One of the objectives of Spatial Data Infrastructures is the universalization of access and use of geographic information. Software as a fundamental component of them becomes a reason for discussion by those who wish to implement them. Therefore, the use of free software for the creation of services within them, direct the community concerning choosing between open licensing software and proprietary software. The objective of this study is to propose a configuration of three geoservices: Web Features Service - WFS, Web Map Service - WMS, and Catalog Service Web - CSW, on a layer of free access and free of charge offered by the Amazon company. The configuration and deployment of open source software are described, which allows us to generate geospatial services for the light or heavy clients, selecting shapefiles available for download from Open Data sites.

In places where beans are cultivated by family farmers without major investment in inputs, in the long run organic fertilisers can come to supplement or even replace chemical fertilisers in the field. In view of this, the aim was to evaluate productive performance in plants of the common bean cultivated with cattle manure, biofertiliser, inoculants and mineral fertiliser, both singly and in combination. The experiment was conducted under rainfed conditions in the town of São João, in the State of Pernambuco, Brazil (PE), during the 2013 crop year. The experimental design was of randomised blocks, comprising nine treatments with three replications: T - control; E - cattle manure; B - biofertiliser; I - inoculant; EI - cattle manure + inoculant; BI - biofertiliser + inoculant; EB - cattle manure + biofertiliser; EBI - cattle manure + biofertiliser + inoculant; AM - mineral fertiliser. The cattle manure (40 t ha-1), whether applied singly (E) or together with biofertiliser and/ or inoculant (EI, EB, EBI), gave a significant increase in pod length and the number of pods per plant, as well as in straw yield and crop productivity. Alternative methods of fertilisation (E, EI, EB, EBI) can replace mineral fertiliser in the cultivation of beans, however, inoculant or biofertiliser should not be used singly for production of the common bean under rainfed conditions.= Onde o cultivo do feijão é realizado por agricultores familiares sem grandes investimentos em insumos, a adubação orgânica pode vir a suplementar ou, até mesmo, substituir os adubos químicos, a longo prazo, na lavoura. Diante disso, objetivou-se avaliar o desempenho produtivo do feijão comum cultivado com esterco bovino, biofertilizante, inoculante, adubação mineral e diferentes combinações desses. O experimento foi realizado em condições de sequeiro, no município de São João-PE, no ano agrícola de 2013. O delineamento experimental foi em blocos ao acaso, com três repetições, constituído por nove tratamentos ( T - testemunha; E - esterco; B - biofertilizante; I - inoculante; EI - esterco + inoculante; BI – biofertilizante + inoculante; EB - esterco + biofertilizante; EBI - esterco + biofertilizante + inoculante; AM - adubação mineral). O esterco bovino (40 t ha-1), quer isolado (E), quer associado ao biofertilizante e/ou inoculante (EI, EB, EBI), proporcionou aumento significativo no comprimento de vagem, no número de vagem por planta, bem como no rendimento da palha e na produtividade da cultura do feijão. Os métodos alternativos de adubação (E, EI, EB, EBI) podem substituir a fertilização mineral no cultivo de feijão, contudo, o inoculante e o biofertilizante não devem ser empregados de maneira isolada para produção do feijão comum de sequeiro.. ..

O estudo visa analisar as contribuições das cooperativas agropecuárias sobre a sucessão nos estabelecimentos agropecuários familiares. Foi conduzido como estudo de casos amostrados através de critérios institucionais e geográficos, envolvendo oito cooperativas. Os dados foram coletados com entrevistas junto aos dirigentes e jovens rurais vinculados com as organizações. Também foram utilizadas fontes documentais. Esses dados foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. Notou-se interesse das cooperativas agropecuárias sobre a sucessão, com o desenvolvimento de ações voltadas a condicionantes socioeconômicas significantes aos jovens rurais. Embora os resultados alcançados sejam tímidos, a contribuição das cooperativas agropecuárias mostrou-se relevante à sucessão na agricultura familiar.

