A partir de ello se proponen estrategias para impulsar la implementación de la política climática nacional y, por consiguiente, la reducción de los impactos del cambio climático. El proceso metodológico consistió en una revisión de los instrumentos de la política de cambio climático estatal: 1) consulta de páginas web gubernamentales, 2) envío de solicitudes a través de la Plataforma Nacional de Transparencia, y 3) utilización de motores de búsqueda en internet. Se organizaron y se asignó un puntaje de acuerdo con el número de instrumentos. La suma equivalió al 100 % de cumplimiento y se dividió en cinco rangos (muy bajo, bajo, medio, alto y muy alto). La mayoría de los estados se encuentran en un nivel bajo y muy bajo de cumplimiento (63 %), once estados con un cumplimiento medio y uno con un cumplimiento muy alto. Se observó que hay un avance en ciertas entidades, pero hace falta desarrollar e impulsar la política de cambio climático a nivel estatal. El aporte principal de este análisis fue la determinación del nivel de cumplimiento para cada estado, reconociendo sus particularidades de cumplimiento. De este modo, habría que trabajar en propuestas que incrementasen la capacidad de ajuste de la población a un mundo muy diferente al actual (con menos recursos, pérdida de biodiversidad y cambio climático; en decrecimiento), porque ese es el mundo en el que vivirán quienes hoy están en la etapa de Educación Infantil.Se presenta así una experiencia realizada en un aula con niños y niñas de 3 años, en la que se ha utilizado el huerto escolar como eje central de una propuesta didáctica basada en el modelo de investigación escolar. Se realizó un estudio de caso en el ejido de San Andrés Hueyacatitla, municipio de San Salvador El Verde, estado de Puebla, donde las estrategias de reproducción de los grupos domésticos ejidales se centran en el manejo del bosque, las actividades agrícolas, así como el trabajo reproductivo y de cuidado. El objetivo fue conocer las afectaciones y estrategias de adaptación ante el cambio climático diferenciadas por género. Para la realización del estudio se tomó una muestra de 80 hombres y mujeres, integrantes de grupos domésticos con derechos ejidales. Se aplicó una encuesta y entrevistas semiestructuradas a informantes clave y se realizó observación participante. Se identificaron las afectaciones que los hombres y mujeres participantes en el estudio reconocen y experimentan de forma diferencial, las cuales son asociadas con la variabilidad del clima o cambio climático. Asimismo se detectó el desarrollo de estrategias de adaptación de acuerdo con sus asignaciones genéricas, conocimientos tradicionales y prácticas. Se encontró que los programas gubernamentales de conservación del bosque favorecen el desarrollo de estrategias de adaptación en los grupos domésticos ejidales para el manejo del bosque, lo cual sin embargo no disminuye plenamente la vulnerabilidad socioambiental en la zona de estudio.
