En este contexto, se evaluó la diversidad de la micoflora de dos sustratos orgánicos (suelo orgánico y lombricompuesto) y su efecto sobre el control del hongo Rhizoctonia solani. La diversidad de la micoflora de los sustratos se determinó a través del método de dilución de placas de Warcup, que permitió contar el número de colonias e identificar los hongos. Los aislamientos más abundantes de cada sustrato fueron seleccionados para realizar cultivos duales con Rhizoctonia solani. Se encontraron 16 aislamientos de hongos pertenecientes a tres ordenes y ocho géneros, incluyendo (Penicillium sp., Aspergillus sp., Fusarium sp. y Trichoderma harzianum Rifai). En el lombricompuesto se encontró una micoflora significativamente más abundante (P ≤0,05) que en el suelo orgánico. En los cultivos duales, T. harzianum presentó un porcentaje de inhibición de R. solani significativamente superior (P ≤0,05) al del resto de los hongos. Con la incorporación del lombricompuesto no se introdujeron nuevos hongos, pero sí se incrementaron las poblaciones existentes en la micoflora nativa. T. harzianum resultó ser el hongo de mayor crecimiento y mayor porcentaje de inhibición, lo que sugiere que es un controlador biológico de R. solani, y que es factible incorporarlo al suelo durante la preparación del mismo. Orlando, Aguirre C. Jaime Description An account of the resource In the river basin of the Tota lake (Boyacá) there are two differents zones related to the geomorphology, soil and climate. In the noreast zone the ecological conditions allow that the vegetation shows a greater cover; in the norwest zone on the other hand these conditions are very drastic, the floristic composition of vegetation is poor and generally speaking the landscape is of 'arid type'. The distribution of vegetation in the river basin is caused by topographic variations (altitude, reIief) and by differences of climate (temperature and solar radiation). Around the lake, the soil-content of water and nutrients, the physiography and the wind-action in some cases determine of the arrangement of plants-associations. These units of vegetation (associations) are described following the Zurich-Montpellier school and the rules and recomendations of the Code of Phytosociological Nomenclature (BARKMAN et at.. 1976). Among these units are the: forest of Alnus acuminata subsp. acuminata which grow on moist and marsh places around the lake and the sparse scrub with Hypericum ruscoides and Plantago monticola ond dry places. In the 'Páramo-región', the dense scrub with Brachyotum striqosum and Celamaqrostis effusa and the stemrosette communities with Espeletia lopezii were studied. The 'life-form' spectrum (RAUNKIAER, en BRAUN-BLANQUET, 1979) and the leaf characters (size, consistency, indumentation ) for each association also are provided. En la geomorfología y en el clima de la cuenca del lago de Tota, se diferencian dos regiones: nor-oriental y nor-occidental. En la primera las condiciones ecológicas son favorables y permiten una mayor cobertura y diversidad de la vegetación; la región nor-occidental por el contrario, esta sujeta a condiciones ecológicas drásticas, muestra una vegetación muy pobre y en general el paisaje es de tipo 'árido'. La preliminar caracterización de los suelos, indica que en su mayoría, estos son bastante pobres en nutrientes, muy desaturados, con pH ácidos y están sometidos a continuos lavados. La distribución de la vegetación en la cuenca, obedece esencialmente a variaciones topográficas (altitud, relieve) y a cambios climáticos asociados, como la temperatura y la radiación solar. En los alrededores de la masa de agua, entre 3.000 y 3.150 m, las fluctuaciones en el contenido de agua en el suelo, la calidad del sustrato en cuanto a nutrientes, la fisiografía y la acción del viento en casos muy particulares son los factores responsables de la disposición de las unidades de vegetación que se inventariaron. Estas unidades se estudiaron según las recomendaciones metodológicas de BRAUN-BLANQUET (1979) y comprenden desde el Viburno-Alnetum acuminatae o bosques marginales sobre sitios con buen contenido de agua en el suelo, a continuación de la vegetación de ribera o Polygono-Scirpion californici RANGEL &: AGUIRRE 1983, con dominio de Alnus acuminata subsp. acuminata, hasta el Plantaqini-Hypericetum Ruscoidis o matorrales ralos, sobre sitios pedregosos y muy secos. En la región paramuna, se inventariaron matorrales del Brachyoto-Calamaqrotietum effusae y 'frailejonales' con Espeletia lopezii. Las unidades de vegetación se describieron de acuerdo con el Código Internacional de Nomenclatura Fitosociológica (BARKMAN et al., 1976). Con el in de determinar los componentes del complejo de especies de R. solanacearum presentes en la región de Urabá, en esta investigación se realizó la caracterización genotípica de una población de R. solanacearum procedente de plantas de banano, arvenses y suelos de diversas plantaciones de esta zona. La evaluación se realizó mediante PCR múltiple y secuenciación de tres regiones del genoma (genes egl, liC y región 16S del ADNr). Los resultados indican que todas las cepas bacteriales estudiadas están asociadas al filotipo II, y en su mayoría pertenecen al secuevar 4, aunque en el caso de algunos aislamientos no fue posible su filiación con ninguno de los tres secuevares reportados