La incidencia de los riesgos ecológicos y socio-económicos en los países latinoamericanos tiende a aumentar durante los últimos años. Lo mismo ocurre con el grado de vulnerabilidad siendo éste, antes que nada, una función de la posición social de los actores. Esta contribución está dedicada a la discusión de los diversos conceptos de riesgo y vulnerabilidad con una perspectiva interdisciplinar. Con relación al riesgo, se observan dos posiciones básicas: desde el punto de vista de las ciencias naturales, se considera riesgo como una función de la probabilidad de un evento y de la magnitud de sus posibles daños. Desde esta perspectiva “objetivista”, el análisis de los riesgos apunta a la cuantifi cación y valoración. En las ciencias sociales predomina, por otro lado, una perspectiva “constructivista” del riesgo, que se focaliza, de una manera cualitativa, en la infl uencia de las percepciones y decisiones de los actores sobre la construcción social del riesgo. Con relación a la vulnerabilidad, en el análisis se diferencia entre la exposición (al riesgo), por un lado, y la capacidad de reacción (o de dominación), por el otro, formando estos dos aspectos una “estructura doble” de vulnerabilidad con un lado externo y otro interno. En el contexto latinoamericano los conceptos de riesgo y vulnerabilidad manifi estan su relevancia no solamente por la exposición a riesgos naturales y cambios climáticos, sino también por la exposición de gran parte de las sociedades latinoamericanas a los riesgos que resultan de la inserción en la globalización y en las políticas neoliberales.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue evaluar la diversidad zoológica asociada a un silvopastoreo con leucaena-guinea, por medio de la caracterización de la composición y estructura de las aves, insectos y la macrofauna del suelo, en cuatro edades de establecimiento (3, 4, 5 y 6 años de explotación). Con las especies registradas en cada uno de estos grupos zoológicos, se calcularon los índices ecológicos: número de individuos, riqueza, diversidad y abundancia de especies, en diferentes edades del sistema. En todos los grupos, se apreció el aumento significativo en la riqueza de especies y en el índice de diversidad biológica de Shannon, en la medida que se desarrolló el sistema. Se observó incremento en la abundancia de insectos biorreguladores y, en relación con las aves, el horario de muestreo no mostró interacción con los distintos años de siembra. La macrofauna se incrementó, observándose dominancia de anélidos al 6º y 7º año de explotación, caracterizado por Polyferetrina elongata y Oligochaeta elegans. El desarrollo del silvopastoreo leucaena-guinea logra sistemas productivos pecuarios que aumentan la producción de biomasa y de otros componentes biológicos y contribuir para crear un sistema sostenible y compatible con el ambiente.The aim of this work was to evaluate the associated zoological diversity of a silvopastural system leucaena-guinea grass, by characterizing the composition and structures of the birds, insects and the macrofauna of the soil, in four establishment times of the silvopastural systems (3, 4, 5 and 6 years of exploitation). For the species recorded in each zoological group, the following ecological indices were determined: number of individuals, richness, diversity and abundance of species, in each establishment times of the system. A significant increase, in all the zoological groups, was observed for the richness of species and for the index of biological diversity of Shannon, as the system developed. An increase in the abundance of bioregulator insects was observed, and for the birds, the sampling time showed no interaction with the different sowing years. The macrofauna of the soil increased during the management of the system, and a dominance of annelids (Polyferetrina elongata and Oligochaeta elegans) was noted during the 6th and 7th year of exploitation. The silvopastural system leucaena-guinea grass increases the biomass production and other biological components, and contributes to create a sustainable system which is compatible with the environment.

