Este trabajo es una reflexión para pensar la relación que el hombre en su caminar por la tierra ha mantenido con la naturaleza, la ecología y consigo mismo; relación que, en la escena global contemporánea, plantea desafíos y urgencias debido al abuso del dominio de poder del hombre, causando su destrucción sobre ella. Ante la evidencia y la envergadura de sus impactos nocivos la humanidad se ha empezado a cuestionar que no ha sido legítimo lo que se hace con la naturaleza, apareciendo la inquietud ética que moviliza hacia la necesidad nuevas formas de relación y cuidado.Para ello, se establece como objetivo realizar un análisis conceptual de la relación medio ambiente, naturaleza y ecología, en donde el hombre como actor, facilitador y responsable se estimule a adoptar una mejor comprensión, y construir un sistema de relaciones ecológico orientado a que los seres humanos se reconozcan parte integrante de la naturaleza, para superar la precariedad de la vida y ayude a colocarla en una posición privilegiada. Metodológicamente, el trabajo es de carácter documental bibliográfico, soportadas en investigaciones previas de Ewald (relación de saber y poder); Guardini (el ocaso de la modernidad) Boff (en lenguaje asociativo de la naturaleza), Morín (ecosistemas) en donde se articula análisis comprensivos de la relación hombre-naturaleza, y como reflexión se establece que, es desde el planteamiento de las relaciones como se puede cuidar nuestro ambiente.

Se caracterizó la comunidad de hongos asociada a la necromasa de Espeletia grandiflora, segúnlas siguientes variables: Grado de descomposición de la necromasa, segmentos foliares, tama-ño de la planta y época climática. El muestreo se realizó durante los meses marzo-abril (seca-húmeda), agosto (seca) y octubre (húmeda) del año 2001. Las muestras de roseta y denecromasa a diferentes alturas con respecto al suelo (distribución vertical), fueron subdivididasen secciones foliares (distribución horizontal), procesadas según la técnica de aislamiento demicelio activo en medios de cultivo PDA y luego determinadas hasta especie. La clase-forma:Deuteromycete presentó cuatro familias, Moniliaceae, Dematiaceae, Melanconiaceae ySphaeropsidaceae, donde la familia Moniliaceae exhibió la mayor riqueza de especies (4),seguida por la Dematiaceae (3); de igual forma la clase Ascomicete con cuatro familias,Sordariaceae, Chaetomiaceae, Lasiosphaerinaceae y Nectriaceae, siendo Sordariaceae la másrepresentativa en especies (2). Las clases Oomycetes y Zigomycetes presentaron una familia,Pytiaceae y Mortierelaceae respectivamente; la familia Pytiaceae estuvo representada por tresespecies. Es de anotar que, la clase-forma Deuteromycetes presenta la mayor riqueza en fami-lias, especies y la mayor abundancia de individuos, sin embargo, los individuos con las mayoresfrecuencias y una amplia distribución correspondes a las clases Ascomycetes y Oomycete.Las especies de hongos siguieron un patrón de distribución fundamentado en la heteroge-neidad espacial como temporal de los hábitats en estudio. Pythium vexansy Sordaria fimicolarepresentaron 33% de la abundancia total de las especies de hongos asociadas a la necromasade Espeletia grandiflora.

Introducción: Las comunidades indígenas presentan un mayor riesgo de inseguridad alimentaria y malnutrición, menor disponibilidad de recursos, y una creciente dependencia de alimentos más baratos aunque con un alto grado de procesamiento. Objetivo: Identificar el estado nutricional y aspectos alimentarios en mujeres indígenas de tres comunidades del Departamento de Presidente Hayes, Chaco Paraguayo. Metodología: Estudio observacional de diseño transversal con componente analítico, que incluyó a 81 mujeres de 15 a 44 años de edad, de las etnias Maká y Toba Qom. Previo consentimiento informado, se realizó la valoración nutricional y la entrevista para obtener los datos sociodemográficos y alimentarios. Resultados: Las mujeres indígenas presentaron una frecuencia de sobrepeso de 30,8% y obesidad del 21,0%, mientras que el 1,2 % presentó desnutrición. No encontramos diferencia significativa entre las etnias, en relación al sobrepeso y obesidad, (p>0,05). Observamos que las indígenas tenían una alta ingesta de frutas, azúcares y mieles. El 87 y 88% de las mujeres indígenas de ambas etnias estudiadas refirieron no consumir lácteos y derivados y entre 65 y 69% refirieron no consumir verduras. Conclusiones: Observamos un elevado porcentaje de obesidad y sobrepeso, un bajo consumo de lácteos y verduras y un alto consumo de azúcares, relacionados posiblemente a cambios en los aspectos alimentarios y sus costumbres, influenciados por la cercanía a las zonas urbanas y el acceso a alimentos de menor precio y mayor contenido energético.

La rápida propagación de plantas frutales europeas en Chile y Cuyo formuló el problema de su aprovechamiento, asunto complejo antes de la disponibilidad de medios de refrigeración. La respuesta fue el impulso a la actividad agroindustrial. Algunos frutas se conservaban mediante deshidratación, otras se usaban para elaboraban aceites. Algunos de estos productos se comercializaban en el mercado interno y otros se exportaban, particularmente al Perú. Además se avanzó en el aprovechamiento de frutales tanto para construcción como en carpintería y ebanistería. Estas actividades aseguraron la viabilidad económica de la fruticultura e hicieron posible su expansión en la región estudiada.

