El estudio se centró en discutir el tema del trabajo infantil desde una perspectiva orientada en el sujeto; un tema altamente controvertido y marcado por las diversas emociones. El punto central son los propios niños trabajadores. Se analiza su trabajo primordialmente bajo el aspecto de los significados que tiene para ellos mismos. De hecho a pesar de muchos trabajos que aborda sobre los derechos del niño es frecuente ver en la televisión y en la prensa imágenes y artículos de niños trabajadores de países en desarrollo, mal alimentados y pobremente vestidos. En los albores del nuevo milenio, el trabajo que realizan estos desafortunados niños es un rasgo inaceptable de la vida de muchísimos países. La secuelas que más se ven son las edades de nuestra niñez quecorresponden para estar en los primeros grados de los centro escolares rurales y que muchas veces vemos que algunos padres le pone menor importancia a esa etapa ya que es muy fácil de manejar. A fin de que ellos logren terminar sus estudios y cuando lo termina lo hace con poca destreza y asimilación de contenidos básicos. Simultáneamente, algunos docente quiere ser parte de la solución a este flagelo; aunque la evaluación no son aplicada profesionalmente y esto incluyen que los niños prefieren trabajar que estudiar por lo que resulta una formación a largo plazo y con una dedicación muy esmerada por los actores que conforma la educación: padres, alumnos y docentes; sin poner fuera de contexto la ayuda de los gobierno.

El presente tuvo la finalidad de ampliar el conocimiento hidrogeoquímico del acuífero en la zona de la subcuenca del río Acahuapa, en el departamento de San Vicente. Se recolectaron muestras de 10 puntos en las aguas superficiales de la red hídrica de la subcuenca. Los muestreos se llevaron a cabo en la época seca y lluviosa durante el periodo comprendido de febrero de 2011 hasta agosto de 2012. Los parámetros analizados fueron datos de cationes (Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe total) y aniones (HCO-3, Cl-, SO-24, CaCO3-2), así como de carbonatos con el fin de determinar el balance de masa y flujo de gas CO2. Además, parámetros fisicoquímicos de temperatura, oxígeno disuelto, pH y conductividad eléctrica. Tales análisis son suficientes para el estudio de los principales procesos químicos en la mayoría de los acuíferos y sus relaciones con los sistemas hidrológicos. De forma general se concluyó que el comportamiento químico del acuífero en la subcuenca del río Acahuapa en ambas épocas lluviosa y seca, es similar, y que las familias de agua predominantes son bicarbonatadas magnésicas y cálcicas bicarbonatadas. Las aguas bicarbonatadas son malas para riego, debido a la fijación de iones en el terreno y creación de un medio alcalino.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo reflexionar desde una perspectiva crítica sobre las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) en la educación rural, tomando como antecedente, el poco acceso a estas nuevas tendencias y partiendo de que estos recursos no resuelven por sí solos los problemas o necesidades, sin embargo pueden generar respuestas a situaciones específicas que puedan surgir. También los proyectos institucionales, destinados a dotar de recursos tecnológicos y programas educativos a las escuelas, han tenido especial repercusión en el ámbito rural, contribuyendo a minimizar la brecha digital entre los contextos urbanos y rurales. Todos demandan mayor reconocimiento y apoyo tanto por parte de las instituciones públicas como de las familias, cuya implicación en los procesos innovadores que ellos impulsan es muy escasa. Sin embargo, algo más de la mitad de los docentes entrevistados que trabajan en escuelas rurales declara sentirse apoyado por sus compañeros de centro, mientras que el resto manifiesta tener que buscar dicho apoyo en colegas de otros centros.

The conformational states of a semiflexible polymer enclosed in a volume V:=ℓ3 are studied as stochastic realizations of paths using the stochastic curvature approach developed in [Rev. E 100, 012503 (2019)], in the regime whenever 3ℓ/ℓp>1, where ℓp is the persistence length. The cases of a semiflexible polymer enclosed in a cube and sphere are considered. In these cases, we explore the Spakowitz–Wang–type polymer shape transition, where the critical persistence length distinguishes between an oscillating and a monotonic phase at the level of the mean-square end-to-end distance. This shape transition provides evidence of a universal signature of the behavior of a semiflexible polymer confined in a compact domain.

