grande parte dos frutos produzidos não apresentou tamanho adequado à comercialização como fruta de mesa. Foi observada considerável variabilidade entre plantas no mesmo pomar quanto à produtividade e tamanho dos frutos.  </text>

                <text>O presente trabalho teve por objetivo identificar e quantificar a área cultivada, número de famílias envolvidas na produção e a quantidade produzida de morangos no ano de 2015 no Estado de Santa Catarina. O trabalho incluiu o levantamento de informação e coleta de dados a campo, através da aplicação de questionários os quais foram respondidos por extensionistas da Epagri. As seis Mesorregiões do IBGE apresentaram produção comercial e para autoconsumo. No total, 725 famílias estiveram envolvidas com a produção comercial de morango. Aproximadamente 9918 t de morango foram produzidas em 225,3 ha. A cultura apresenta grande potencialidade quanto aos altos rendimentos encontrados em decorrência das respostas obtidas no questionário sendo a média estimada de 35,6 a 38,6 t ha-1 (IC=95%). Os resultados obtidos em 2015 foram contrastados com dados da safra de 2016-2017 em algumas regiões do estado, as quais mostram diminuição na área de cultivo do morangueiro, mas aumento nos rendimentos. Ações que contribuam à solução dos entraves levantados nesse estudo, poderão ser oportunidades para o sucesso da cultura a nível municipal e estadual.     </text>

                <text>Resumo – O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o crescimento e a produtividade de tangerineiras jovens de maturação precoce, sobre dois porta-enxertos, no Oeste Catarinense. Os cultivares copa ‘SCS458 Osvino’, ‘Satsuma EEI’, ‘Oronules’, ‘Clemenules’ e ‘Rio’, enxertados no citrangeiro ‘Carrizo’ e no citrumeleiro ‘Swingle’, foram avaliados no município de Águas Frias, Santa Catarina, durante os seis primeiros anos após o plantio, quanto ao crescimento e à produção de frutos. ‘Clemenules’ e ‘Okitsu’ apresentaram maior área de projeção e volume de copa e circunferência do tronco. ‘Oronules’ apresentou menor altura, área de projeção e volume de copa. Os porta-enxertos não afetaram significativamente o crescimento das copas. A massa acumulada de frutos colhidos até o 6o ano foi maior na ‘Rio’, bem como a eficiência produtiva por área e volume de copa. A massa acumulada de frutos e a massa média dos frutos foram menores na ‘Oronules’. As copas enxertadas em ‘Swingle’ apresentam maior produção de frutos por planta e por m² de copa, mas não houve diferença na eficiência por m³. Conclui-se que, ao fim do sexto ano, as plantas de ‘Clemenules’ e ‘Okitsu’ apresentam maiores copas. ‘Rio’ é o cultivar mais produtivo e eficiente. Há maior produção de frutos quando os cinco cultivares copas são enxertados em ‘Swingle’ do que em ‘Carrizo’.   </text>