En un contexto de polarización entre los niveles de desarrollo entre la Capital y el Interior, el desarrollo sustentable de Uruguay se ve condicionado por la presión creciente sobre los recursos naturales y por el cambio climático. Teniendo en cuenta la situación nacional y el perfil socio-productivo de la región Noroeste (departamentos de Arigas, Rivera, Tacuarembó y Cerro Largo), el documento focaliza la problemática del cambio climático desde un enfoque cualitativo, tomando a la gobernanza territorial como marco teórico. Se consideran aquí la dimensión de la artiulación entre niveles gubernamentales y la participación de los actores locales, cuya visión constituye un insumo crucial para el diseño de políticas asertivas. En ese marco, se efectúa una caracterización de los actuales desafíos en términos de diseño político-institucional para abordar la problemática. Finalmente, se esbozan algunas perspectivas en materia de desarrollo sustentable y cambio climático para la región Noroeste del Uruguay.

Considerando los diversos desafíos del cambiante actual entorno internacional, marcado por la incertidumbre y por diversos riesgos pero que también abre oportunidades para la región latinoamericana, este trabajo analiza la búsqueda de articulación de las políticas energéticas, la situación en materia de las energías renovables en el contexto del MERCOSUR (Mercado Común del Sur) y los intercambios comerciales en materia energética, focalizando el caso del Uruguay y sus vínculos con los países vecinos Argentina y Brasil. Partiendo de una perspectiva de desarrollo sostenible, se revisa la evolución de las matrices energéticas y sus eventuales aportes en términos de mitigación del cambio climático. En este contexto destaca el proceso de inversiones en el sector de las energías renovables realizadas en Uruguay en los últimos años, que posibilitaron desde 2017 exportaciones a cargo de actores privados. Teniendo en cuenta la multidimensionalidad de los procesos de desarrollo, el trabajo explora algunas perspectivas que surgen de los procesos regionales y nacionales de cara a la promoción de modelos de desarrollo sostenible y el combate al cambio climático, incluyendo expresamente la complejidad del diálogo entre la dimensión medioambiental y la dimensión económico-comercial.

Resumo: As fontes renováveis de energia têm ganhado cada vez mais destaque no cenário mundial atual, sendo os pilares da busca pelo desenvolvimento sustentável. A transferência de conhecimento do ensino superior para o ensino médio, com relação aos conceitos e tecnologias de geração de energia com fontes renováveis, é uma ação importante e de responsabilidade social, principalmente quando se diz respeito de universidades com cursos de engenharia que tratam de tecnologias limpas. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho expõe uma metodologia para transferência de conhecimento do ensino superior sobre conceitos e tecnologias de geração de energia com fontes renováveis, por parte da Universidade Federal de Itajubá-MG, a alunos das escolas de ensino médio do município de Itabira – MG. A metodologia proposta obteve aceitação prática, e bons níveis de satisfação e assimilação do conteúdo, reforçando a importância da difusão do conhecimento na temática abordada. Popularization of concepts and technologies of power generation with renewable sources in high schools in the city of Itabira, Minas Gerais State, Brazil Abstract: Renewable energy sources have gained more prominence in the current world scenario, being a cornerstone of the theme of sustainable development. The transfer of knowledge from higher education to high school with respect to the concepts and power generation technologies with renewable sources is an important and socially responsible action, especially when it concerns universities with engineering programs dealing with clean technology. In this sense, this article sets out a methodology for higher education knowledge transfer of concepts and power generation technologies with renewable sources from the Federal University of Itajubá - MG to the students of secondary schools in the city of Itabira – MG. The proposed methodology achieved practical acceptance and good levels of satisfaction and assimilation of the contents, reinforcing the importance of the dissemination of knowledge on the theme. La transferencia de conocimientos de la educación superior a la secundaria con respecto a los conceptos y las tecnologías de generación de energía con fuentes renovables es una acción importante y socialmente responsable, sobre todo cuando se trata de universidades con programas de ingeniería relacionadas con la tecnología limpia. En este sentido, este artículo se propone a detallar una metodología que visa la transferencia de conocimientos de la universidad a la escuela secundaria sobre los conceptos y las tecnologías de generación de energía con fuentes renovables. La universidad responsable es la Universidad Federal de Itajubá-MG. La metodología propuesta logró aceptación práctica y un buen nivel de satisfacción y la asimilación de los contenidos, lo que refuerza la importancia de la difusión de los conocimientos sobre el tema. The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting public health measures necessitated many workplaces to permit workers to work from home. The question is now asked can the temporary transition to enable workers to work from home become more permanent and how will this shape the spatial distribution of employment opportunities and, in turn, workforces. This paper focuses on the potential for ICT-supported working from home arrangements to reshape employment opportunities in rural settings. With limited local employment opportunities being a major driver of rural out-migration, enabling rural residents to access a broader range of employment through ICT may result in a longer term disruption to rural out-migration patterns. Despite the potential of ICT to support remote working, uptake in rural areas has been relatively low. This paper argues that the recent increase in use of ITC-supported working from home arrangements promoted by COVID-19 public health measures may erode of two of the major barriers to participation in remote working—these being negative perceptions by the employer and employer about working from home and limited knowledge within workplaces about how to manage a partly or fully remote workforce. For rural populations it is plausible that the rapid transition to ICT-supported working from home arrangements will open up more diverse employment opportunities. However, it remains that for some rural areas and populations the urban-rural digital divide persists as a barrier to participation in ICT-supported remote working.
