Cisneros-Ortiz, Osvaldo Romero-Romero Description An account of the resource Este trabajo se determinó el potencial de biogás contenido en la fermentación anaerobia mesofílica de los principales residuos sólidos agroindustriales de la caña de azúcar producidos en el central Uruguay de la provincia de Sancti Spíritus, utilizando como inóculo un lodo anaerobio de estiércol porcino. Los residuos evaluados fueron paja de caña y bagazo de caña. Se realizaron experimentos en lote, en botellas serológicas de 585mL, bajo condiciones mesofilicas (35±2ºC). Se determinaron parámetros físico–químicos (STT, STV, pH, Alcalinidad) para evaluar la estabilidad de los procesos y se cuantificó la acumulación de AGVs y la producción de biogás. Los resultados mostraron que la producción total de biogás de la digestión de los residuales evaluados fue superior a la digestión anaerobia cuando solo se utiliza estiércol como lo cual se demostró la viabilidad del inóculo utilizado, para el arranque de digestores que traten estos residuos. Los valores obtenidos de potencial de biogás (259-273 m3/tonSV), resultan alentadores para el uso de esta tecnología a mayor escala con fines energéticos cuya generación total de energía eléctrica puede llegar a más de 150 GWh/año, y más de 230 GWh/año de energía térmica. García Blánquez Description An account of the resource La excavación arqueológica de un sector de la huerta de Murcia cercano a la ciudad, puso al descubierto un conjunto de estructuras hidráulicas andalusíes, junto a varios lotes de arcaduces tudmiríes que fechan los hallazgos entre el siglo X y finales del siglo XI o inicios del XII.  El hallazgo de estas estructuras islámicas sobre un contexto arqueológico tardoantiguo, reabrió en Murcia el antiguo debate sobre el posible origen pre-árabe de su sistema de riego, dando lugar a diversas interpretaciones acerca de sus antecedentes clásicos. Sin embargo, la conclusión del estudio de las estructuras, contextos estratigráficos y materiales han refutado aquella tesis, al menos respecto del heredamiento Norte (o de Aljufía), y confirmado nuestras hipótesis iniciales, en tres aspectos fundamentales: primero, la indudable filiación islámica de las estructuras hidráulicas documentadas y, en consecuencia, del sistema de irrigación del heredamiento Norte de Murcia; segundo, la extensión del perímetro de irrigación de esta parte del sistema hidráulico y su datación en el siglo X; y tercero, la primera identificación arqueológica en al-Andalus, de la que hemos denominado aceña de acequia, empleada para extraer agua de una acequia de riego a cielo abierto.  Desde el punto de vista tecnológico realizamos una breve revisión de los modelos actuales y andalusíes y de su antecedente clásico la rueda extractora de tracción animal, representada en un monumento funerario de Kôm el-Dikka (Alejandría, Egipto).  Finalmente, aunque no es el objeto de este estudio, los resultados arqueológicos relativos a su datación y extensión en el heredamiento Norte, nos permiten de forma indirecta hacer extensivas estas conclusiones al resto del sistema hidráulico murciano y al momento de su fundación, y plantear nuevas hipótesis acerca de su proceso de construcción. El concepto ha sido utilizado desde el enfoque de la gestión adaptativa de recursos naturales para comprender la resiliencia a diferentes tipos de cambio, incluyendo cambios de régimen en los ecosistemas, el cambio climático, disturbios y estrés sobre los sistemas agrícolas.Objetivo: Este artículo es una revisión bibliográfica del aporte de la Teoría de Redes Sociales para el estudio de la gestión adaptativa de los sistemas socio-ecológicos, influenciada por capacidades del subsistema social, como el aprendizaje, la innovación y la colaboración.Métodos: Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica, totalizando 46 artículos científicos que adoptan el enfoque de las redes sociales para el análisis de la gestión adaptativa. Asimismo, se hizo una revisión complementaria de los principales conceptos abordados.Resultados: En este trabajo se presentan las características estructurales más relevantes de las redes sociales y como pueden ser utilizadas para explicar la capacidad de auto-organización de los sistemas hacia la adaptación a las crisis y cambios. Los individuos y las instituciones juegan diferentes roles en los procesos de co-gestión y gobernanza, lo que se refleja en la capacidad de toma de decisiones, de liderazgo y cooperación.Conclusiones: Las estructuras de las redes sociales están asociadas a la capacidad adaptativa de los sistemas socio ecológicos. El enfoque adaptativo ha posibilitado a grupos sociales e instituciones mejorar la resiliencia en diferentes sistemas de gestión. La existencia de estructuras policéntricas, con nodos bien conectados indica la heterogeneidad necesaria a la experimentación e innovación, que se puede garantizar con la coordinación adecuada de las redes. La máxima de la transgresión holocénica ocurrió entre 6000 y 2500 años A.P y a ella corresponden algunos niveles de terrazas y marismas (no funcionales). Los últimos 2500 años han mostrado una relativa estabilidad del nivel del medio del mar, aunque con fluctuaciones menores. En este trabajo se estudió la morfogénesis del litoral caribe y especialmente el retroceso de la línea de costa debido al evento transgresivo menor de los últimos 150 años, durante el cual se estima un ascenso del nivel del medio del mar de aproximadamente 20cm, como consecuencia del calentamiento. Due to the warming power of methane, which is 28 higher than carbon monoxide, current research focuses on diminishing the emissions of this gas by domestic ruminants. The use of several species of tropical trees and shrubs as a supplement of ruminant feed have resulted ideal within silvopastoral systems. Objective. To analyze the current research on trees tropical foliage through the implementation of silvopastoral systems in conventional livestock systems with the aim to diminish GHG generated by ruminal fermentation. Methodology. The search of bibliographic information was performed during august 2018 and june 2019 using key terms. Results. The results from the diverse research shows that foliage from trees and shrubs located in tropical regions not only increase livestock performance, but al so diminish methane synthesis within the rumen due to the action of derived plant secondary metabolites such as condensed tannins, phenolic compounds, essential oils, flavonoids and saponins present in leaves and pods. Implications. The information presented in this paper focuses on the use of foliage of tree and shrub species with forage potential in tropical conditions, which have a significant effect on the reduction of methanogenesis in ruminants due to an improvement in nutritional quality of the diet and the presence of secondary metabolites Conclusion.  The use of silvopastoral systems with tropical legumes species have the potential of reducing the GHG produced by cattle by 20 up to 38 %.
