Ahora bien, la aplicación de políticas preventivas y medidas correctoras evidencian la dificultad para conjugar intereses muy diversos.There is unanimity in the International community on the subject of the earth's environmental crisis. The degree of appreciation of this problem is linked to the level of development and the participative conscience in it is greater in the rich countries. However, the global aspect of this crisis implies both the developed worid and the less developed worid. Climate change is a clear example of the size of environmental problems. But the application of preventive policies and corrective measures show the difficulties to combine very different interests.

Los océanos han sido considerados fuente ilimitada de recursos, capaces de alimentar a la población mundial, pero la demanda alimentaria se ha incrementado a tal grado que supera el aporte de los mares. Sin embargo, las políticas de manejo en el sector pesquero, no logran asegurar el beneficio social. Existe una tendencia a la pobreza, principalmente entre los pescadores ribereños, por la disipación de la renta, cuya causa, entre otras, es el acceso abierto a los recursos. La acuicultura contribuye a garantizar la seguridad alimentaria generando empleos y divisas, ya que es la industria alimentaria que ha tenido la mayor tasa de crecimiento en los últimos años. No existe ningún estudio concerniente a la participación de los cultivos de atún y camarón en el desarrollo económico y social de la región tampoco un estudio de la cadena de valor de la producción, que permita cuantificar la participación de la población y y los beneficios a ésta, de tal manera que se den las condiciones para incentivar el desarrollo de la región. El presente trabajo ofrece un panorama del impacto socioeconómico que ejerce la maricultura en la Bahía de la Paz.

Con el inicio de la “Revolución Verde”, se estimularon notables transformaciones en la producción agropecuaria. El propósito de ese modelo de producción tenía entre otros objetivos el incremento de la productividad y la rentabilidad agropecuaria, a partir del uso intensivo de compuestos agroquímicos. Con su aplicación se logró un incremento acelerado en los volúmenes de producción; sin embargo, condujo como consecuencia el deterioro de los recursos naturales, amenazando la sostenibilidad de los sistemas productivos y la salud de la población. Las grandes extensiones dedicadas al cultivo de la caña de azúcar en nuestro país no escaparon a estas transformaciones; la gran cantidad de nutrientes demandados y las bajas reposiciones de nutrientes por fertilización traen como consecuencia una marcada disminución de la fertilidad en la mayoría de los suelos dedicados al cultivo de la poácea. El déficit nutricional para los cultivos debe ser compensado a través de la fertilización para intentar alcanzar la sostenibilidad y competitividad del sistema productivo. Dentro de las alternativas, se ha trabajado en las últimas décadas, en la obtención de fitoestimulantes que se caracterizan por incrementar el crecimiento y la productividad de los cultivos. Sobre la base de los antecedentes mencionados se decidió proponer una nueva alternativa para la fertilización del cultivo de la caña de azúcar bajo los principios del manejo sostenible de tierras.

En la Provincia de Tucumán se han identificado (4) cuatro cuencas sedimentarias de edad cuaternaria, con una superficie del orden de los 10.000 Km2, sobre una superficie total del territorio provincial de 22.500 Km2. Es en estas áreas donde se desarrolla la totalidad del sistema productivo de la provincia; de allí la necesidad fundamental de conocer sus características geológicas en superficie y su desarrollo en el subsuelo. La construcción de todos los centros poblados de la Provincia y sus principales obras de infraestructura están asentados en sedimentos cuaternarios, salvo algunos caminos de montañas o diques. La formación de suelos aptos para agricultura y la explotación ganadera, la explotación de áridos para la construcción, el desarrollo de los cauces superficiales de agua y las importantes reservas de agua subterránea, están condicionadas por las características sedimentarias de las rocas de edad cuaternarias que cubren casi el 50% de la superficie provincial. El Cuaternario marca un cambio fundamental en la geografía de la Provincia, con el levantamiento de los sistemas montañosos iniciados a fines del Terciario y los cambios climáticos asociados, permitieron delinear la fisonomía actual del territorio provincial. En el trabajo se analiza la geología de las cuencas sedimentarias cuaternarias, su extensión areal y el importante desarrollo en profundidad donde se encuentran los reservorios de agua subterráneas de la Provincia, a través del análisis de perforaciones profundas y prospección geofísica.

