El SSP ubicado en el BosqueMontano Bajo, present6 41,2 ton C ha-1 fijadovalores de emisi6n neta (EN) de 5,65 y 6,87 kgde N y C ha-Iafio-1 respectivamente. En el com-ponente arb6reo se determin6 una fijaci6n de229 kg C ha-Iano-I, la emisi6n de CH4 fue de360 kg ha-Iano-I. El balance anual refleja unaemisi6n neta de 2418 kg de C ha-Iano-l. En la zo-na de vida Bosque Premontano muy Humedo, eneISSPsedetermin6enelsuel020,9tonCha-l,sien-do la EN de -1,58 y 3,51 kg de N y C ha-Iano-l, res-pectivamente. El C fijado por el componente ar-b6reo fue 313 kg C ha-Iafio-l; la emisi6n de CH4 highfuede 654 kg ha-Iano-I. El balance anual presen- ecosyst6una emisi6n neta de 3911 kg de C ha-Iano-En el SSP ubicado en el Bosque Humedo Tropi-cal, se determin6 42,8 ton C ha-Iafio-I. La EN correspondi6 al,16 y 3,99 kg de N y C ha-Iano-l, estirespectivamente.El C fijado par ano en el compo-nente arb6reo rue de 313 kg C ha-l, la ernisi6n deCH4fue de 183 kg ha-Iano-l.                 <text>Evidência científica indica que a obesidade é responsável por diversas doenças crónicas, como são exemplo a hipertensão e a diabetes mellitus tipo 2. Recentemente, a literatura tem vindo a chamar a atenção para o facto de indivíduos com obesidade apresentarem risco mais elevado de desenvolver sintomas graves da Covid-19. Ser ativo é visto como medida positiva para prevenir e tratar doenças como hipertensão e diabetes, entre outras. A forma das cidades, a distribuição dos equipamentos e o desenho urbano podem influenciar positivamente (ou negativamente) o modo como as pessoas se deslocam e se relacionam com o ambiente da área de residência, aumentando (ou diminuindo) os níveis de atividade física e, potencialmente, contrariando o sedentarismo.  Este estudo, realizado em Coimbra, investigou: i) a associação estatística entre as tipologias de uso do solo e as condições do ambiente físico e construído em que os indivíduos vivem; ii) o papel desempenhado pelas condições ambientais no excesso de peso e obesidade.  Foi recolhida informação de 1 117 indivíduos residentes em freguesias urbanas, periurbanas e rurais, entre março e setembro de 2020. Com estes dados foram desenvolvidos modelos de regressão logística binomial, ajustados por sexo e idade.  Os resultados permitem concluir que os residentes mais afastados do centro da cidade (áreas periurbanas e rurais) apresentam maior probabilidade de terem excesso de peso, de usarem automóvel, de avaliarem positivamente aspetos relacionados com os serviços urbanos (e.g. espaços públicos de lazer e as áreas verdes urbanas) e a qualidade do ar. Residentes periurbanos que usam transporte público têm menor probabilidade de ter excesso de peso em relação a quem utiliza o automóvel.  Identificar ambientes obesogénicos é uma condição fundamental para a construção de políticas públicas que tenham como objetivo a promoção da saúde, a prevenção da doença e a redução das iniquidades.</text>

