O experimento foi realizado na comunidade quilombola do sítio Barreiras município de Coremas estado da Paraíba, entre Fevereiro e Maio de 2014. O trabalho foi constituído por quatro tratamentos (sempre-verde, roxinho, costela-de-vaca e garanjão). O delineamento experimental foi em blocos ao acaso, com cinco repetições. As variáveis analisadas aos 50 dias após semeadura foram produtividade de grãos, comprimento médio de vagem, número de grãos por vagem, peso médio de vagem, massa de 100 grãos. Os dados obtidos foram submetidos a análise e as médias comparadas pelo teste de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade. Foi observada variação significativa para todas as variáveis analisadas. As variáveis aqui analisadas encontram-se acima das médias nacionais de produção, com destaque para o tratamento costela de vaca, que é uma variedade crioula mantida pelos pequenos agricultores da região, adaptada as condições locais apresentando rendimento superior quando comparado com as demais. A pesquisa foi realizada no ano de 2012, por meio de vivências, observando durante os anos de 2010, 2011 e 2012 as atividades desenvolvidas pela ATER no município e a sua contribuição para a melhoria de vida dos produtores rurais. Foi possível observar durante a pesquisa que a falta de informação ainda é um dos principais problemas na condução de práticas agrícolas, sendo estas conduzidas de forma errada. Através da ATER foram desenvolvidas atividades importantes como: caprinovinocultura, apicultura, forrageamento animal, aproveitamento de plantas nativas para a confecção de feno e silagem, e utilização de manejo agroecológico para o controle e convivência com pragas e doenças. O uso desta ferramenta foi de suma importância para o melhoramento na execução destas práticas junto aos produtores, as atividades pecuárias desenvolvidas através da ATER contribuíram de forma significativa para o desenvolvimento sustentável das propriedades.    ABSTRACT:   This study aimed to provide information about the main activities of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (ATER) held by state and municipal agencies in the municipality of Taperoá-PB. The survey was conducted in 2012, through experiences, noting during the years 2010, 2011 and 2012 the activities of the ATER in the municipality and its contribution to improving the lives of farmers. It was observed during the study that lack of information is still a major problem in conducting agricultural practices, which were conducted in the wrong way. Through ATER important activities were developed, among them: caprinovinocultura, beekeeping, foraging animals, use of native plants for making hay and silage; using agroecological management to control and live with pests and diseases. The use of this tool is of paramount importance for improvement in the implementation of these practices to the producers, livestock activities developed by ATER contributed significantly to the sustainable development of properties. Los inoculantes obtenidos se aplicaron en el material vegetal mencionado, efectuando mediciones durante tres meses. ABSTRACT This article describes the experiences of different groups of producers in the state of Jalisco and their efforts to develop an alternative development model. Beginning several years ago, they have transformed their conventional production systems into sustainable systems, and have also sought different commercialization channels. The groups have in common their participation in the Network of Sustainable Agricultural Alternatives (Red de Alternativas Sustentables Agropecuarias –RASA) in which different nongovernmental institutions and consumer groups also participate. This network may be considered a new social movement that aims to develop new schemes of sustainable rural development. We end with a discussion and conclusion in relation with the possibilities and challenges of the Network to strengthen sustainable agriculture and fair trade. Assim, objetivou-se avaliar espécies de leguminosas em pré-cultivo e sua influência sobre o feijoeiro em sistema de consórcio com cafeeiro, sob manejo da agricultura familiar. A avaliação foi conduzida em uma propriedade rural e conjuntamente com o agricultor familiar. As leguminosas avaliadas foram o feijão-de-porco e a lablabe, além de uma testemunha, representada pela vegetação espontânea. Foi adotado o delineamento de blocos casualizados, com oito repetições, onde cada entrelinha de cafeeiros representou um bloco. As variáveis analisadas foram produtividade de matérias fresca e seca; teor e acúmulo de N; contribuição da FBN nos pré-cultivos e produtividade do feijão cultivado em sucessão. O feijão-de-porco foi a leguminosa que apresentou a maior produção de matérias fresca e seca (19,04 e 4,25 t ha-1, respectivamente), acumulou mais N (113,99 kg ha-1) e aportou a maior quantidade de N-FBN ao sistema (49,18 kg ha-1). No entanto, o pré-cultivo com leguminosas não influenciou a produtividade do feijoeiro cultivado em sucessão. The BovGen prototype comes with the goal of providing an improvement of cattle breeding method.  This method already has numerous adepts who achieved great results, so small farmers will enjoy an efficient and profitable cattle management system. Articles and books specialized on nutrition and breeding of beef cattle in pickets were used to elaborate the app and its calculations: by searching external bases, it obtains useful sales data for the small producer. The application provides control, cattle overview, arroba data, picket exchange and better graphic-based pricing, increasing the farmer's efficiency. The implementing of this solution will raise the efficiency and income of small cattle breeders by enhancing their competitiveness with major producers and raising their current living conditions.