El trabajo tiene por finalidad discutir aspectos asociados a la inclusión digital en Brasil y Colombia, los retos educativos que se plantean y, especialmente, los procesos de innovación educativa mediada por tecnologías digitales de información y comunicación (TDIC). Las reflexiones sobre el tema se basan en el trabajo conducido en el marco de una investigación empírica sobre la influencia del nivel socioeconómico y las experiencias de aprendizaje mediadas por las tecnologías digitales en estudiantes universitarios brasileños y colombianos. Desde una perspectiva socioconstructivista y situada del aprendizaje, el trabajo parte de tres convicciones. La primera considera que las TDIC son importantes artefactos socioculturales mediadores de las prácticas sociales, configurando una nueva ecología del aprendizaje. La segunda refiere al hecho de que, en la sociedad de la información (SI), las condiciones de acceso y uso de las TDIC no se dan igualmente para todos, sino que deben analizarse teniendo en cuenta la influencia del poder económico de los diferentes países y el nivel socioeconómico de las personas. La tercera, es que las diversas experiencias de acceso y uso de las TDIC por las personas repercuten sobre las oportunidades educativas, restringiéndolas o ampliándolas y llevando a la construcción de diferentes rutas de aprendizaje. En este sentido, desde los aspectos de la inclusión digital en Brasil y Colombia, se discuten los retos que se plantean a la educación, especialmente a los procesos de innovación educativa

Patients and methods: Epidemiological analysis was performed on data from all MERS-CoV cases recorded by the Saudi Ministry of Health between June 6, 2013 and May 14, 2014. The frequency of cases and deaths was calculated and adjusted by month, sex, age group, and region. The average monthly temperature and humidity of infected regions throughout the year was also calculated. Results: A total of 425 cases were recorded over the study period. The highest number of cases and deaths occurred between April and May 2014. Disease occurrence among men (260 cases [62%]) was higher than in women (162 cases [38%]), and the case fatality rate was higher for men (52%) than for women (23%). In addition, those in the 45–59 years and ≥60 years age groups were most likely to be infected, and the case fatality rate for these people was higher than for other groups. The highest number of cases and deaths were reported in Riyadh (169 cases; 43 deaths), followed by Jeddah (156 cases; 36 deaths) and the Eastern Region (24 cases; 22 deaths). The highest case fatality rate was in the Eastern Region (92%), followed by Medinah (36%) and Najran (33%). MERS-CoV infection actively causes disease in environments with low relative humidity (<20%) and high temperature (15°C–35°C). Conclusion: MERS-CoV is considered an epidemic in Saudi Arabia. The frequency of cases and deaths is higher among men than women, and those above 45 years of age are most affected. Low relative humidity and high temperature can enhance the spread of this disease in the entire population. Further analytical studies are required to determine the source and mode of infection in Saudi Arabia. Medical imaging methods are assuming a greater role in the workup of patients with COVID-19, mainly in relation to the primary manifestation of pulmonary disease and the tissue distribution of the angiotensin-converting-enzyme 2 (ACE 2) receptor. However, the field is so new that no consensus view has emerged guiding clinical decisions to employ imaging procedures such as radiography, computer tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET), and magnetic resonance imaging, and in what measure the risk of exposure of staff to possible infection could be justified by the knowledge gained. The insensitivity of current RT-PCR methods for positive diagnosis is part of the rationale for resorting to imaging procedures. While CT is more sensitive than genetic testing in hospitalized patients, positive findings of ground glass opacities depend on the disease stage. There is sparse reporting on PET/CT with [18F]-FDG in COVID-19, but available results are congruent with the earlier literature on viral pneumonias. There is a high incidence of cerebral findings in COVID-19, and likewise evidence of gastrointestinal involvement. Artificial intelligence, notably machine learning is emerging as an effective method for diagnostic image analysis, with performance in the discriminative diagnosis of diagnosis of COVID-19 pneumonia comparable to that of human practitioners.

The study's purpose was to develop an approach to the empirical assessment of the impact on the quality of HC to the developing economy during the economic crisis on the example of Azerbaijan. To obtain quantitative assessments of the qualitative characteristics of human capital development, the questionnaire method has been used. Based on a survey of 7232 people (which has been carrying out for July-September 2017-2020 in the context of the economic regions of Azerbaijan) and the main components' method, the factors of the qualitative characteristics of the development of the HC was determined. Using the method of linear regression modeling, the fact statistically more level significant influence on the level of economic development of the country of qualitative indicators of the development of the HC has been determined than quantitative indicators during the economic crisis. An integral model of an empirical assessment of HC's qualitative development has been developed

The objective of this study is to compare the epidemiological variations in COVID-19 patients reported in studies from inside and outside of China. We selected COVID-19 observational studies from eight countries, including, China, Italy, Australia, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and the USA, comprising a total of 13 studies and performed a meta-analysis for age, gender, fatality rate, and clinical symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, and diarrhea. The meta-analysis shows that there are differences in symptoms and other characteristics reported by the patients of COVID-19 inside and outside China. Patients in China have a higher proportion of fever, cough, and shortness of breath as compared to patients outside of China. However, we found the opposite results for the gastrointestinal symptoms such as Diarrhea. Patients outside of China have a significantly higher proportion of Diarrhea as compared to patients within China. We also observed gender disparity among our studies, with the male population being more susceptible than the female population. Moreover, the analysis suggests that the fatality rate in China is relatively lower as compared to the fatality rate in other countries. These findings also suggest that the clinical symptoms of COVID-19 should not be generalized to fever, shortness of breath, and cough only but other symptoms such as diarrhea are also prevalent in patients with COVID-19.
