El componente principal fue el de corte y el conglomerado resultó en tres grupos, el primero constituido por las cruzas 4x6, 4x8, 4x16, 4x130, 118x130, 8x118, 4x118, 6x118, 6x16, 6x130, 8x16, 8x130 y 16x118, el segundo por la cruza 16x130 y el tercero por 6x8. Esta agrupación puede deberse tanto al origen de los progenitores como al rendimiento obtenido. La baja fertilidad de los suelos es un hecho que golpea a estas áreas, las cuales se han visto afectados por el uso excesivo de fertilizantes químicos lo que ha ocasionado altos índices de contaminación, aumento de la compactación y la salinidad, disminución de la materia orgánica y el decremento de la microbiología de los suelos, impactando negativamente en el rendimiento, calidad de fruto y la rentabilidad. En busca de la sustentabilidad, se ha tratado de sustituir el uso de agroquímicos por productos orgánicos, pero en la producción de manzana no existe información para un manejo orgánico agroecológico propio de la región manzanera más importante de México. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue medir los efectos de la aplicación combinada de biofertilización y fertilización química, sobre las propiedades físicas, químicas y biológicas del suelo. El estudio se realizó en los ciclos 2012-13, 2013-14 y 2014-15 en una plantación de manzanos (Malus domestica Borkh) cv. Golden Supreme, en el municipio de Guerrero, Chihuahua. Se establecieron dos tratamientos: T-1 (biofertilización + fertilización química) donde se aplicó el 50% de biofertilizante y 50% de fertilizante químico; T-2 fertilización química, siendo el testigo y representando el manejo tradicional del productor. En cada ciclo, ambos tratamientos tuvieron aplicaciones de 6 Mg ha-1 de lombricomposta y 30 Mg ha-1 de aserrín de pino como acolchado orgánico. Los resultados mostraron que en T-1, la combinación de biofertilización y fertilización química, lombricomposta y aserrín de pino como acolchado influyó positivamente sobre la capacidad de almacenamiento de agua en un 10.36%, la capacidad de intercambio catiónico (83.05%), la materia orgánica (24.41%) y la biomasa microbiana del suelo (113.99%), mientras que en T-2 los porcentajes fueron menores. El conjunto de beneficios aportados por el biofertilizante líquido, lombricomposta y aserrín de pino como acolchado, significó un aumento de la fertilidad del suelo. El artículo se basa en una investigación de hogares que se llevó a cabo de diciembre de 2006 a abril de 2007 en tres comunidades de la Sierra Tarahumara, ubicada al suroeste de Chihuahua. Los resultados revelan que incluso en un contexto de extrema pobreza y vulnerabilidad al cambio climático, la población desarrolla respuestas para afrontarlo y adaptarse. After the main peak of the crisis, restrictions were gradually removed, returning to a new normal situation. This process has impacted urban mobility. The limited information on the new normal situation shows changes that can be permanent or reversible. The impact on the diverse urban transport modes varies. This study analyzes the changes in transit ridership by line, the use of stops, the main origin–destination flows, changes in transit supply, operation time, and reliability of the city bus network of A Coruña. It is based on data from automatic vehicle location, bus stop boarding, and smart card use. Data from the first half of 2020 were compared to similar data in 2017–2019, defining suitable baselines for each analysis to avoid seasonal and day of week effects. The impact on transit ridership during the lockdown process was more significant than that on general traffic. In the new normal situation, the general traffic and the shared bike system recovered a higher percentage of their previous use than the bus system. These impacts are not uniform across the bus network. In 2019, a Phase IV Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)-linked malaria vaccine implementation was underway. However, in December 2019, a novel pneumonia condition termed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), with many clinical, epidemiological, and biological parallels to malaria, was reported in Wuhan, China. COVID-19 is spreading rapidly, and, as of the 3rd of June, 2020, more than 382,507 persons had died from COVID-19. Children under 5 years who suffer high malaria-attributable mortalities are largely asymptomatic for COVID-19. Considering that the malaria burden is highest in low-income tropical countries with little capacity to fund malaria control and eradication programs, the fight against malaria in these regions is likely to be hampered. Access to healthcare has generally been limited, while malaria interventions, such as seasonal malaria chemotherapy and distribution of insecticide-treated bed nets, have been suspended due to lockdowns. Likewise, the repurposing of antimalarials for treatment of COVID-19 shared symptoms and the shift in focus from the production of malaria rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) to COVID-19 RDTs is a cause for concern in malaria-endemic regions. Children are less affected by the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the elderly. However, due to the fears of contracting SARS-CoV-2, the elderly who are worst affected by COVID-19 may not take children for malaria medication, resulting in high malaria-related mortalities among children. COVID-19 has disproportionately affected developed countries, threatening their donation capacity. These are likely to thwart malaria control efforts in low-income regions. Here, we present perspectives on the collateral impact of COVID-19 on malaria, especially in Africa. The patients who underwent cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) face double risk because CBP triggers an intense inflammatory response and the leading cause of mortality in COVID-19 patients is “cytokine storm”. In our institution 15 confirmed cases operated on with open-heart surgery. 9 cases isolated CABG, 4 cases valvular combined with CABG, and 1 valvular disease. Materials and method; All patients undergoing elective or urgent cardiac surgery at “Mother Theresa” ’s Hospital from 11 March to 30 November 2020 were included in this study. Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 infection via positive throat swab taken due to clinical suspicion postoperatively were reviewed. Patients characteristics, type of intervention, date of COVID-19 diagnosis. Results: 9 patients (72%) normal recovery, no respiratory failure, only 3-5 days of fever (max 39,4). 3 of them a moderate respiratory failure. 3 patients with severe respiratory failure. Only 3 deaths (26,6%). Recommendation: It's important to a preoperative screening for COVID-19 patients. The outcome of cardiac surgical patients who contracted COVID-19 infection perioperatively is extremely poor. Aggressive respiratory assistance (early intubation), high doses of corticosteroids, and anticoagulation, better results.
