                <text>The impact of COVID-19, due to the wide-spread demand and supply destruction and downward movement of crude oil prices is of concern for all those connected with the oil and gas industry. In this study, an attempt has been made to estimate the price volatility of crude oil and natural gas listed on Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX). We measured the leverage effect of COVID-19 on price volatility of crude oil and natural gas by using the daily prices of crude oil and natural gas from 1st May 2017 to 30th April 2020. The findings of the study reveal that there is a presence of leverage effect of COVID-19 on the price volatility of crude oil. However, this leverage effect is not present on the price volatility of natural gas. The findings of the study will help investors to develop investment strategies and to the policymakers to formulate appropriate policies to overcome or minimise the impact of COVID-19. The forecasting graphs of crude oil prices indicate that there is a possibility that price volatility will be higher in the future. However, it is difficult to forecast the expected price volatility of natural gas for the future because the price volatility graph is extremely fluctuating.Keywords: COVID-19, Asymmetric Volatility, Leverage Effect, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, MCX Limited.                 <text>The goal of all learning efforts is for students to learn. In learning, students are subjects who are actively learning. Student success in learning is influenced by the quality of the student's activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student activity in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic from the aspects of visual activity, oral activity, listening activity, writing activity, emotional activity,and mental activity.This research Uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out at two locations, namely the Vocational High School (SMK) and State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) of 144 students. The instrument used to collect the data was a Scale of Students Active by Zamratul Aini, and questionnaires are distributed online through the Google Forms application. The results showed that in general the activeness of students in the online learning process was in the high category. The results of the research can be used as input for the counselor in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating guidance and counseling programs according to the analysis of student needs. Besides, it can also serve as input for the Principal to provide support to implementers of guidance and counseling service activities. In its implementation, counselors need to collaborate with various parties, both school personnel and other parties outside the school, so that the success of these guidance and counseling services can be achieved optimally.</text>

                <text>The first case of human transmission of SARS-CoV-2 was reported in China in December 2019. A few months later, this viral infection had spread worldwide and became a pandemic. The disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, termed COVID-19, is multifactorial and associated with both specific antiviral as well as inflammatory responses, the extent of which may determine why some individuals are asymptomatic while others develop serious complications. Here we review possible life-threating immune events that can occur during disease progression to uncover key factors behind COVID-19 severity and provide suggestions for interventions with repurposed drugs in well-controlled and randomized clinical trials. These drugs include therapeutics with potential to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells such as serine protease inhibitors of the cellular protease TMPS2 and drugs targeting the renin-angiotensin system; antivirals with potential to block SARS-CoV-2 replication or factors that could boost the antiviral response; monoclonal antibodies targeting pro-inflammatory cytokines that drive the hyperinflammatory response during COVID-19 progression toward the severe stage and therapeutics that could ameliorate the function of the lungs. Furthermore, in order to help make more informed decisions on the timing of the intervention with the drugs listed in this review, we have grouped these therapeutics according to the stage of COVID-19 progression that we considered most appropriate for their mechanism of action.</text>

                <text>People’s assessment of risks is swayed by their current feelings. COVID-19 invokes powerful feelings because it is (i) a salient, enormous threat, (ii) unfamiliar, and (iii) intertwined with xenophobia. These three factors are known to exert predictable influence on people’s risk overgeneralization, policy preference, and sociopolitical attitudes. We provide a succinct, illustrative review of empirical work on these dynamics in times of a disease outbreak (e.g., the 2009 H1N1 swine flu, the 2014 Ebola). Theoretical and applied implications for the present COVID-19 pandemic include the value of salience in motivating public opinion change, the importance of reducing unfamiliarity for curbing risk-averse tendencies, and the need for policies that guard against xenophobia-driven racism in collaborative efforts.</text>

