El sector camaronero es uno de los más dinámicos dentro de la economía del país, en los últimos años ha aumentado su contribución al Producto Interno Bruto (PIB). El objetivo del presente trabajo es determinar exportaciones del camarón ecuatoriano tomando en cuenta los factores preponderantes que han hecho que este sector se vea afectado tanto de manera positiva como negativa. Se realizó mediante un diseño no experimental, descriptivo, donde se recopiló información estadística del sector camaronero. Se utilizó el Método de Diferencia de Medias. El resultado obtenido indica que, para el 2024 se dispondrá una demanda de alrededor de 1925 millones de libras de camarón blanco, además por concepto de exportaciones el país tendrá ingresos para el 2024 de cerca de 4572 millones de dólares americanos. Esto se corresponderá con el incremento de mercado y por tanto la consecuente demanda del producto para consumo humano con el fin de satisfacer las necesidades y garantizar de mejor manera la seguridad alimentaria, este pronóstico permitió determinar el crecimiento de las granjas camaroneras y el potencial de demanda de los destinos de comercialización. Palabras clave: Exportación, precio, regresión, consumidor.   In this work, we proceeded to estimate the shrimp export demand in Ecuador for the year 2019. The shrimp sector is one of the most dynamic within the country's economy, in recent years it has increased its contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The objective of this work is to determine exports of Ecuadorian shrimp taking into account the preponderant factors that have caused this sector to be affected both positively and negatively. It was carried out through a non-experimental, descriptive design, where statistical information from the shrimp sector was collected. The Media Difference Method was used. The result obtained indicates that by 2024 there will be a demand of around 1,925 million pounds of white shrimp, in addition to exports, the country will have income by 2024 of about 4,572 million US dollars. This will correspond to the increase in the market and therefore the consequent demand for the product for human consumption in order to meet the needs and better guarantee food security, this forecast will determine the growth of shrimp farms and the potential demand of the marketing destinations. Os fertilizantes utilizados no experimento foram MAP e BIOfertilizante (BIO). A pesquisa foi conduzida a partir de um experimento em campo e em análises de laboratório. O experimento de campo consistiu em se aplicar doses crescentes de P2O5-MAP (145, 290, 435, 580 e 725 kg/ha) correspondentes a 75, 150, 225, 300 e 375 kg/ha de P2O5 e BIO (415, 830, 1245 e 1660 kg/ha), correspondentes a 50, 100, 150 e 200 kg/ha de P2O5. Foram medidas produtividade, e componentes de produção. Verificou-se que o P2O5 – MAP aumentou todas as variáveis,enquanto o BIO não proporcionou efeito significativo, embora não ter sido diferente das fontes de MAP dentro das doses de P2O5. Sugere-se, em função dos resultados obtidos, que sejam estudados com mais detalhes ensaios de campo visando estabelecer correlações com diferentes fontes de fósforo e calibração dos resultados com doses de fósforo consideradas economicamente viáveis para adubações fosfatadas. González Dufau, Arnulfo Monzón, Julio Santamaría Guerra, Ulfredo Santo, Sindy Caballero, Kathia Castrejon, Marco Sanjur Description An account of the resource La broca del café, Hypothenemus hampei (Ferrari) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Scolytinae) es la principal plaga del cultivo del café (Coffea spp.) y colonizó recientemente este cultivo en la comarca Ngäbe-Buglè. Una de las alternativas de manejo de esta plaga es a través de sus enemigos naturales, por lo que el objetivo de este estudio fue caracterizar morfofisiológica y molecularmente aislados de hongos entomopatógenos nativos, colectados en la comarca Ngäbe-Buglè y seleccionar los más promisorios, para su inclusión en programas de manejo agroecológico de plagas. La identificación molecular se hizo mediante la secuenciación de la región del espaciador transcrito interno (ITS, del inglés Internal Transcribed Spacer) (ITS 1 y 2 incluyendo 5.8 S). Se identificaron 13 aislados pertenecientes a Beauveria bassiana (Vullevein), y un aislado de Purpureocillium lilacinum (Thom) Luangsa-ard, Hou- braken, Hywel-Jones & Samson. Adicionalmente, se incluyó un aislado (RS-Ij006) de Isaria javanica (= Cordyceps javanica (Frieder. & Bally) Samson & Hywel-Jones) de la colección de hongos entomopatógenos del Laboratorio de Entomología del IDIAP, David, para la determinación de las características morfológicas. Para la determinación de las características morfológicas se utilizaron tres medios de cultivo: Papa-Dextrosa-Agar, Malta-Dextrosa Agar y Sabouraud-Dextrosa-Agar. Se evaluó la mortalidad y se obtuvo el Tiempo Letal Medio (TL50)). Los mayores porcentajes de mortalidad de H. hampei, al día 15 después de la inoculación, se observaron con los aislamientos RS-Ij006 y D-Bb1400 con 100 %; seguidos por D-Bb1398 con 98.90 % y D-Bb1350 con 93.3 %. Los menores registros del TL50 se obtuvieron con los aislados de D-1388 (Purpureocillium lilacinum) con 3.52 días y RS-Ij006 con 3.98 días, seguidos por D-Bb1350 con 6.58 días. Los aislados a los que el insecto presentó menor susceptibilidad fueron D-1391, D-1399, D-Bb1397, D-Bb1412 y D-Bb1395, D-Bb1392, estos necesitaron más tiempo para alcanzar el 100 % de mortalidad de adultos de H. hampei y el TL50 fue superior a 11 días.