para la raza 2. Dos aislamientos obtenidos del departamento del Magdalena, utilizados con fines comparativos, resultaron estar asociados al secuevar 6. Esta diversidad disciplinaria se deriva de la complejidad de situaciones estudiadas y es resultado de la dificultad en la definición de 'lo educativo' como un campo metodológico y teórico (Bertely, 2004). Una de estas situaciones complejas es la Educación Ambiental (EA), que atañe a esta investigación. El objetivo de este artículo es conocer los alcances y las limitaciones de la práctica de la EA para promover y construir una conciencia ambiental entre alumnos del Bachillerato, así como, estimular iniciativas proambientales. La aproximación metodológica adoptada es la Etnografía Institucional (EI) aplicada a la Educación Ambiental, la cual permitirá por un lado retratar la realidad lo más fidedigna posible, y por otro lado, adoptar este retrato a otras situaciones que ocurren en contextos institucionales similares. Entre los resultados encontramos que: (a) los docentes no tienen el perfil deseable para enseñar el curso de Ecología y ellos no tienen los conocimientos ambientales básicos; (b) el programa de estudios en la materia de Ecología ha sido creado de manera superficial y muy general; (c) el curso de Ecología es nominal y (d) la materia de Ecología es impartida en periodos de tiempo cortos y regida por una modalidad preferentemente teórica que práctica. En general, las limitaciones formativas de los docentes y las debilidades de los contenidos programáticos de la materia restringen abordar con interés y dimensionar la problemática ambiental. En consecuencia, se genera en el alumnado una formación sin actitudes y valores ambientales. El profesorado fracasa en su intención de lograr generar estudiantes con conciencia ambiental, propósito central de la materia de Ecología. No solamente debiera el Gobierno interesarse en el cultivo y sostenimiento del animal por su carne y lana, sino que debiera hacer un esfuerzo por obtener un sistema equitativo y económico de manufacturar el abono orgánico, y una vez sometido a los correspondientes procesos de fermentación, darle facilidad a los papicultores de la zona del páramo para que hagan utilización del producto en sus cultivos.  En la “Granja de Termales” haría el Gobierno Nacional una importante labor, de resultados muy directos, estudiando la manera de establecer un sistema práctico y económico de estercoleros en los cuales se pueda hacer una preparación del estiércol por lo menos en un lapso de 3 a 3 meses y medio. Las condiciones del suelo en su parte física y en su contenido de acidez, deja un margen de seguridad al éxito del abono en las zonas donde el cultivo de la papa prospera con perspectivas halagüeñas. La majada de oveja es acreedora a condiciones extraordinarias como fertilizante, factor que induce al pueblo francés a tener una gran predilección de su empleo en las prácticas del sistema intensivo de manejo del vegetal; la gran experiencia de este pueblo en su manejo, es el factor que lo acredita para ser considerado como uno de los mejores fertilizantes de origen orgánico. The first one is concerned with the elements of the Latin-American environmental history which could set off an insight into the theoretical field of Political Ecology. Foram utilizadas armadilhas luminosas modelo “Luiz de Queiroz” com lâmpadas Bl-15 wats. Essas armadilhas foram ligadas por 12 horas em dois dias consectivos num total de 24 horas de coletas semanais. Coletaram-se 1.474 cerambicídeos, agrupados em 39 gêneros e 49 espécies. Acanthoderes jaspidea, Achryson surinamum, Chlorida festiva, Eurodacrys sexgutatta, Gnomibidion fulvipes, Lophopoeum timbouve, Megacyllene acuta, Rhopalophora collaris e Trichophorus distinctus foram as espécies classificadas como muito abundantes. Das espécies coletadas, 48,98 % foram classificadas como raras, 12,24 % como dispersas, 20,41 % como comuns e 18,37 % como muito abundantes. Dentre os 39 gêneros, Oreodera foi representado por três espécies (6,13 %), os gêneros Acanthoderes, Aerenica, Chrysoprasis, Colobothea, Eutrypanus, Megacylene, Myoxomorpha e Nyssodrysternum por duas espécies (4,08 %), e os demais gêneros por apenas uma espécie. It was studied the relative abundance to the species of the family Cerambycidae (Insecta-Coleoptera) in a mixed orchard composed by 28 diferent species in the period from decembre 1997 to may 1999 in Ceres, state of Goiás, Brazil. It was used light traps “Luiz de Queiroz” model with BL 15 wats lamps. These traps were turned on for 12 hours during 2 days in a total of 24 hours of week collets. It was collected a total of 1474 Cerambycidae, agruped in 39 genera and 49 species. From the 49 species collected Acanthoderes jaspidea, Achryson surinamum, Chlorida festiva, Eurodacrys sexgutatta, Gnomibidion fulvipes, Lophopoeum timbouve, Megacyllene acuta, Rhopalophora collaris e Trichophorus distinctus were classified as very abundant. From the collected species 48,98 % were classified as raras, 12,24% as disperse, 20,41% as commons and 18,37 % as very abundant. Among the 39 genera Oreodera was represented by 3 species and the genera Acanthoderes, Aerenica, Chrysoprasis, Colobothea, Eutrypanus, Megacylene, Myoxomorpha and Nyssodrysternum by 2 species (4,08 %) , while the other genera wera represented by one species only.
