De igual forma, se discute la importancia de homogenizar los términos y definir de manera clara a los gremios, a fin de tener un leguaje que permita entender los alcances del término sin ambigüedades. El uso del término, así como su persistencia en estudios ecológicos, sugiere que el mismo tiene relevancia considerable dependiendo de la forma y el modo en que es empleado. El uso inadecuado o derivado de este término es arriesgado y peligroso, dado que tiende a reducir el término a una palabra vacía con múltiples significados. Más que nada, esta trivialización constituye una amenaza al uso y significado adecuado del concepto de gremio en ecología.</text>

Os tratamentos foram representados pela inoculação das sementes com seis estirpes de bactérias diazotróficas (BF1358, AR3122, AR1122, ZAE94, M130 e AR2112), bem como pelo recobrimento das sementes com a turfa umedecida com o meio de cultivo esterilizado e pela não realização do procedimento de inoculação. As bactérias AR1122, M130, BF1358, ZAE94 e AR3112 podem ser selecionadas para formular inoculante para sementes de arroz. A inoculação com as bactérias diazotróficas aumenta a velocidade de germinação das sementes das cultivares IR42 e Zebu Branco, com menor contaminação por fungos.The objective of this work was to evaluate the germination and vigour of rice seeds affected by inoculation with diazotrophic bacteria. Two experiments were conduced. In the first one, a completely randomized design with four replications arranged in a factorial scheme (2 lots x 10 treatments) was used. For this, rice seeds of cultivar IC4440 were inoculated with eight strains of diazotrophic (AR1122, M130, BF1358, ZAE94, AR3122, AR2112, CD e BR2113), submitted to coating with peat soil humidified with a sterile medium and not inoculated. In the second study, a completely randomized design with four replications arranged in a factorial scheme (2 lots x 6 treatments) was used. For this, recently harvested seeds of cultivars IR42 and Zebu Branco were inoculated with six strains (BF1358, AR3122, AR1122, ZAE94, M130 e AR2112), submitted to coating with peat soil humidified with a sterile medium and not inoculated. The bacteria AR1122, M130, BF1358, ZAE94 and AR3112 can be selected for inoculation of rice seeds. The inoculation of diazotrophic bacteria increases the speed of germination of rice seeds of cultivars IR42 e Zebu Branco, with low contamination by fungi.</text>

                <text>A colheita é uma das etapas mais importantes no rendimento final do sistema produtivo do gergelim, pois perdas de sementes de 50% ou mais podem ocorrer após a maturação completa, devido à deiscência das cápsulas. Dessa forma, objetivou-se no presente trabalho apresentar, por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica, as tecnologias recomendadas para a colheita do gergelim: corte das plantas, preparação e organização dos feixes, secagem, batedura, peneiração e ventilação dos grãos. Ressalta-se, ainda, que a comercialização do gergelim no Nordeste é bastante pulverizada e de difícil organização, principalmente por ser proveniente de pequenos agricultores, onde se concentra a maior parte da produção. Nessa situação, o ideal é que os agricultores se organizem via cooperativas e associações para fomentar o cultivo em comunidade visando um planejamento a priori para maior eficiência e rentabilidade da exploração do gergelim, principalmente pelo fato do consumo nacional apresentar-se superior a oferta do produto. Este trabalho também relata a verticalização da produção de gergelim e as suas qualidades na saúde e alimentação humana. = The harvest is one of the most important stages in the final yield of the production system of sesame, because seed losses of 50% or more might occur following maturation, due to dehiscence of the capsules. Thus, the aim of this study show was to review the literature relative to the recommended technologies for the harvesting of sesame: cutting plant, preparation and organization of the beams, drying, mixing, sifting and ventilation of the grain. It is also important to note that the marketing of sesame in the Northeast is highly dispersed and difficult to organized, primarily because it is obtained from small farmers, where most of the production is done. In this a situation, the ideal would be for farmers be organized through cooperatives and associations to promote community growth in order to plan in advance for greater efficiency and profitability of the operation of sesame, particularly since domestic consumption exceeds the supply of the product. This paper also reports the vertical integration of the production of sesame and its associated qualities in human health and nutrition.</text>

                <text>Los acridios (tucuras y langostas) continúan ocasionando pérdidas económicas en la agricultura a nivel mundial. En Argentina, la importancia de estos insectos ha sido reconocida desde mediados del siglo XIX, dependiendo de la región considerada y en relación al progresivo desarrollo agropecuario en el país. Los hongos son los microorganismos parásitos de insectos más frecuentemente encontrados en la naturaleza y la mayoría de las investigaciones con hongos entomopatógenos se ha centrado en su desarrollo como bioplaguicidas. En el presente trabajo se dan a conocer cinco registros nuevos de Beauveria bassiana (Bals.-Criv.) Vuill., y dos de Entomophaga grylli (Fresen.) A. Batko que se encontraron afectando distintas especies de acridios; se amplía así la distribución geográfica y el espectro hospedador para estas especies fúngicas. Cabe destacar que con el aporte de estos siete registros nuevos, el número total de hongos entomopatógenos de acridios citados para la República Argentina se eleva de 22 a 29.</text>

