Por su parte, la hipótesis de la 'oncogénesis adaptativa' parece adecuarse de manera más realística a las complejas relaciones ecológicas que se establecen entre las células malignas, las células normales y el microambiente celular; capaces de originar fenómenos tan 'inadmisibles', como la cooperación de células normales en la progresión tumoral o la adopción por parte de las células malignas de estrategias evolutivamente estables. De hecho, la oncogénesis adaptativa incluso puede ser extendida al nivel del 'macroambiente' poblacional y social. Para la evaluación de los recursos hídricos se instalaron dos estaciones meteorológicas y se realizaron aforos de los ríos de las subcuencas a nivel mensual desde octubre 2018 a septiembre 2019 y se aplicaron los modelos hidrológicos SWAT (Soil & Water Assessment Tools) y WEAP (Water Evaluation & Planning). Construidos los modelos de las cuencas, la mayoría se logró calibrar y validar, de manera preliminar, a excepción de tan solo dos cuencas, las cuales obtuvieron un coeficiente de Nash menores a 0,5. Sobre dicha base, se procedió a simular la disponibilidad de agua en escenarios de cambio climático, demostrando una tendencia a disminuir los caudales y a la sensibilidad que presenta esta región al cambio de clima, así como la respuesta hidrológica del propio Lago Moa a dicha oferta temporal. Estos estudios deben permitir declarar dichas cuencas como áreas de protección, para frenar y evitar la explotación forestal y, por el contrario, fomentar las actividades hidro-eco-productivas y de protección del ecosistema, facilitando a corto plazo una Estrategia de Gestión Integrada de Recursos Hídricos con base a los resultados obtenidos en esta investigación. Emergent properties can measure the ecosystem maturity. These properties do not do causal work but they influence the system development and they can be shown as goal functions that indicate the health of ecosystems. In this paper, two goal functions are detailed: ascendency and overhead. The origin of them is the Information Theory. Ascendency shows the degree of system order while overhead quantifies the disorder component. Although, systems tend to order increasing ascendency, a certain disorder degree is indispensable to sustain the order. Ascendency and overhead are described mathematically and the calculations are exemplified through a hypothetical ecosystem. A partir de los beneficios de los inoculantes micorrízicos y los abonos verdes se evaluó su integración con los objetivos de establecer esquemas de suministro de nutrientes más eficientes, que garanticen rendimientos altos con menores cantidades de fertilizantes y ser una vía para la micorrización efectiva de los cultivos. Métodos. Se evaluó la respuesta de canavalia a la inoculación de 3 cepas de HMA en 8 condiciones edáficas, así como se ejecutaron 11 experimentos de integración de los abonos verdes inoculados como precedentes o intercalados en los esquemas de suministro de nutrientes de yuca, banano, tabaco, maíz, tomate, cafeto y king-grass. Además, se estudió la coinoculación HMA y rizobios. Resultados. La canavalia respondió positivamente a la inoculación micorrízica, con incrementos promedios en biomasa, contenidos de NPK y propágulos micorrízicos entre 50 % y 300 %. La efectividad de las cepas dependió del pH del suelo. La canavalia inoculada y utilizada como precedente o intercalada se integró exitosamente en los esquemas de suministro de nutrientes de los cultivos, garantizando rendimientos altos, funcionamiento micorrízico efectivo y disminuyendo entre 25 % y 75 % los requerimientos de fertilizantes. La coinoculación incrementó la potencialidad de la canavalia. Llegamos a la consclusión de que la canavalia inoculada resultó una vía satisfactoria para el manejo efectivo de la simbiosis micorrízica, permitiendo tecnologías de producción agropecuaria más eficientes y con menores cantidades de insumos. Raina Macintyre Description An account of the resource Abstract Background With the spread of SARS-CoV-2 worldwide, understanding the basic epidemiological parameter values of COVID-19 from real-world data in mega-cities is essential for disease prevention and control. Methods To investigate the epidemiological parameters in SARS-CoV-2 infected cases in Beijing, we studied all confirmed cases and close contacts in Beijing from Jan 1st to Apr 3rd 2020. The epidemiological and virological characteristics of SARS-CoV-2 were analyzed. Results A total of 602 cases were positive for SARS-CoV-2, including 585 confirmed patients and 17 asymptomatic infections. The imported cases were mainly from Wuhan initially and then from abroad. Among 585 confirmed case-patients, the median age was 39 years old. The mean incubation period was 6.3 days. The secondary attack rate among households was higher than social contacts (15.6 vs 4.6%). The secondary attack rate of healthcare workers (HCWs) was higher than non-HCWs’ (7.3 vs 4.2%). The basic reproduction number was 2.0, and the average serial interval was 7.6 days. No significant genetic variant was identified. Conclusions The transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2 was relatively high, especially among households and from HCWs, which draws specific public health attention. So far, no evidence of widespread circulation of SARS-CoV-2 in communities in Beijing was found.
