Las ganaderías de trópico bajo enfrentan el desafío de adaptar sus producciones a las consecuencias del cambio climático, que ha generado épocas secas prolongadas y escasez de alimento para los animales en estos periodos. Objetivo. El objetivo de esta revisión bibliográfica fue recopilar y analizar resultados de investigaciones sobre las especies forrajeras arbustivas: Tithonia diversifolia, Gliricidia sepium, Cratylia argentea y Crescentia cujete, como estrategia para mejorar la oferta nutricional en las ganaderías en trópico bajo. Desarrollo. En Colombia, las ganaderías de carne se localizan principalmente en trópico bajo, y suelen tener problemas de alimentación por la pobre calidad de las pasturas y su baja disponibilidad en la época seca. Los sistemas silvopastoriles (SSP) contribuyen a mejorar los indicadores productivos y reproductivos de los animales, ya que integran en diferentes arreglos y estratos, plantas leñosas perennes (árboles y/o arbustivas), leguminosas (rastreras, arbustivas) y pasturas, con una mayor oferta nutricional y forrajera que los sistemas convencionales. Las arbustivas T. diverfisolia, G. sepium, C. argentea, y C. cujete, por sus características multipropósito, producción de biomasa y adaptación a distintas condiciones climáticas y edáficas, han sido usadas en ramoneo, bancos forrajeros, cercas vivas y conservación de forrajes, p. ej. ensilaje. Conclusión. Por sus características, usos, producción de biomasa y perfil nutricional, sería pertinente evaluar el comportamiento de estas especies en estrategias de alimentación en ganaderías en condiciones de trópico bajo. Realizar una auditoría energética es una labor compleja. Para analizar el comportamiento energético de un edificio es preciso manejar diversas variables en procesos dinámicos y cambiantes. Si no se cuenta con unos datos de partida precisos, los errores en las conclusiones pueden resultar significativos. Pero, por otro lado, también se puede caer en la pretensión de un exceso de precisión que hace inviable el trabajo de campo para la toma de datos y que aporta muy poco más a las conclusiones finales. Alumnos de informática y alumnos de arquitectura pueden aportar visiones complementarias para abordar con más éxito el problema del estudio de la eficiencia energética de los edificios. Inicialmente, alumnos de Gado de Ingeniería de Sistemas Informáticos discuten con estudiantes de Grado en Fundamentos de Arquitectura las especificaciones del proyecto (variables a medir, características del edificio, estructura de los datos, etc.). Basándose en estas especificaciones, diseñan la infraestructura informática necesaria, fundamentalmente una red de sensores, un sistema de comunicación y un sistema de almacenamiento que permita el posterior análisis. Por su parte, los alumnos de arquitectura reciben los valiosos datos aportados. En primer lugar, tienen que aprender a manejar, analizar e interpretar la gran cantidad de datos recogidos. Además, obtienen un fundamento empírico que les permite obtener conclusiones validadas por los datos obtenidos. Además de manejar datos estadísticos y resultados que ofrecen las simulaciones, tienen acceso a los datos reales recogidos in situ, lo que permite afinar en las conclusiones. En el proceso ambos alumnos enriquecen su trabajo mutuamente. Los alumnos de arquitectura explicitan sus necesidades y los alumnos de informática vuelcan su esfuerzo en dar respuesta a las demandas de un problema real y de gran utilidad que les permite desarrollar competencias técnicas y transversales. Por último, la sociedad también sale beneficiada de este proceso de aprendizaje compartido. Más concretamente la Escuela de Minas de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid ofrece un aula donde llevar a cabo la auditoría energética y recibe de manera desinteresada el fruto del aprendizaje.  Las conclusiones del estudio le permiten acometer medidas de mejora en el desempeño energético del aula. Obtiene una hoja de ruta que le permite acometer las inversiones que pueda realizar con unos criterios de rentabilidad acertados. Pero también la sociedad en general se ve beneficiada, dado que las medidas que la Escuela de Minas pueda acometer redundan en una reducción del consumo energético, lo que implica una reducción de las emisiones de CO2 y, por tanto, cierta mitigación del cambio climático, tan urgente en el momento actual. En el curso 2018-2019 una estudiante de arquitectura y dos de informática han realizado sus respectivos TFG y PFM en este contexto, obteniendo unos resultados satisfactorios, tanto en el aspecto técnico como de aprendizaje. Society needs people with different skills to carry out complex tasks. In addition, solutions to the problems of today's society require the cooperation of different disciplines. Can we help university students to learn to work in multidisciplinary teams? Carrying out an energy audit is a complex task. In order to analyze the energy consumption of a building, it is necessary to manage several variables in dynamic and changing processes. In the absence of accurate initial data, the errors in conclusions can be significant. However, we can also fall into the trap of an excess of precision, which makes fieldwork for data collection unviable and which contributes very little more to the final conclusions. Computer science students and architecture students can provide complementary insights to address the problem of studying the energy efficiency of buildings more successfully. Initially, students of Computer Science discuss with students in Architecture Fundamentals the specifications of the project (variables to be measured, characteristics of the building, data structure, etc.). Based on these specifications, they design the necessary IT infrastructure, basically a sensor network, a communication system and a storage system that allows subsequent analysis. On the other hand, the students in architecture receive the valuable data provided. First, they have to learn how to manage, analyze and interpret the large amount of data collected. In this way they have an empirical basis that allows them to draw conclusions validated by the data obtained. In addition to handling statistical data and results offered by the simulations, they have access to real data collected in situ, which allows them to fine-tune their conclusions. In the process, students of both fields mutually enrich their work. Architecture students explain their needs and computer science students focus their efforts on responding to the demands of a real and very useful problem that allows them to develop technical and transversal skills. Finally, society also benefits from this shared learning process. More specifically, the Escuela de Minas of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid offers a classroom to carry out the energy audit and obtains the learning results in a disinterested way.  The conclusions of the study allow them to undertake measures to improve the energy performance of the classroom. They obtain a roadmap that allows them to undertake the investments they can make with the right profitability criteria. But society in general also benefits, since the measures that the Escuela de Minas may undertake result in a reduction in energy consumption, which implies a reduction in CO2 emissions and, therefore, some mitigation of climate change, so urgent at the present time.