                <text>O Esterco líquido de suínos (ELS) pode ser usado como fertilizante orgânico, mas seu uso incorreto pode contaminar o solo e os mananciais de água. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar o efeito da adição de nutrientes ao solo, através do ELS, sobre a produção de matéria seca (MS) e o acúmulo de nutrientes de uma pastagem de aveia branca+azevém (Avena sativa + Lolium multiflorum). Um experimento foi realizado de 2004 a 2006, no campo experimental da UTFPR, em Pato Branco, Paraná, Brasil. O solo era um Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico. Diferentes doses (0, 20, 40, 80 e 120m³ ha-1) de ELS foram aplicadas na pastagem, aos 20 e 61 dias após a emergência (DAE) da pastagem, em 2004, e aos 30 e 67DAE, em 2005. Outras duas aplicações foram realizadas nas culturas de verão, milho em 2004 e soja em 2005, respectivamente. A maior produção de MS foi obtida com a dose de 120m³ ha-1 de ELS, tanto no primeiro, quanto no segundo ano. A absorção de nutrientes pelas plantas respondeu de forma linear à aplicação de esterco líquido de suínos.The pig slurry can be used as an organic fertilizer but its improper use can contaminate water and soil. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of nutrient addition to the soil on pasture oat + ryegrass (Avena sativa + Lolium multiflorum) dry matter production and nutrient uptake. One experiment was carried out from 2004 to 2006, installed in the experimental farm of UTFPR in Pato Branco, Paraná State, Brazil. The soil was an Oxisol (Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico, Brazil systems). Different rates (0, 20, 40, 80 and 120m³ ha-1) of pig slurry were applied in the pasture. The pig slurry applications were performed 20 and 61 days after emergence (DAE) of pasture, in 2004, and 30 and 67DAE of pasture in 2005. Another two applications were performed in summer crops, corn in 2004 and soybean in 2005. In both years the rate 120m³ ha-1 of pig slurry resulted in the highest dry matter production.                 <text>Este estudo busca identificar quais são os fatores socioambientais que levam ao adoecimento emocional/mental às comunidades rurais do município de Centenário, norte do Rio Grande do Sul. A pesquisa, caracterizada como qualitativa e exploratória, envolveu 16 participantes, os quais residem no meio rural do município, com faixa etária entre 20 e 80 anos, que possuem algum tipo de diagnóstico de adoecimento mental e que estavam no momento da pesquisa tomando medicamento para este fim. Compreender quais são os fatores do adoecimento emocional exige um conhecimento acerca das relações que estas pessoas possuem com o meio em que vivem. Dessa forma, entende-se ser possível aprimorar as políticas públicas que atendam as demandas desta população que sofre e que necessita, além de um diagnóstico, de alternativas de tratamento e cuidados especiais no que diz respeito à saúde mental e a qualidade de vida das mesmas.</text>

                <text>The purpose of this study was to assess the cytotoxic effect of the non-fractionated aqueous extract of A. sylvaticus mushroom in cultures of non-tumor cells (NIH3T3) and tumor cells (OSCC-3). The cells were maintained in DMEN cell culture medium added of 10% of fetal bovine serum and 1% antibiotic. For the cytotoxicity test we prepared the aqueous mushroom extract at concentrations of 0.01 mg.ml-1, 0.02 mg.ml-1, 0.04 mg.ml-1, 0.08 mg.ml-1, 0.16 mg.ml-1, and 0.32 mg.ml-1. For the culture, 2 x 10(5) cells/ml was deposited in 96-well microplates during 24 hour incubation with subsequent exchange of medium by another containing the mushroom concentrations. After 24 hour incubation the medium was discarded and 100 ml of tetrazolium blue (MTT) was added at a concentration of 5 mg.ml-1. The microplates were incubated for 2 h at 37º C. Spectrophotometric analysis was performed using 570 nm wavelength. From the values of the optical densities we determined the drug concentration capable of reducing cell viability by 50%. Therefore, the mushroom A. sylvaticus, at all concentrations tested, did not show cytotoxic effects, once the inhibitory concentration (IC50) obtained for tumor cells OSCC-3 was 0.06194 mg.ml-1, and the IC50 checked for non-tumor cells NIH3T3 was 0,06468 mg.ml-1. This test made it possible to determine that A. sylvaticus mushroom has no cytotoxic effects, suggesting its use safe for human consumption.</text>

                <text>Objetivou-se descrever as percepções dos agricultores familiares de uma cooperativa agropecuária do Rio Grande do Sul sobre as implicações causadas pela mudança de sistema produtivo: da agricultura convencional para a produção agroecológica de alimentos. Para embasar o trabalho foram usadas as teorias da mudança, agroecologia, cooperativismo e agricultura familiar. O estudo classifica-se como uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, com tratamento qualitativo dos dados, por meio da análise de conteúdo. Foram realizadas entrevistas com os 39 agricultores. Observa-se que nas percepções individuais os assuntos mais referenciados foram: conhecimento, comunicação e planejamento; resistência e mudança; saúde e renda. O estudo demonstrou que a mudança de sistema produtivo é lenta, porém importante para os agricultores. Contudo, o comprometimento de todos na transição agroecológica foi essencial para o bom desempenho organizacional.</text>