                <text>The adoption of management practices that reduce water losses is essential to conserve moisture and improve soil temperature, especially in arid and semiarid environments of the Brazilian Northeast, characterized by high evapotranspiration and the adoption of irrigation with saline water, which harms growth and yield of commercial crops. Given these factories, an experiment was conducted in Nova Floresta, Paraíba, from August 2010 to February 2011 in Oxisoil, in order to evaluate the production of bell pepper and soil moisture in grooves with side trim, and application of biofertilizer and mulch cattle. The experimental design was randomized blocks with four replications using a factorial 2 x 2 x 2 for the ground beef with and without biofertilizer, with and without residues of sisal fiber (Agave sisalana), with and without the side facing the grooves, to reduce lateral water losses by infiltration of water with polyethylene plastic film. From the results, the lining of the lateral grooves provided higher values of soil moisture, number of fruits, fruit mass, plant production and productivity, bell pepper plants. It was also found that the combination of biofertilizer and mulch the ground beef remained wetter in the first 15 cm depth.</text>

                <text>Os himenópteros parasitoides são inimigos naturais de insetos-praga e têm demonstrado eficiência em estratégias de controle, contribuindo para a manutenção do equilíbrio ecológico de agroecossistemas. Esta pesquisa buscou identificar a diversidade de parasitoides associada a culturas de café em Piatã, BA. As coletas foram realizadas com armadilhas Malaise, que permaneceram no campo por sete dias em coletas mensais, de setembro de 2006 a agosto de 2007. Foram coletados 14.669 himenópteros, distribuídos em nove superfamílias, sendo elas Ceraphronoidea, Chalcidoidea, Chrysidoidea, Cynipoidea, Evanioidea, Ichneumonoidea, Mymarommatoidea, Platygastroidea e Proctotrupoidea, e 29 famílias. Coletaram-se 22 famílias constantes e 11 dominantes, destacando-se Ichneumonidae, Braconidae e Scelionidae como mais frequentes, totalizando 50,33% dos indivíduos coletados. As famílias Braconidae, Eulophidae e Bethylidae, indicadas como promissoras em programas de controle biológico no café, foram coletadas ao longo de todo o ciclo fenológico do café.</text>

                <text>The purpose of this work was to analyze the social-economical contributions from the followup procedure carried out by the Project: Reference Networks for Family Agriculture, which is being developed in the State of Paraná since 1998, in partnership with the Agronomical Institute of Paraná (IAPAR) and the Rural Extension and Technical Assistance Company of the State of Paraná (EMATER/PR). This analysis consists of two stages: firstly, the accomplishment of an economical-financial analysis, based on the data gathered in one of the followed-up properties, trying to identify if there was an increase in the income of this family and a better use of the production factors (land, capital and labor); secondly, by means of an interview with a semistructured questionnaire, it was tried to identify and analyze the family farmer’s perspective about his participation in this project as well as his level of satisfaction.Este trabalho procurou analisar as contribuições socioeconômicas decorrentes do acompanhamento realizado pelo Projeto Redes de Referências para a Agricultura Familiar, o qual está sendo desenvolvido no Estado do Paraná, desde 1998, numa parceria entre o entre o Instituto Agronômico do Paraná (IAPAR) e a Empresa Brasileira de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural (EMATER/PR). Esta análise consiste em duas etapas: primeiro, a realização de uma análise econômico-financeira, com base nos dados coletados em uma das propriedades acompanhadas, buscando identificar se houve um incremento na renda dessa família e uma melhor utilização dos fatores de produção (terra, capital e mão de obra); na segunda etapa do trabalho, por meio de uma entrevista com questionário semi-estruturado, procurou-se identificar e analisar a perspectiva do agricultor familiar acerca da participação neste projeto, bem como seu grau de satisfação.</text>

