Methods: In this retrospective chart review, all consecutive cases presenting to the Retina-Uveitis service from May 2020 to January 2021 with retinal manifestations associated with COVID-19 infection or its sequelae or as a result of treatment given for COVID-19 were included. Results: Of the 7 patients, 3 were female, and 4 were male. Four patients had onset of symptoms during the active phase of COVID-19 infection. Four had bilateral and three had unilateral involvement. The manifestations ranged from mild to vision threatening. Vision threatening manifestations included infections: endogenous endophthalmitis, candida retinitis and tubercular choroidal abscess and bilateral pre-foveal hemorrhages. Milder manifestations included paracentral acute middle maculopathy, central serous chorio-retinopathy and voriconazole induced visual symptoms. Final visual acuity was 6/36 or better in the four severe cases and 6/9 or better in the mild cases. Conclusion: This study highlights the retinal manifestations associated with COVID-19 infection and its sequelae. As these patients presented with an association with COVID-19 (either during or after recovery), ophthalmologists should be vigilant and screen for such entities in case of complaints of visual symptoms or in the presence of systemic sepsis. The outcomes can be good with prompt and aggressive management. Este estudo analisou o retorno de investimentos de diferentes STRS sendo realizado entre os meses de outubro de 2013 a maio de 2014. Para a coleta de dados, foi elaborado um questionário eletrônico aplicado por meio de entrevistas em 37 granjas do estado de São Paulo escolhidas aleatoriamente. Para análise de viabilidade econômica dos diferentes STRS, utilizou-se a técnica de orçamento de capital (PAYBACK e TIR). As granjas foram divididas em quatro categorias: GEEBC – Geração de energia elétrica, biofertilizante e créditos de carbono; GEEBI – Geração de energia elétrica e biofertilizante; GEEEL – Geração de energia elétrica; SGPVA – Sem geração de produtos de valor agregado. O melhor resultado econômico foi observado na categoria GEEBC com tempo médio de retorno financeiro de nove anos. Observou-se que 73% dos pesquisados não exploravam o valor econômico dos resíduos tratados, mantendo seus investimentos com intuito de contemplar a legislação ambiental vigente. El trabajo de investigación se abordó desde la hermenéutica de los espacios al seleccionar a veinticinco (25) pobladores, a quienes se le aplicó una entrevista a profundidad y visita sus predios rurales para caracterizar los recursos hídricos y la biodiversidad in situ.  Los resultados de la investigación permitirán obtener nuevo conocimiento, útil para el diseño de estrategias pedagógicas que ayuden a la conservación de la biodiversidad y las fuentes hídricas, frente a los efectos del cambio climático. La búsqueda no se limitó por fecha de publicación, por idioma, ni por diseño del estudio.Resultados: se encontraron 27 publicaciones, de las cuales se incluyeron 7 que contenían recomendaciones para el manejo de pacientes con COVID-19 en las unidades renales.Conclusión: las estrategias de mitigación en las unidades renales deben estar encaminadas hacia la detección temprana de los pacientes con COVID-19, el control de la transmisión y la protección del personal de salud.