                <text>Las diatomeas bentónicas forman biopelículas debido a las sustancias que secretan, que les permite mantenerse adheridas al sustrato. A ellas se asocian bacterias que, dada las condiciones no axénicas de los cultivos, pueden alterar el valor nutricional de las mismas. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue caracterizar la microbiota bacteriana asociada a los cultivos de las microalgas bentónicas Navicula germanopolonica y Amphora sp., especies utilizadas para la precría del camarón en cultivo. Se aislaron e identificaron las 10 colonias m{s abundantes que aparecieron en los cultivos de cada especie. Las características macro y microscópicas se determinaron por el método de Brown (2012) y para la identificación se empleó la metodología API 20 NE y API 50 CHB para bacilos Gram negativos no enterobacterias y bacilos esporulados Gram positivos respectivamente. Se determinaron las actividades antibacteriana, amilolítica, hemolítica, proteolítica y  lipolítica de algunas cepas. El alto porcentaje de bacilos Gram positivos esporulados, asociados a los cultivos de las microalgas estudiadas, le confieren un efecto probiótico cuando éstos se utilizan en la alimentación de organismos acu{ticos. Las bacterias del género Bacillus fueron las m{s abundantes y las de mayores capacidades bioactivas por lo que resultan una fuente potencial de obtención de estas sustancias. La microbiota bacteriana que se encontró en los cultivos de N. germanopolonica y Amphora sp., evidencian las potencialidades de la misma ya que en la actualidad se ha incrementado la búsqueda de sustancias de interés a partir de fuentes marinas.  ABSTRACT Benthic diatoms forms biofilms due to secrete substances, which allows them to remain adhered to the substratum. These microalgae have associated bacteria, that given the non axenic conditions of the cultures can alter the nutritional value. The aim of the present work was to characterize the bacterial microbiota associatAmphora sp.  ed to the cultures of the benthic microalgae Navicula germanopolonica and Amphora sp., species used for the shrimp hatchery. They were isolated and it identified the 10 more abundant colonies that it appeared in the cultures of each species. The characteristic macro and microscopic they were determined by the Brown´ method (2012) and for the identification the methodology API was used 20 NE and API 50 CHB for bacteria non-enteric Gram negative rods and Gram positive sporulated rods respectively. The activities antibacterial, amilolitic hemolitic, proteolitic and lipolitic of some stumps were determined. The high percentage of sporulating Gram positive bacilli, associated to the cultures of the studied microalgae, confers him an probiotic effect when these are used in the feeding of aquatic organisms. The bacteria of the genero Bacillus was the most abundant and those of more capacities bioactivity for what they are a potential source of obtaining of these substances. The bacterial microbiota that was in the cultures of N. germanopolonica and Amphora sp., they evidence the potentialities of the same one since at the present time the search of substances of interest it has been increased starting from marine sources.</text>

                <text>Introduction On 11 March 2020, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) announced COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) as a global pandemic Currently, no vaccines are available and there is little evidence of the efficacy of potential therapeutic agents. Furthermore, there is presumably no pre-existing immunity in the population to  the new coronavirus, and it is as-sumed that everyone in the population is susceptible.  Objective The aim of the procedures described in the article is to minimize the risk of human-to-human transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratory syndrome – coronavirus 2) virus during procedures carried out in endoscopic laboratories.  Brief description of the state of the art SARS-CoV-2 infection can be asymptomatic, cause severe pneumonia, or lead to death. Symptoms of COVID-19 range from none (asymptomatic) to severe pneumonia and it can be fatal. Case studies to-date indicate that this infection causes a mild illness (i.e. pneumonia or mild pneumonia) in approximately 80% of cases, and most cases recove; 14% have a more severe illness, 6% experience a critical illness. The vast majority of the most serious illnesses and deaths have occurred among the elderly and people with other chronic underlying diseases. Average  progression times include:  • in mild cases: from the onset of symptoms to recovery in almost 2 weeks;     • in severe cases: from the onset of symptoms to recovery in 3–6 weeks, and from symptoms to death in 2–8 weeks.  Conclusions Special precautions should be taken and procedures followed when performing invasive medical procedures in endoscopic laboratories in patients with specific or clinically probable SARS-CoV-2 infection.
