Na região do nordeste do Pará há vários empreendimentos agroalimentares, que beneficiam a mandioca. Assim, objetivou-se realizar um estudo sobre o processamento da mandioca nos empreendimentos agroalimentares do nordeste do Pará e de percepção em torno das iniciativas do processo de aproveitamento de seus resíduos. A pesquisa foi realizada por meio de visitas de campo, entrevistas com os agricultores, e alguns registros fotográficos. Foi aplicado um questionário constituído de perguntas abertas e fechadas, e a escolha dos entrevistados aconteceu por meio da técnica denominada snowball sampling (bola de neve). Após a coleta de dados, foi realizada uma avaliação quantitativa, possibilitando detectar que os empreendimentos beneficiadores de mandioca estudados da região nordeste do Pará não tratam adequadamente seus resíduos e o mais preocupante é o descarte da manipueira (efluente), por ser considerada uma solução tóxica, pela presença da linamarina, glicosídeo, característicos da planta da mandioca, potencialmente hidrolisável a ácido cianídrico. El objetivo de este trabajo fue establecer el momento adecuado de sacrificio de los animales, para su comercialización en buenas condiciones clínicas y niveles aceptables de residuos. Se sacrificaron animales a cinco tiempos pos- tratamiento; 200 mg de músculo pectoral homogeneizados en buffer fosfato se desproteinizaron, evaporaron y eluyeron por cromatografía líquida de alta presión con detección por fluorescencia. La concentración de residuos de enrofloxacina fue máxima a las 24 h de finalizado el tratamiento (0.073 + 0.006 mg/g), inferior al límite máximo de residuos establecido por entes reguladores internacionales (0.3 mg/g). Los niveles máximos (0.027 + 0.015 mg/g) se detectaron para ciprofloxacina a las 72 h. In our country enrofloxacin is employed in poultry and pig production. Ciprofloxacin, the mayor metabolite of enrofloxacin, is a useful resource in human medicine and one alternative for farm animals. Both antimicrobials were simultaneously detected in muscle of chickens naturally infected with Mycoplasma synoviae and administrated with enrofloxacin or ciprofloxacin (5mg/kg/12h oral) for 5 days. The purpose of this work was to determine the adequate slaughter moment of the animals, with good clinical conditions and acceptable residue levels. The animals were sacrificed at 5 times after treatment. The samples (200 mg) were homogenized in phosphate buffer, and extracted twice with dichloromethane. The fluoroquinolones were detected by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection at 295 nm excitation and 500 nm emission. The concentration of enrofloxacin residues was maximal at 24 h after treatment (0.073 + 0.006 ìg/ g) and was lower than the maximal limit levels established by international regulations (0.3 ìg/g). In ciprofloxacin administrated animals the superior concentration of the antimicrobial in muscle was 72 h after treatment with 0.027 + 0.015 ìg/g. The consumers and the authorities must be concern about the control of veterinary residues in different products and edible tissues of farm animals. Se sembró raygrass sobre estos materiales y los mismos mezclado con suelo. La producción de materia seca de raygrass en los materiales T1 y T2 fue significativamente menor que en los restantes tratamientos. Resultados similares fueron cuantificados cuando los mismos materiales se incorporaron al suelo. El contenido de N en planta fue menor al incorporar al suelo los materiales T1 y T2 indicando inmovilización de este nutriente. Al adicionar los materiales T3 y T4 al suelo se comprobó que no hubo diferencias significativas entre ellos, en consecuencia, el empleo del material T3 puede considerarse una buena opción ya que puede utilizarse anticipadamente lográndose beneficios económicos y medioambientales.Land application of organic materials is a common practice in sustainable agriculture. Our aim was i) to study the effect of the incorporation of organic material at different maturity stages on the ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) growth, and ii) to estimate the stage capable to produce the product more efficient in providing nitrogen to the plant nutrition. Four compost samples consisted of pruning waste, leaves and grass clippings were selected from four different piles at different stages of the composting process: initial non-decomposed material, 2 months old at the end of the bio-oxidative stage, 7 months old during the maturation phase, and 12 months old at the end of the maturation phase. These compost samples were used to ryegrass growing assays, and they were also added to a clay silty soil. Dry matter values were lower in T1 and T2 than in T3 and T4.Similar results were quantified when the same materials were incorporated to a soil. Nitrogen leaf content revealed that soil N immobilization had ocurred in T1 and T2 treatments. A compost, which had 7 months old during the maturation phase, did not cause any negative effect on the evaluated parameters. This compost seems to be sufficiently stable and its use would save time in compost process, compared with a compost 12 months old. The COVID-19 pandemic represents a situation with a high amount of stress exposure, which in turn may be associated with negative emotional outcome like depressive symptoms. The current study investigated if resilience moderated the effect of stress on symptoms of depression and if anxiety symptoms mediated this association. An adult sample of community controls completed the Perceived stress scale 14 (PSS-14), the Resilience scale for adults (RSA), the Patient health questionnaire 9 (PHQ-9) and the Generalized anxiety disorder 7 (GAD-7). Independent samples t-test, correlation analyses and moderated mediation analyses were conducted. The results showed that resilience moderated the relations between stress and anxiety symptoms (β = −0.131, p < 0.001) as well as between stress and depressive symptoms (β = −0.068, p < 0.05). In support of a moderated mediation model, resilience moderated the indirect effect of stress on depressive symptom, as confirmed by the index of moderated mediation (IMM = −0.036, p < 0.001; [95% BCa: −0.055, −0.020]). The high resilience subgroup was less affected than the low resilience subgroup by the effect of stress exposure symptoms of depression, mediated by anxiety. The study shows that stress exposure is associated with symptoms of depression, and anxiety mediates this association. Level of resilience differentiates the direct and indirect effect of stress on depression. Knowledge about the effect of stress in response to a pandemic is important for developing treatment and prevention strategies for stress, depression and health-related anxiety. En el presente trabajo asociamos espacialmente la biodiversidad de la cobertura vegetal del Suroeste de México con su capacidad para adaptarse a los efectos del cambio climático. Para analizar esta asociación se estimaron índices de riqueza y diversidad de especies, y su relación con escenarios de clima futuro. Se utilizaron los registros geográficos del Inventario Nacional Forestal y de Suelos para ocho comunidades vegetales (arbórea, arbustiva, herbácea, palma, cactus, bejucos, helechos y xerófita) distribuidas entre Guerrero, Oaxaca y Chiapas. La proyección climática fue al 2050, con modelos de circulación global A2 (promedio CCCMA, HADCM3 y CSIRO), 19 variables bioclimáticas y una resolución de 2.5 minutos. Los escenarios de cambio climático se modelaron con el algoritmo MaxEnt y la riqueza de especies, índice de diversidad y regresiones espaciales con el software Diva-GIS v7.5. Los modelos de regresión espacial estimaron que a mayor riqueza y diversidad de especies mayor seria la resiliencia que mostraría el ecosistema. Las comunidades vegetales cactus, palma y xerófita mostraron mayor vulnerabilidad al cambio climático. Las variaciones en la estacionalidad de la temperatura resultó ser el factor que condicionaría su distribución futura. Por lo que, las estrategias de conservación o manejo deberían considerar a la diversidad como un agente del ecosistema que amortiguaría a los efectos negativos del clima futuro.