Resumen  Con el objetivo de incrementar y acelerar el proceso de germinación de las semillas y obtener una alta producción y homogeneidad de plántulas de Carica papaya variedad Maradol en vivero, se evaluó el efecto de tres biofertilizantes aplicados solos o en combinación (Azotobacter chroococcum, Azospirillum brasilense y Glomus intraradices), y un biorregulador del crecimiento vegetal, el ácido giberélico (AG3), en la germinación y el crecimiento vegetal. Se realizó un experimento bajo un diseño completamente al azar con ocho tratamientos y tres repeticiones. A las semillas se les aplicó un pretratamiento germinativo con alternancia de temperatura para superar la dormancia. Los tratamientos simples con A. chroococcum y A. brasilense, incrementaron el porcentaje de germinación a 90,28 y 88,89% respectivamente. Además, con la aplicación de los biofertilizantes y el AG3, la velocidad de germinación se incrementó y el tiempo medio de germinación se redujo. La doble aplicación en semillas y foliar de los biofertilizantes y el AG3 en plántulas mejoró el crecimiento vegetal. La población de A. chroococcum fue mayor cuando se inoculó en combinación con G. intraradices. La prevalencia de colonización de las plántulas inoculadas con G. intraradices varió de 18,53 a 26,67%, con el mayor valor registrado para el tratamiento combinado con A. brasilense. Finalmente, aplicando esta metodología se logró acelerar la germinación, obteniéndose una mayor homogeneidad en la emergencia de las plántulas, disminuyendo así el tiempo de permanencia en el vivero. In order to increase and accelerate the process of seed germination and obtain a high yield and homogeneity of papaya seedlings cv. Maradol in nurseries, we evaluated the effect of three biofertilizers applied single or in combination (Azotobacter chroococcum, Azospirillum brasilense and Glomus intraradices) and a plant growth bioregulator, the gibberellic acid 3 (AG3), on the germination and subsequent growth of papaya seedlings. An experimental design completely random with eight treatments and three replications were used. The application of a pre-germinal treatment with alternating temperature had to be applied to seeds to overcome dormancy. Single biofertilization with A. chroococcum and A. brasilense, promoted the germination percentage 90.28 y 88.89% respectively. Germination rate could be enhanced and the mean germination time was reduced with the application of biofertilizer and AG3. Both applications on seeds and leaves of biofertilizers and AG3, had a positive effect on plant growth. The population of A. chroococcum was higher in the combined inoculation with G. intraradices. The prevalence of colonization of plants inoculated with G. intraradices ranged from 18.53 to 26.67%, with the greatest values recorded for the treatment involving combined inoculation with A. brasilense. Finally, with the application of this methodology the seed germination rate was improved, as well as the uniformity of seedlings emergence.                 <text>Atualmente, as políticas destinadas a promover o desenvolvimento rural passam pela abordagem do Território como elemento importante, entendendo o agricultor como um agente social desse espaço. Nesse sentido, o Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário-MDA, por meio da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Territorial-SDT, demarcou, a partir de 2004, inúmeros Territórios Rurais e da Cidadania no Brasil, visando o desenvolvimento social, econômico e cultural da agricultura familiar. Recentemente, a SDT, objetivando fortificar as estratégias da política do desenvolvimento territorial no campo, implantou, em parceria com as universidades, os Núcleos de Extensão em Desenvolvimento Territorial-NEDETs, que têm como objetivo realizar ações extensionistas, de pesquisa e assessoria nos Territórios Rurais e da Cidadania. Portanto, este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender o papel dos NEDETs como estratégia das políticas federais para o desenvolvimento rural. Destacaremos o processo de implantação do NEDET no Sudoeste Goiano, iniciado em 2015, destacando seus desafios, avanços e perspectivas. Este trabalho caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa básica de caráter exploratório e qualitativo. Para a realização deste estudo foram utilizados os seguintes passos metodológicos: pesquisa bibliográfica (teórica e técnica); análise e tabulação de dados e pesquisa de campo por meio das ações do referido núcleo.</text>

                <text>O objetivo do estudo foi definir o perfil dos assentados e dos lotes onde os mesmos residem, bem como analisar aspectos etnopedológicos no assentamento rural Fazenda do Salto, localizado no município de Barra Mansa – RJ. A definição do perfil do assentado foi estabelecida por meio da realização de entrevistas com base no Roteiro de Entrevista Semi Estruturada para avaliar o perfil dos moradores do assentamento, da propriedade, a percepção ambiental e agrícola dos assentados, bem como aspectos etnopedológicos. A amostragem se caracterizou por ser dependente dos sujeitos disponíveis, sendo realizadas 10 entrevistas com os moradores do assentamento. O perfil dos assentados e de seus lotes aponta para pessoas com idade superior a 50 anos, baixo nível de escolaridade, carentes de assistência técnica para auxiliar no desenvolvimento de suas atividades, baixo nível tecnológico aplicado em seus lotes, seja para a produção agrícola, seja para a pecuária, pouca ou nenhuma especialização e predominância de mão de obra familiar. Quanto à percepção dos aspectos etnopedológicos dos assentados ressalta-se a semelhança na descrição dos solos presentes no lote avaliado, em uma linguagem simplista e popular com aquela definida pela literatura científica e acadêmica.</text>
