A partir de ello se proponen estrategias para impulsar la implementación de la política climática nacional y, por consiguiente, la reducción de los impactos del cambio climático. El proceso metodológico consistió en una revisión de los instrumentos de la política de cambio climático estatal: 1) consulta de páginas web gubernamentales, 2) envío de solicitudes a través de la Plataforma Nacional de Transparencia, y 3) utilización de motores de búsqueda en internet. Se organizaron y se asignó un puntaje de acuerdo con el número de instrumentos. La suma equivalió al 100 % de cumplimiento y se dividió en cinco rangos (muy bajo, bajo, medio, alto y muy alto). La mayoría de los estados se encuentran en un nivel bajo y muy bajo de cumplimiento (63 %), once estados con un cumplimiento medio y uno con un cumplimiento muy alto. Se observó que hay un avance en ciertas entidades, pero hace falta desarrollar e impulsar la política de cambio climático a nivel estatal. El aporte principal de este análisis fue la determinación del nivel de cumplimiento para cada estado, reconociendo sus particularidades de cumplimiento. STEINAKER Description An account of the resource La demanda global de alimentos estimula el aumento de la producción agro-ganadera para garantizar la disponibilidad alimentaria pero, a la vez, plantea desafíos en cuanto al aumento en las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. Existen claras evidencias que la ganadería bovina contribuye de forma importante, directa e indirectamente, a estas emisiones. Sin embargo, no es claro el aporte relativo de los diferentes subsistemas de producción ganaderos, como la cría, la recría y la terminación o engorde. En este trabajo, estimamos las emisiones de metano (CH 4 ) y óxido nitroso (N 2 O) que producen los subsistemas de cría, recría y terminación en un sistema ganadero típico de la región central Argentina, en la provincia de San Luis. Para estas esti - maciones, se utilizó el nivel 2 de la metodología recomendada por el Grupo Intergubernamental de Expertos sobre el Cambio Climático (IPCC, 2006). Las emisiones promedio para todo el sistema fueron de 1.500 kg eq-CO 2 por animal al año. De este total, el 76% corresponden a las emisiones de CH 4 y el 24% a las emisiones de N 2 O. En los subsistemas de cría y recría, la mayor emisión de gases también corresponde a CH 4 , pero en la etapa de terminación es mayor la emisión de N 2 O. En la cría, la categoría vaca en lactancia fue la que tuvo mayor cantidad de emisiones de CH 4 (2.407 eq-CO 2 /animal), seguida de la categoría toros (2.306 eq- CO 2 /animal); en la recría, los novillos fueron las categorías que mayor emisión de CH 4 (1.100 eq-CO 2 /animal) y N 2 O (324 eq-CO 2 /animal) produjeron. En terminación, emitieron mayor cantidad de N 2 O la vaca cut (vaca criando último ternero) (728 eq-CO 2 /animal) seguida de la categoría toro (549 eq-CO 2 /animal). Con el análisis de regresión de mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS) se observó una estrecha relación entre las variables predictoras (consumo del animal y peso), como así también las variables respuestas (CH 4 y N 2 O). A su vez, el CH 4 es la variable que más se asocia a las variables de clasificación (subsistemas ganaderos) observándose mayor relación con la cría. Estas emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero producidas por el ganado bovino podrían reducirse aplicando distintas estrategias tecnológicas: i) vinculadas a la alimentación manejando la dieta de los rumiantes; ii) relativas a la composición del rodeo realizando una exhaustiva selección de catego - rías evitando animales improductivos; iii) observando la salud del animal y iv) procurando ajustar la genética del animal al ambiente y al producto que se quiera obtener. El objetivo del estudio fue calcular el carbono almacenado en la biomasa vegetal y suelo para luego determinar la composición lignocelulósica de la madera en plantaciones de teca a los seis años en el estado de Nayarit, México. En tres plantaciones se colectó información dendrométrica y biomasa de 75 árboles, también de mantillo y suelo para determinar sus propiedades. Las diferencias fueron significativas (p≤0.0001) al comparar la plantación de mayor y menor crecimiento en DAP (54 %), altura (51.3 %) y área basal (78.7 %) siendo los suelos de mejor pH (6.2); así como el rendimiento en biomasa aérea (59.4 %), carbono en la teca (60.2 %), mantillo (30.3 %) y suelo (41.9 %) por superficie, sin diferencias en los contenidos lignocelulares. Se recomienda estudiar las raíces y nutrientes del suelo pues condicionan la eficiencia de la teca en torno al cambio climático.