                <text>La presente investigación fue con la intención de analizar cuál es el manejo que le dan los estudiantes universitarios de comunidades indígenas a las plataformas de medios sociales durante la pandemia por al COVID-19 y qué impacto tiene en su aprendizaje. Para tal efecto nos apoyamos en el enfoque metodológico cuantitativo, contando con un universo de 168 estudiantes indígenas, correspondiente al ciclo escolar largo febrero-Julio de 2020, todos de la Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Educación de la División Académica de Educación y Artes en la Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, en México. Del total del universo se tomaron como muestra de estudio a 44 estudiantes indígenas entre 19 y 24 años. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como instrumento un formulario de preguntas cerradas a escala tipo Likert con 3 categorías de respuestas que fueron previamente delimitados, con el objetivo de identificar el uso que le dan a las plataformas de medios sociales he impacto en el aprendizaje. Los resultados arrojaron que los estudiantes, aunque viven en comunidades alejadas de la ciudad, no se ven limitados en poder acceder a estas herramientas digitales, lamentablemente el uso que le dan es para contenidos sociales y de recreación dejando de lado aquel contenido que favorece su aprendizaje.  Palabras clave:  Estudiantes indígenas, COVID-19, aprendizaje.     ABSTRACT   The present research was with the intention of analyzing what is the handling that university students from indigenous communities give to social media platforms during the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact that this has on their learning. For this purpose, we rely on the quantitative methodological approach, counting on a universe of 168 indigenous students, corresponding to the long school year February-July 2020, all from the Bachelor of Education Sciences of the Academic Division of Education and Arts in the Autonomous Juárez University of Tabasco, in Mexico. Of the total universe, 44 indigenous students between 19 and 24 years old were taken as a study sample. For data collection, a closed question form on a Likert-type scale was used as an instrument with 3 categories of responses that were previously delimited, in order to identify the use that they give to social media platforms and impact on learning of indigenous students. The results showed that the students, although they live in communities far from the city, are not limited in being able to access these digital tools, unfortunately the use they give does not favor their learning. COVİD-19 ile ilgili yaşanan siyasal tartışmalar medya araçlarıyla topluma aktarılmaktadır. Medyada verilen haberlerin güvenirliği ve tarafsızlığı her dönemde tartışılan konular olmuştur. Medyanın kendine özgü ideolojik yaklaşım biçimi tarafsızlık ilkesinden sapmada etkili olmakta mıdır? Toplumu ilgilendiren önemli konularda olduğu gibi, ulusal güvenlik meselelerinde dahi tarafsızlık ilkesi ideolojik bakış açısına kurban edilmekte midir? gibi sorular bu çalışmanın temel problemini oluşturmaktadır. Nitel olan çalışmada Türkiye basınında 11-31 Mart 2020 tarihleri arasında COVİD-19 salgını ile mücadele konusunda hükümetin uyguladığı ekonomik politikalarla ilgili haberler incelenmiştir. Çalışma için farklı ideolojilere sahip Sabah ve Sözcü gazetelerindeki haberler örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Her iki gazetenin haberlerini okurlarına kendi ideolojik bakış açılarıyla sunup sunmadıkları Teun Van Dijk’in eleştirel söylem analizi yöntemiyle, makro düzeydeki şematik ve tematik boyutlarıyla incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda gazetelerin ekonomik politikalarla ilgili tasarladıkları haberleri Sabah Gazetesi hükümetin, Sözcü Gazetesi ise muhalefetin söylemlerini ön plana çıkararak sunmaktadır. Her iki gazetenin de haber içeriklerini kendi ideolojik bakış açılarıyla ele aldıkları ideolojik eksen üzerinden değerlendirdikleri görülmektedir.</text>

                <text>The author's interest is to investigate the lecturers' attitudes towards online teaching in the learning process which is the teaching for the 21st-century learning process and to seek the relationship among lecturers’ attitudes, online teaching and learning process. The problem is many lecturers in Tangerang City area are afraid of using technology and some of them are stuttered and technology illiterate. The lecturers still prefer face to face learning in the class more campuses have provided Moodle as a platform of learning. With the circumstances of Coronavirus, the learning has moved to e-learning. In this research, the author used a mixed-method and the number of respondents was 104, data collection was obtained from questionnaires sent via Google Form and distributed through WhatsApp to the lecturers in Tangerang City area. Data is translated into frequency and regression linear. The result showed that 73 lecturers change them toward e-learning and remain 27 lectures had difficulty in teaching online and preferred traditional learning.  Keywords: Lecturers' attitudes, online teaching, and learning process</text>

                <text>Com os inúmeros impactos da pandemia do novo coronavírus (SARS-CoV-2), em todo o mundo, pesquisadores de todas as áreas do conhecimento passaram a refletir e analisar as consequências desse evento que já marcou este século e, principalmente, como sairemos de tudo isso. Entre as questões que mais têm levantado preocupações estão a garantia de abastecimento de alimentos e a segurança alimentar. É nesse contexto que a Revista IDeAS convidou a pesquisadora Catia Grisa para analisar os efeitos da pandemia na agricultura familiar, setor fundamental para garantir a alimentação da população brasileira. Grisa analisa a trajetória das políticas públicas para a agricultura familiar no período pré-pandemia, as mudanças no âmbito do consumo e o acesso aos alimentos, as possíveis inovações de políticas públicas, o cenário pós-pandemia e como tem sido a dinâmica do trabalho em pesquisa durante esse período. Com essa iniciativa, procuramos contribuir com a circulação de informações e o debate acerca do enfrentamento das adversidades provocadas pelo novo coronavírus.</text>
