Por lo anteriormente descrito, se presenta la necesidad de realizar una investigación cuantitativa con la finalidad de evaluar un bioestimulante de Urtica dioica L. para estimular la producción de esta hortaliza de hoja.  Los bioestimulantes son sustancias de origen vegetal que tienen la finalidad de activar diferentes procesos fisiológicos, como el incremento de la fotosíntesis y la producción de diferentes hormonas que actúan sobre la elongación de las células de la planta (Montano et ál. 2008). Para la presente investigación se extrajo por destilación de barrido de alcohol el bioestimulante de ortiga. Lo anterior con la finalidad de obtener los principios activos de esta urticaceae. De manera simultánea, se implementó en campo un sistema productivo de lechuga con 2 tratamientos: To = Testigo absoluto y T1 = Bioestimulante, junto con 3 repeticiones en un diseño de bloques.  Las variables evaluadas fueron: peso fresco a la cosecha, peso seco y porcentaje de materia seca. Con los datos arrojados se calculó: media, moda, mediana y desviación estándar, además se realizó un análisis por cuartiles y rango intercuartílico con la finalidad de observar la normalidad de los datos. Como resultado, se obtuvo una media superior de un 14 % en peso seco y fresco con el bioestimulante, pero no se presenta diferencia estadísticamente significativa frente al porcentaje de materia seca. Na maturação das culturas consociadas foram quantificados rendimento de grãos e seus componentes. Dentre os nutrientes avaliados somente os teores foliares de Ca, P e Zn em feijoeiro-comum e mamoneira sob consórcio foram influenciados pelos tratamentos testados. A adubação fosfatada promoveu acréscimos de rendimento de feijoeiro-comum e mamoneira em sistema consorciado. The main objective of the study was to analyze the trend and forecast the spread of COVID-19 and to develop an appropriate statistical forecast model. Data on the daily spread between 13 March, 2020 and 31 August 2020 were collected for the development of the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model. Stationarity testing, parameter testing and model diagnosis were performed. In addition, candidate models were obtained using autocorrelation function (ACF) and partial autocorrelation functions (PACF). Finally, the fitting, selection and prediction accuracy of the ARIMA models was evaluated using the RMSE and MAPE model selection criteria. A total of 51,910 confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported from 13 March to 31 August 2020. The total recovered and death rates as of 31 August 2020 were 37.2% and 1.57%, respectively, with a high level of increase after the mid of August, 2020. In this study, ARIMA (0, 1, 5) and ARIMA (2, 1, 3) were finally confirmed as the optimal model for confirmed and recovered COVID-19 cases, respectively, based on lowest RMSE, MAPE and BIC values. The ARIMA model was also used to identify the COVID-19 trend and showed an increasing pattern on a daily basis in the number of confirmed and recovered cases. In addition, the 60-day forecast showed a steep upward trend in confirmed cases and recovered cases of COVID-19 in Ethiopia. Forecasts show that confirmed and recovered COVID-19 cases in Ethiopia will increase on a daily basis for the next 60 days. The findings can be used as a decision-making tool to implement health interventions and reduce the spread of COVID-19 infection. Recurrent hospital visits and hospital admission are potential risk factors for acquiring infection with its causative pathogen, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus−2 (SARS-CoV-2). As immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) constitute the therapeutic backbone for the vast majority of patients with advanced lung cancer in the absence of actionable driver oncogenes, there have been intense discussions within the oncology community regarding risk-benefit of delaying these treatments or use of alternative extended-interval treatment strategies to minimize the risk of viral transmission secondary to unintended nosocomial exposures. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted accelerated approval for extended-interval strategy of pembrolizumab at a dose of 400 mg every 6 weeks for all already approved oncologic indications. Herein, we summarize the evidence from the in silico pharmacokinetic modeling/simulation studies supporting extended-interval dosing strategies for the ICIs used in lung cancer. We further review the evolving clinical evidence behind these approaches and predict that they will continue to be used in routine practice even long after the pandemic, particularly for patients with durable disease control. Assim, este trabalho inspecionou a estrutura da comunidade de aves no Clube Recreativo da SANEAGO, na malha urbana de Iporá, no centro-oeste goiano. Registramos um total de 101 espécies, distribuídas em 35 famílias, sendo Tyrannidae a família com maior riqueza. Contudo, o estimador Jacknife1 estimou uma riqueza de 120. A inspeção das categorias tróficas demonstrou um predomínio de espécies onívoras (35,6%), insetívoras (31,6%) e granívoras (10,9%). A análise das categorias de estratificação vertical da vegetação demonstrou um predomínio de espécies arbóreas (R=81) e arbustivas (A=49), tal como esperado para a avifauna predominantemente arborícola do Cerrado. Este estudo demonstrou que o Clube possui uma avifauna rica, sendo assim importante para a manutenção e conservação da avifauna de Iporá. Theisolation of nitrogen fixing bacteria was done in an Ashby-benzoate medium from soil of a Stevia rebaudiana plantation. Isolates identifiedas Azotobacter nigricans were evaluated by their growth kinetics and the strain with the fastest growth was used for the production of abiofertilizer by discontinuous fermentation. The preliminary evaluation of the biofertilizer was done by its inoculation into t hree ridges ofa plantation of S. rebaudiana and yield determination was based upon biomass production and glycoside concentration. Results. Twoisolates (A5 and A6) were identified as A. nigricans based on their phenotypic and genotypic characterization. Isolate A5 was selected forpreparing the biofertilizer because it showed a better stability, pigmentation, a faster growth rate (0.1405 h-1 exponential phase of 18 hours)and an average IAA production of 38.4 mg/ml after 150 hours. The bio-fertilizer was obtained in milk medium with a cell concentration of4x1012 CFU/ml. Conclusions. The preliminary field evaluation showed a positive correlation between the increase of the glycosideconcentration in the leaves of S. rebaudiana and a higher production of biomass in response to the bio-fertilizer application. El objetivo de esta investigación fue el desarrollo de un modelo de simulación para el cálculo del consumo de combustible y la cuantificación de la emisión de CO2 asociados a los camiones mineros, para alcanzar lo anterior se utilizó la metodología que describe 7 actividades para el logro de un estudio de simulación exitoso. El modelo construido incorpora la cinemática y dinámica del camión, agregando además, el comportamiento ante eventos como interacciones (congestión) con los demás equipos. De los resultados obtenidos se destacan, la cuantificación de las interacciones (congestión) en los indicadores de consumo y emisión y la diferencia en la forma de calcular las emisiones de CO2, actualmente se realiza con la factura del combustible que ha sido utilizado, por el contrario, el modelo basa su cálculo en la energía utilizada para mover el camión. Para la flota de camiones que se modeló, la emisión media fue de 2,5 k. CO2/litro de combustible quemado, comparado con los 2,69 kg CO2/lt de combustible quemado que define el Grupo Intergubernamental de Expertos sobre el Cambio Climático. Inferir y cuantificar, como propone esta investigación, el consumo de combustible de los camiones en operaciones mineras y sus consecuencias como las emisiones de CO2, incorporando el comportamiento ante la congestión y variables dinámicas como la pendiente, resistencia a la rodadura, carga, rimpull, entre otros, permite analizar el desempeño de soluciones operacionales, adquiriendo una visión detallada del comportamiento del consumo de combustible en la dinámica de las operaciones, teniendo así el impacto al medio ambiente para cada solución en búsqueda de la minimización de costos.
