Partiendo de distintos abordajes teóricos sobre los mercados, el artículo analiza las formas de comercialización de los fruticultores familiares del noreste de la provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina). El área reviste particular interés por conformar un sistema productivo local que experimenta desde hace varios años un proceso de retracción, en contraposición a la expansión del cultivo de la soja orientada a los mercados mundiales. El análisis considera el contenido de los vínculos establecidos y la composición de los capitales como condicionantes de la inserción en los mercados, y visualiza a éstos como ámbitos de interacción social donde se construyen nuevas relaciones. Argumenta que en los productores familiares la diversificación de canales comerciales refuerza a la encontrada en el plano productivo, y que los circuitos dominados por grandes empresas y los mercados locales no constituyen alternativas mutuamente excluyentes para este tipo de productores sino complementarias.

El artículo tiene como propósito avanzar en la caracterización de los circuitos cortos de comercialización en la Argentina y sus alcances para el afianzamiento de la producción familiar diversificada y su reconexión con el territorio. La metodología empleada es fundamentalmente cualitativa y se basa en dos estudios de caso.Si bien los circuitos analizados presentan diferencias en sus modalidades, organización interna, acceso a capacitación y asesoramiento, y en cuanto a los procesos que generaron su conformación, coinciden en sustentar prácticas productivas que implican un menor uso de insumos químicos, favorecen el desarrollo de nuevas habilidades y una mayor apropiación del valor generado por parte de los productores. Abstract SARS-CoV-2 is a novel β-coronavirus that caused the COVID-19 pandemic disease, which spread rapidly, infecting more than 134 million people, and killing almost 2.9 million thus far. Based on the urgent need for therapeutic and prophylactic strategies, the identification and characterization of antibodies has been accelerated, since they have been fundamental in treating other viral diseases. Here, we summarized in an integrative manner the present understanding of the immune response and physiopathology caused by SARS-CoV-2, including the activation of the humoral immune response in SARS-CoV-2 infection and therefore, the synthesis of antibodies. Furthermore, we also discussed about the antibodies that can be generated in COVID-19 convalescent sera and their associated clinical studies, including a detailed characterization of a variety of human antibodies and identification of antibodies from other sources, which have powerful neutralizing capacities. Accordingly, the development of effective treatments to mitigate COVID-19 is expected. Finally, we reviewed the challenges faced in producing potential therapeutic antibodies and nanobodies by cell factories at an industrial level while ensuring their quality, efficacy, and safety.

URABÁ 1960-2004 By acknowledging the diversity of the Urabá region, present in the coexistence of its multiple territorialities (ethnic minorities, rural groups, urban and agroindustrial territories), the article inquires about the different ways in which the armed conflict is expressed, articulated and characterized throughout the region. The interpretational frame seeks to integrate the elements that take part in the generation of those territorialities (the cultures, the state, the armed actors, their diverging interests and unequal powers), as well as the spatiotemporal changes undergone by the armed confl ict. It gives an account of the tensions that arose between the territorialities and the armed actors in the years 1960-2004, from the intervention of the guerilla movements in various settlement processes, to the ruptures and rearrangements suffered by the territorialities with the incursion of the paramilitary in the region. Aunque muchas poblaciones indígenas y campesinas están particularmente expuestas a los impactos del cambio climático y son vulnerables, algunas comunidades están activamente respondiendo al clima cambiante y han demostrado innovación y resiliencia, utilizando una diversidad de estrategias para enfrentar las sequías, inundaciones, huracanes, etc. En este artículo argumentamos que los sistemas agrícolas tradicionales ofrecen una amplia gama de opciones y diseños de manejo que incrementan la biodiversidad funcional en los campos de cultivo, y por consiguiente, refuerzan la resiliencia de los agroecosistemas. Muchas de las estrategias agroecológicas tradicionales que reducen la vulnerabilidad a la variabilidad climática incluyen la diversificación de cultivos, el mantenimiento de la diversidad genética local, la integración animal, la adición de materia orgánica al suelo, la cosecha de agua, etc. Varios agroecólogos han descifrado los principios agroecológicos que subyacen a estas estrategias, los cuales se pueden adaptar tomando diferentes formas tecnológicas (de acuerdo al tamaño de las fincas) para diseñar sistemas agrícolas modernos que se tornen cada vez más resilientes a los extremos climáticos.