En el Salvador no existe una Ley General que regule lo concerniente a la conservación, uso y calidad del agua como recurso esencial para la vida y para la bioeconomia del país dado que interviene en una cadena de procesos para la producción de alimentos y bebidas. Este análisis tiene como propósito identificar las fortalezas y debilidades en cuanto a garantizar la preservación y uso sostenido del recurso agua como un bien común al alcance de la humanidad sin ninguna limitante de orden económico, dado que son los estados y los pobladores los encargados de velar por la existencia y calidad de dicho recurso. La escasez de agua es considerada como un problema de orden hidrológico, pero que corresponde en mayor grado a un problema económico, dado que es un recurso limitado y que se utiliza en un 90% para actividades económicas y primordialmente para el consumo humano.

Phytophthora nicotianae is the pathogen that causes root and crown rot disease in open field paprika pepper crops of Extremadura (central-western Spain). A field experiment was established during spring, a period compatible with the pepper crop cycle in this region, to evaluate the effects of biofumigation with pellets of Brassica carinata defatted seed meal, at the rate recommended by the manufacturer (3 tons ha−1), on the survival and infectivity of P. nicotianae chlamydospores inoculum. Furthermore, three biofumigant rates (3, 6, and 20 tons ha−1) were assayed in laboratory experiments with natural soil inoculated with chlamydospores. In the field trial, the incorporation of pellets at 3 tons ha−1 did not produce remarkable changes in soil enzyme activity or soil properties. In both the field and laboratory tests, survival and infectivity in the biofumigated treatment at 3 tons ha−1 did not differ from those in the untreated control. On the contrary, the same rate added to autoclaved soil completely suppressed the inoculum, suggesting that the soil microbiota degrades B. carinata pellets before being effective against P. nicotianae. Increasing the recommended rate to 6 tons ha−1 decreased inoculum survival in the laboratory test and 20 tons ha−1 completely inhibited the inoculum, although the economic value of such a high rate application is a factor to be assessed. In phytotoxicity tests on radish and white mustard seeds with several concentrations (100, 50, 25, 10, 5, and 0%) of B. carinata pellets solution, no phytotoxic effect was observed with the two lowest concentrations, and no symptoms of phytotoxicity were found in the bioassays of pepper plants.

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo estudiar las variaciones relacionadas con la gran sequía invernal (GSI), la sequía intraestival (SI), la ocurrencia de heladas, golpes de calor y excesos de lluvia, aprovechando datos históricos disponibles de la localidad de Tamazula, Jalisco como un espacio dentro de un nicho; así mismo, comparar las variaciones antes y después de 1975, año tomado como referencia de la manifestación del último cambio climático según la Figura 2. El presente trabajo se basa en resultados presentados por especialistas en recursos hídricos sobre experiencias de los sectores más vulnerables a sequía y aquellos que demandan agua de calidad tomando como referencia las zonas cafetaleras del norte de Nicaragua. Con base a una recopilación de información existente así como de entrevistas y talleres participativos utilizando plataformas de dialogo territorial con el objetivo de identificar las trayectorias más probables que podrían disminuir la vulnerabilidad de los productores de café (Coffea arabica) al cambio y variabilidad climática. En las conclusiones del estudio mencionamos que la tecnología de producción de café multiestrato con banano es un tema ampliamente estudiado utilizando un enfoque que aplica herramientas de toma de decisión para manejar la productividad del sistema - manejo del recurso luz, ciclos de nutrientes y optimización del banano como cultivo secundario, entre otros. Es necesario desarrollar un proceso participativo innovador para mejorar la gestión de los recursos hídricos en comunidades cafetaleras para incrementar su capacidad de adaptación y resiliencia frente al cambio climático (variabilidad de las lluvias y las sequías).
