                <text>En condiciones de huertos intensivos, ubicados en el municipio San Antonio del Sur, Cuba, entre septiembre y noviembre de 2017 se evalúo la respuesta de Vigna unguiculata (L) Walp var. Alina (habichuela) a la aplicación foliar de bioproductos.  En un diseño experimental de bloques al azar con tres repeticiones fueron evaluados los tratamientos:  5 y 10 mL/L por ha de Lebame, 1.5 y 3.5 kg/ha de Spiruvinas, y una aplicación uniforme por tratamiento de Rhizophagus irregularis, más dos tratamientos de materia orgánica (M.O.) consistentes en 5 y 10 kg/m2 (testigo) sin rizobio.  Las variables evaluadas fueron altura de planta, diámetro del tallo, número de vainas y rendimiento.  Los mayores rendimientos y desarrollo del cultivo se encontraron con los tratamientos combinados de Lebame y Spiruvinas, especialmente con la dosis de 3.5 mL/L por ha de este último más la cepa comercial EcoMic® de Rhizophagus irregularis con rendimiento de 4.17 kg/m2.</text>

                <text>Os mapas são representações gráï¬cas que podem contribuir na gestão territorial. Assim, este artigo tem o objetivo de analisar espacialmente se a expansão da dendeicultura (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) no Pará, ocorre apenas em áreas alteradas (desï¬‚orestadas) ou também está avançando para as áreas preservadas. O recorte espacial adotado foi o município de Tomé-Açu que desempenha papel signiï¬cativo no desenvolvimento econômico regional com base na agricultura familiar, ter tradição em cultivos agroï¬‚orestais, e possui uma localização geográï¬ca estratégica no polo de produção do dendezeiro no Estado. Utiliza-se uma abordagem interdisciplinar para integrar dados de  sensoriamento remoto e técnicas de modelagem cartográï¬ca (álgebra de mapas). Os resultados para o período estudado (2001-2013) apontaram que os cultivos de dendezeiro estão concentrados, principalmente, em áreas indicadas para a atividade agropecuária, embora, também ocorram nas áreas indicadas para a preservação (principalmente, faixas dos rios). Situação que reforça a necessidade de acompanhar o avanço desta atividade na Amazônia.</text>

                <text>O objetivo do trabalho foi mensurar quanto e quais são os custos de produção de sistemas agroindustriais familiares que possuem a agricultura ecológica como base de reprodução social. Neste sentido, foram relacionados, sempre comparativamente, indicadores de desempenho econômico das situações de formalidade e informalidade institucional das experiências investigadas. As perguntas que guiaram a pesquisa foram: quanto e quais são os custos para viabilizar um sistema agroindustrial ecológico nas situações de formalidade e informalidade institucional? Haveria diferenças monetárias significativas? Dentro disso, qual seria o custo da certificação orgânica? A pesquisa foi desenvolvida na Regional da EMATER de Frederico Westphalen/RS, onde foram investigadas doze iniciativas, utilizando-se do aporte teórico-metodológico de avaliação econômica dos sistemas de produção. De maneira geral, os resultados evidenciam que os sistemas agroindustriais familiares ecológicos possuem menores custos de produção em situação de informalidade por um lado e, de outro, que seu valor agregado e renda agroindustrial também se elevam quando estes não seguem as legislações agroalimentares emanadas do Estado, em diferentes níveis territoriais.</text>

                <text>A agricultura Familiar se caracteriza pela pequena e média propriedade rural, que na Região Centro-Sul do Paraná é constituída em sua maioria, por áreas que apresentam algumas restrições morfopedológicas, como solos raros e vertentes declivosas. Sendo este um fator limitante para a mecanização das áreas disponíveis para o cultivo. O desafio maior da agricultura familiar é adaptar e organizar seu sistema de produção, a partir das novas técnicas e métodos disponíveis.  A forma como o cultivo é realizado, está diretamente associada às características locais. Neste sentido, em algumas áreas utiliza-se de práticas conservacionistas e outras não, promovendo variação na perda de água e solo ao longo do cultivo. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar as perdas de água e solo no cultivo de milho, desenvolvido em Sistemas de Plantio Convencional e Plantio Direto, na safra 2010/2011, em uma pequena propriedade rural do Município de Irati – PR. Para a coleta de dados foram utilizadas calhas de Gerlach. O sistema de Cultivo Convencional apresentou uma perda de solo de 1,33 t/ha, e uma perda de água de 1,41% durante o período de monitoramento (dezembro/ abril), enquanto, o Plantio Direto resultou em apenas 0,1 t/ha de perdas de solo e 0,55% de perda de água. Demonstrando que adoção do Sistema de Cultivo com Plantio Direto reduziu, significativamente, as perdas de solo em relação ao Sistema de Cultivo Convencional.</text>

