As quantidades de sementes (Q) só afetaram significativamente a matéria seca da forragem, ao nível de 0,01 de probabilidade, pelo Teste F. A interação C x Q só apresentou significância estatística, ao nível de 0,01 de probabilidade pelo Teste F. Os coeficientes de variação ficaram entre 5,10 e 26, 09, sendo considerados ótimos por se tratar de experimento em campo. A produção de forragem de milho foi reduzida até 10,8% e houve decréscimo no teor de cinzas em até 32,5% com o aumento de concentração de biofertilizante até 36 ml/L. O percentual de matéria seca da forragem foi reduzido com aplicações de concentrações de biofertilizante até 27 ml e a quantidade de sementes acima 2 kg/m². O protocolo final da hemi-nested RT-PCR foi aplicado a 21 amostras fecais de vacas previamente positivas para BCoV e o sequenciamento de DNA do produto de 441pb de 14 amostras resultaram em sequências com elevado escore do gene HE do BCoV após a análise no BLAST/n. This study sought to explore how SMEs in Masvingo, Zimbabwe were affected by a government declared lockdown. In particular, the study sought to establish how the SMEs responded to the lockdown, the strategies that they instituted and the implications of the lockdown on the productivity of the SMEs. A qualitative approach was adopted specifically adopting the descriptive case study approach as a research methodology. Ten participants who participated in this study were conveniently selected from 7 purposively selected SMEs in Masvingo town. Indepth interviews were used for data collection. Results indicated that SMEs were negatively affected by the lockdown. Most of them stopped operations and had to lay off some of their employees. Production in most cases was halted and this entailed that the future after the lockdown was bleak for them. The SMEs appealed for government support to enable them to resuscitate after the lockdown. Most recent sequence assemblers are based on the construction of a de Bruijn graph. An alternative framework of growing interest is the assembly string graph, not necessitating a division of the reads into k-mers, but requiring fast algorithms for the computation of suffix-prefix matches among all pairs of reads. Results Here we present efficient methods for the construction of a string graph from a set of sequencing reads. Our approach employs suffix sorting and scanning methods to compute suffix-prefix matches. Transitive edges are recognized and eliminated early in the process and the graph is efficiently constructed including irreducible edges only. Conclusions Our suffix-prefix match determination and string graph construction algorithms have been implemented in the software package Readjoiner.