El artículo tuvo como objetivo Implementar las zonas de orientación universitaria para la mitigación y prevención del uso y abuso de la farmacodependencia mixta en la universidad de La Guajira. Colombia. Metodológicamente, esta investigación es de tipo descriptivo, con enfoque cuantitativo; diseño no experimental, transeccional y de campo. La población fue 100 estudiantes. Se concluye que se requiere de alianzas estratégicas mediante la aplicabilidad de la política nacional de drogas, descritas en el modelo de inclusión social, para generar un impacto integrador teniendo en cuenta las disposiciones del marco de participación de los actores sociales mediante un proceso de sensibilización, lo cual permitirá abordar las problemática teniendo en cuenta las directrices y lineamientos existentes dentro de los esquemas propios de la política pública.

Actualmente los países compradores de insumos y mercancías exigen calidad además de valor agregado, lo cual implica adecuar conocimientos y tecnología para obtener productos agrícolas que sean competitivos en el comercio internacional. Dentro de esta tendencia surgieron las Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas (BPA) y las normas sobre Responsabilidad Social, que a través de los sistemas de certificación ayudan a demostrar formalmente el cumplimiento de este “buen hacer”. En el presente trabajo se pretende analizar y difundir que la implementación de Sistemas de Gestión de la Calidad (SGC), especialmente las Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas (BPA) y las normas sobre Responsabilidad Social, son complementarias para cumplir con lo estipulado en el Derecho Ambiental aplicable al ámbito agrícola argentino. Su importancia radica en que la protección, preservación y la consagración del derecho al ambiente sano antes de la reforma de la Constitución Nacional de 1994 se interpretaba dentro de los derechos implícitos del artículo 33 de la misma. La reforma significó un hito histórico en lo relativo a la evolución del Derecho Ambiental, ya que se incorporó, dentro del capítulo segundo titulado “Nuevos derechos y garantías”, el artículo 41; en éste, se estableció el derecho a un ambiente sano, equilibrado, apto para el desarrollo humano y se relaciona de forma directa con otros derechos, como: gozar de calidad de vida, al desarrollo, a la salud, a la propiedad, e información, entre otros.

Ecuador has been one of the most affected countries by the Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic, by April 2020 this country presented the highest rates of mortality in Latin America. The purpose of the present study was to identify behaviors during confinement and sociodemographic variables associated with the mental health status of confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients who were part of the epidemiological surveillance program in Ecuador that included mandatory confinement and self-isolation. A cross-sectional study was performed from March 22th to April 18th, 2020 using an online survey. The survey collected socio-demographic information and severity of depressive symptoms using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 and anxiety symptoms through the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7. A total of 759 patients completed the questionnaire, 20.3% presented moderate to severe symptoms of depression and 22.5% moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety. Being a woman and from the Coastal region were risk factors. Exercising, maintaining daily routines, and keeping informed about the COVID-19 but limiting to an hour was associated with better mental health. Regression analysis indicated that the mentioned behaviors explained approximately 17% of the variance for depression sum scores and 11.8% of the variance for anxiety sum scores while controlling for gender and region. Understanding the association between sociodemographic variables and psychological states in patients with COVID-19 is relevant to tackle future public mental health problems and to implement health policies that are intended to palliate further psychiatric complications. Ecuador has been one of the most affected countries by the Corona Virus Disease 19 (COVID-19) pandemic, by April 2020 this country presented the highest rates of mortality in Latin America. The purpose of the present study was to identify behaviors during confinement and sociodemographic variables associated with the mental health status of confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients who were part of the epidemiological surveillance program in Ecuador that included mandatory confinement and self-isolation. A cross-sectional study was performed from March 22th to April 18th, 2020 using an online survey. The survey collected socio-demographic information and severity of depressive symptoms using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 and anxiety symptoms through the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7. A total of 759 patients completed the questionnaire, 20.3% presented moderate to severe symptoms of depression and 22.5% moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety. Being a woman and from the Coastal region were risk factors. Exercising, maintaining daily routines, and keeping informed about the COVID-19 but limiting to an hour was associated with better mental health. Regression analysis indicated that the mentioned behaviors explained approximately 17% of the variance for depression sum scores and 11.8% of the variance for anxiety sum scores while controlling for gender and region. Understanding the association between sociodemographic variables and psychological states in patients with COVID-19 is relevant to tackle future public mental health problems and to implement health policies that are intended to palliate further psychiatric complications.
