Dessa forma, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito do arranjo de plantas de milho e da densidade de semeadura no rendimento de grãos e na massa de mil grãos, bem como na incidência de podridões da base do colmo, grãos ardidos e de fungos associados aos grãos. O estudo foi realizado nas safras 2010/2011 e 2012/2013, em Chapecó, SC, Brasil. Os tratamentos foram constituídos por diferentes espaçamentos entre linhas (0,45 e 0,80 m) e densidades de plantas (50, 60, 70, 80 e 90 mil plantas ha-1), com delineamento de blocos casualizados em esquema de parcelas sub-subdivididas. Na parcela principal foram testados dois híbridos simples de milho de ciclo precoce (P30F53H e DKB 240H), nas subparcelas os espaçamentos e nas sub-subparcelas as populações de plantas. As unidades experimentais consistiram de seis linhas de 4 m de comprimento. O rendimento de grãos no espaçamento 0,45 m foi 29,65% superior ao obtido no espaçamento 0,80 m para os híbridos estudados. A massa de mil grãos e a incidência de grãos ardidos reduziram com o aumento da população de plantas. No entanto, a incidência de Fusarium verticillioides, Fusarium graminearum e Stenocarpella maydis não foi influenciada pelas populações de plantas nem pelos espaçamentos testados nas condições do presente estudo. Assim, o trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a influência da temperatura e da luminosidade na germinação de sementes de três genótipos de pitaia. Para avaliar o efeito da temperatura na qualidade fisiológica das sementes foram utilizadas as espécies Selenicereus setaceus (pitaia-do-cerrado), Hylocereus undatus (casca vermelha e polpa branca) e Hylocereus polyrhizus (casca vermelha rosada e polpa vermelha) submetidas à germinação em sete temperaturas (15 °C, 20 °C, 25 °C, 30 °C e 35 °C, e em temperaturas alternadas: 15-25 ºC e 20-30 ºC, todas com fotoperíodo de 12 horas). As avaliações realizadas foram: porcentagem de germinação, índice de velocidade de germinação e tempo para ocorrência de 50% de germinação. Para a avaliação da influência da luminosidade, as sementes foram acondicionadas em frasco envolto por papel alumínio, a fim de proteger as sementes de qualquer contato com luminosidade, e armazenadas em refrigerador em temperatura de 10 ± 2 °C por 365 dias. Após, foram submetidas ao tratamento com e sem luz e mantidas em BOD por 11 dias, quando se realizou a contagem das plântulas normais. As temperaturas para o máximo desempenho fisiológico das sementes das três espécies de pitaia foram de 25 °C e 20-30 ºC. Por outro lado, a temperatura mais desfavorável foi de 35 °C. A espécie Selenicereus setaceus apresentou maior percentual de germinação e vigor em todas as temperaturas avaliadas. As espécies avaliadas demonstraram ser fotoblásticas positivas. El herbario etnoarqueológico, muestrario e histoteca que integran la colección del Herbario JUA están compuestos, por un lado, de ejemplares de cultivos andinos provenientes de la agricultura familiar a pequeña escala en el sector centro y centro-sur de la Quebrada de Humahuaca. Por otro lado, incluye productos procesados a partir de estos cultivos (harinas, semillas tostadas, mote, entre otros), los cuales fueron obtenidos en ferias y mercados de la región. Como parte fundamental del trabajo, relevamos toda la información pertinente en una base de datos digital en la cual recuperamos y sistematizamos la información referida a los taxa andinos con usos alimenticios, así como los saberes y prácticas vinculadas a su procesamiento culinario, formas de servicio y consumo. El muestrario y el herbario se completan con su contraparte a nivel histológico microscópico, la colección de referencia de granos de almidón y fitolitos de los cultivos andinos y sus productos. Estas muestras se analizaron y describieron con los protocolos de descripción e identificación utilizados en las investigaciones arqueobotánicas. Además de la utilidad de este material de referencia para el estudio arqueobotánico, su descripción y registro nos permite no sólo su catalogación en el patrimonio del Herbario JUA, sino que también aporta a la valorización del patrimonio biocultural comunitario. A literature review of traditional foods was conducted that examined the conceptual development of the term. Social network analysis (SNA) was also used to identify the most relevant definitions and working groups on the topic. Twenty-three definitions were identified in the period 1995–2019. It reveals the difficulty of establishing one that encompasses such a dynamic concept. Although there is variability in the specific characteristics of these foods, four dimensions have been established: time, place, know-how, and cultural meaning. It was found that their main characteristic is the transmission of knowledge and raw materials between generations. The conceptualization of the term has been developed mainly in Europe, based on the perspective of consumers. New trends in research include the contrast and complementarity of innovation in traditional foods and the difference between these products and those named with similar attributes such as typical, regional, ethnic, local, among others. Social network analysis (SNA) was used to study the definitions of a concept, something that had not been done with this approach. Suggestions are made for possible research on the subject, such as the conceptual delimitation of related terms and the compatibility between innovation and tradition. Se analizaron enfoques de desarrollo, desde las diferentes posturas de pensamientos y las estrategias apropiadas para el desarrollo de una seguridad alimentaria y el nivel de compromiso de los involucrados en la implementación del Plan Maestro y avance en el proceso de implementación El objetivo de este artículo es desarrollar una aplicación que integre tecnologías de inteligencia artificial, aprendizaje automático y computación en la nube para reducir las posibilidades del usuario de padecer la enfermedad de Alzheimer en el futuro. Entre las expectativas con respecto a la aplicación se encuentra que pueda recopilar datos sobre los factores de riesgo más comunes en los pacientes de Alzheimer como el nivel educativo, los niveles hormonales y nutricionales y los hábitos de vida (tabaquismo, sedentarismo, alcohol, etc.) para prevenir el Alzheimer. También se espera que pueda determinar el nivel de peligro y los principales factores de riesgo que el usuario debe conocer. Este software seguirá ejecutándose en la computación en la nube para garantizar que siempre esté sincronizado con las bases de datos que contienen los factores descritos anteriormente, como MEDLINE, PubMed, AlzForum (ALZRISK) y ADNI. Los principales resultados al analizar las trayectorias de las variables en general son cortos, pero tienden a mejorar. Se observaron dos grupos: uno de países bien posicionados frente a las variables “necesidades básicas” y “desarrollo personal y social” (Norteamérica), y el segundo, de países con trayectorias de comportamiento irregular, con poca estabilidad y con una tendencia de caída en los últimos periodos en análisis (Centro, Sudamérica y Caribe). El método Biplot dinámico demuestra ser un nuevo enfoque para el procesamiento de datos de tres vías y provee resultados fáciles de representar e interpretar.
