A densidade de 111.111 plantas ha-1 (0,30 x 0,30 m) e a dose de biofertilizante de 60 t ha-1 no primeiro ano de cultivo poderão ser recomendados para produção do capim-limão.The aim of this work was to evaluate the plant density and biofertilizer levels on lemon grass (Cymbopogom citratus (D.C.) Stapf). The experiment was installed in split plot design with three replications, having plant density as plots (33,333; 49,382; 55,555 and 111,111 plants ha-1) and biofertilizer doses as sub plots (0; 20; 40; 60 t ha-1 year-1). Nine cuttings were realized using an interval of 42 days between cuttings. We evaluated survival, plant height, number of tillers per plant, dry weight per plant and of biomass yield, essential oil content and yield. The essential oil content was not influenced by the plant densities and biofertilizer doses. The crescent density resulted in a crescent linear regression for essential oil yield and dry weight of biomass yield and in a declining linear regression for dry weight per plant. The biofertilizer dose resulted in a crescent linear regression for essential oil yield and dry weight per plant and of biomass yield. This defined the need for significative changes in teaching and learning with the use of “e-learning” methods, also for traineeships. This study was designed to determine the undergraduate student perception of these new methods as part of their education. This involved 353 students attending the Dental School of the G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti–Pescara, from the first to the sixth years. A questionnaire in Italian and was set-up using “Google Forms” and sent by email to the students. The questionnaire was divided into three parts: the first part included questions for general information, including age, sex and year of course; the second part had multiple choice questions related to their evaluation of the e-learning teaching, using a scale of opinion in the replies to each question (e.g., “scarce”, “fair”, “satisfying”, “very good” and “excellent”); and the third part included two open questions to indicate the strengths and limitations of these new teaching and learning approaches. The categorical variables in the first and second parts of the questionnaire were evaluated using Chi squared tests, setting significance at p < 0.05, while the comments were evaluated qualitatively. The student feedback showed significant appreciation (p < 0.05) of the new methods and the efforts that the lecturers put in to provide lectures of as high a quality as possible. However, a lack of practical training was significantly perceived as an important problem in the structure of their new curriculum (p < 0.05). COVID-19 has been an epic tragedy that has hit the human population not only in terms of health and healthcare, but also quality of life. This includes the quality of dental education within universities. México atiende cinco regiones prioritarias, en Jalisco una alianza entre gobierno, academia y organismos públicos; promueven el Manejo Integrado del Territorio con re-cursos concurrentes Federales y Subnacionales, además de adecuar política pública para propiciar una ganadería sostenible cero deforestación para el desarrollo rural regional. Los conceptos de apoyo incluyen infraestructura, equipo, material vegetativo (leñosas y pastos) y asistencia técnica especializada a productores que acrediten un componente ambiental vigilado por el gobierno para rediseñar sus sistemas de uso de la tierra hacia esquemas Silvopastoriles (SSP), a la vez que se propicia una estrategia de gobernanza regional positiva. En 2016 se apoyó a 22 productores en la región de Cuencas Costeras con cercos vivos, cultivo en callejones y bancos de proteína, en inversión gubernamental de 1.5 millones de pesos. En 2017, fueron 3.8 millones; se capacitaron 200 usuarios (productores, técnicos) en agroforestería con apoyo de la Universidad de Guadalajara e INIFAP, y para 2018 se aprobaron 47 solicitudes por 4.2 millones de pesos. Se considera que cambios en políticas públicas para acercar la producción con la conservación e impulsar la gobernanza regional, podrían atender problemas comunes del campo, promover una revisión del marco legal para financiamiento sólido y fomentar capacidades con la academia a manera de modelo de innovación multihélice en el campo de Jalisco. El seguimiento-evaluación será clave para medir el impacto de estas acciones y podría mostrar una opción hacia un desarrollo rural sustentable.