                <text>No cenário acadêmico há uma enorme escassez de investigações voltadas ao estudo das condições de vida e saúde mental das populações rurais. A maior parte dos estudos que tomam essas populações como foco se limita à discussão acerca da produtividade, sustentabilidade, agricultura familiar, violência no campo, conflitos agrários e fundiários. Em relação à saúde do trabalhador rural predominam pesquisas voltadas às morbidades associadas à aplicação múltipla e intermitente de agrotóxicos, dentre as quais estão as psiquiátricas e as tentativas de suicídio, bem como decorrentes da alteração tecnológica no campo e acidentes resultantes do processo de trabalho. Quando se trata de moradores de assentamentos de reforma agrária a desinformação é ainda mais evidente. Entretanto, esse grupo populacional apresenta vulnerabilidade considerável na medida em que tem uma trajetória de vida marcada pela precária condição de reprodução social e grande dificuldade de acesso às políticas e programas de saúde, educação, segurança, transporte, habitação, organização da produção, a despeito das ações governamentais desenvolvidas pelo Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária (INCRA) para dar sustentação ao desenvolvimento dos assentamentos.</text>

                <text>O objetivo do presente artigo consiste em analisar o processo de construção do Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos da Agricultura Familiar (PAA), focalizando as relações entre os atores envolvidos. Utilizou-se o referencial das redes e comunidades de política como recurso metodológico para analisar a formulação do PAA sob a orientação da perspectiva teórica que aborda a permeabilidade do Estado. Realizaram-se 16 entrevistas com os principais atores envolvidos na construção do programa. Os dados foram analisados através do software NetMiner 2.6. Os resultados revelam que o PAA resultou de um longo processo de discussão e construção que envolveu atores oriundos de distintas inserções institucionais, que tiveram a possibilidade de acessar os espaços e a rede de formulação e execução das políticas voltadas à agricultura.</text>

                <text>O maracujazeiro é originário da América Tropical, com mais de 150 espécies de Passifloraceas utilizadas para consumo humano. As espécies mais cultivadas no Brasil e no mundo são o maracujá-amarelo (Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa), maracujá-roxo (Passiflora edulis) e o maracujá-doce (Passiflora alata). O maracujá-amarelo é o mais cultivado no mundo, responsável por mais de 95% da produção do Brasil e utilizado principalmente no preparo de sucos. O Brasil é o maior produtor mundial com produção de 330 mil toneladas e área de aproxima- damente 33 mil hectares. O presente estudo tem como objetivo avaliar o crescimento vegetativo do maracujazeiro-amarelo, sob os efeitos de diferentes tipos e dosagens de biofertilizante em condições experimental, no setor de agroecologia do Centro de Ciências Humanas e Agrárias da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba. O delineamento experimental adotado foi o inteiramente casualizado, com 15 tratamentos, num esquema fatorial 5x3, com 4 repetições, totalizando 60 plantas experimentais, onde foram estudados os efeitos de 5 doses de biofertilizante (D1= 0 L; D2= 0,3 L; D3= 0,6 L; D4= 0,9 L e D5= 1,2 L/planta/avez) e de 3 tipos de biofertilizante (B1=biofertilizante não enriquecido-esterco; B2=biofertilizante enriquecido-esterco; B3=biofertilizante enriquecido-soro) no crescimento e desenvolvimento do maracujazeiroamarelo. Os resultados foram submetidos a análise de variância, e as médias comparadas pelo teste de Tukey a 5%. Com o aumento da quantidade de biofertilizante aplicado na adubação de cobertura acima de 900 ml/planta/vez apresentou redução do crescimento do maracujazeiro-amarelo, por sua vez, os diferentes tipos de biofertilizantes aplicados via solo na forma líquida não proporcionaram crescimentos diferenciados do maracujazeiro-amarelo.</text>

                <text>This article analyzes the relationship between some family agriculture public policies and their effects on the development of this type of agriculture in Brazil. It analyzes the National Program for Strengthening Family Agriculture – Pronaf, which has contributed strongly for the development of the sector , mainly in the Southern region of the country; the implementation of the Rural Social Welfare Program as a palliative to social exclusion; and the Food Acquisition Program –PAA which guarantees the purchasing of great part of family agriculture and cattle raising production. O presente artigo faz uma análise da relação entre algumas políticas públicas aplicadas ao setor agropecuário familiar, e seus efeitos para o desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar no Brasil. São analisados: o Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar – Pronaf, que vem contribuindo fortemente para o desenvolvimento do setor, principalmente na região Sul do país; a implementação da Previdência Social Rural como paliativo à exclusão social; e o Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos – PAA, que dá garantia de compra a parte da produção agropecuária familiar.</text>

                <text>O objetivo deste artigo foi conhecer o interesse dos agricultores familiares quanto à perspectiva da criação de organismos aquáticos em lotes agrícolas. A pesquisa foi conduzida na comunidade Agroextrativista Nova Esperança, localizada na ilha João Pilatos no município de Ananindeua/PA. O percurso da pesquisa consistiu, em utilizar as ferramentas metodológicas do Diagnóstico Rural Participativo (DRP) como as observações in loco, 30 entrevistas e caminhadas transversais. O diagnóstico mostrou que a maioria dos agricultores é do sexo masculino. Os mesmos compreendem que importante implantar algum tipo de cultivo aquícola em seu lote, destacando a piscicultura em maior relevância. Há uma predominância da espécie exótica tilápia-do-nilo, também foram identificadas espécies nativas como o tambaqui e a pirapitinga, e o híbrido “tambacu” (fêmea de tambaqui x macho do pacu) como possíveis animais para o cultivo. Desse modo, na comunidade atividade de piscicultura poderá ser desenvolvida pela agricultura de caráter familiar, tal atividade pode se configurar em uma possível alternativa para o fortalecimento das famílias e da economia local</text>