A agricultura familiar constitui o grupo social majoritário de unidades produtivas do meio rural latino-americano. Nos anos recentes, houve avanços importantes em relação ao reconhecimento de seu papel no desenvolvimento rural e na superação da pobreza. Várias organizações internacionais lançaram estudos para afirmar o papel estratégico dos pequenos produtores na segurança alimentar. Neste artigo, apresenta-se a agricultura familiar na América Latina e no Caribe e se discute a sua presença em diferentes países mediante o uso de dados estatísticos disponíveis, assim como se analisa as suas potencialidades para fortalecer o desenvolvimento rural. O trabalho inicia com uma discussão sobre os elementos que contribuíram para o interesse crescente dos estudiosos e formuladores de políticas na agricultura familiar e, na sequência, analisa-se suas características e a distribuição em diferentes países. O trabalho conclui que a agricultura familiar possui um papel central para o desenvolvimento rural da região latinoamericana e encerra com uma análise sobre as principais potencialidades em face do quadro político e institucional.

No Estado do Paraná, em 1999 foi criado o programa Agroindústria Familiar “Fábrica do Agricultor”-PFA, com o objetivo de agregar valor aos produtos oriundos da agricultura familiar através da verticalização da produção pela agroindustrialização de pequeno porte. Assim, o objetivo geral deste estudo consistiu em avaliar o programa Agroindústria Familiar “Fábrica do Agricultor”. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida de forma descritiva quanto à abordagem dos seus objetivos, com a utilização das técnicas de pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa documental e levantamento, com a utilização de entrevistas estruturadas. A política apresentou resultados diferenciados entre os objetivos propostos, sendo extremamente bem sucedida nos objetivos de inovação tecnológica, foco no mercado e apoio à agricultura familiar. Ficou evidenciado a relevância da agricultura familiar no estado paranaense e a significativa contribuição das políticas públicas para o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar.

Las diatomeas bentónicas forman biopelículas debido a las sustancias que secretan, que les permite mantenerse adheridas al sustrato. A ellas se asocian bacterias que, dada las condiciones no axénicas de los cultivos, pueden alterar el valor nutricional de las mismas. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue caracterizar la microbiota bacteriana asociada a los cultivos de las microalgas bentónicas Navicula germanopolonica y Amphora sp., especies utilizadas para la precría del camarón en cultivo. Se aislaron e identificaron las 10 colonias m{s abundantes que aparecieron en los cultivos de cada especie. Las características macro y microscópicas se determinaron por el método de Brown (2012) y para la identificación se empleó la metodología API 20 NE y API 50 CHB para bacilos Gram negativos no enterobacterias y bacilos esporulados Gram positivos respectivamente. Se determinaron las actividades antibacteriana, amilolítica, hemolítica, proteolítica y lipolítica de algunas cepas. El alto porcentaje de bacilos Gram positivos esporulados, asociados a los cultivos de las microalgas estudiadas, le confieren un efecto probiótico cuando éstos se utilizan en la alimentación de organismos acu{ticos. Las bacterias del género Bacillus fueron las m{s abundantes y las de mayores capacidades bioactivas por lo que resultan una fuente potencial de obtención de estas sustancias. La microbiota bacteriana que se encontró en los cultivos de N. germanopolonica y Amphora sp., evidencian las potencialidades de la misma ya que en la actualidad se ha incrementado la búsqueda de sustancias de interés a partir de fuentes marinas. ABSTRACT Benthic diatoms forms biofilms due to secrete substances, which allows them to remain adhered to the substratum. These microalgae have associated bacteria, that given the non axenic conditions of the cultures can alter the nutritional value. The aim of the present work was to characterize the bacterial microbiota associatAmphora sp. ed to the cultures of the benthic microalgae Navicula germanopolonica and Amphora sp., species used for the shrimp hatchery. They were isolated and it identified the 10 more abundant colonies that it appeared in the cultures of each species. The characteristic macro and microscopic they were determined by the Brown´ method (2012) and for the identification the methodology API was used 20 NE and API 50 CHB for bacteria non-enteric Gram negative rods and Gram positive sporulated rods respectively. The activities antibacterial, amilolitic hemolitic, proteolitic and lipolitic of some stumps were determined. The high percentage of sporulating Gram positive bacilli, associated to the cultures of the studied microalgae, confers him an probiotic effect when these are used in the feeding of aquatic organisms. The bacteria of the genero Bacillus was the most abundant and those of more capacities bioactivity for what they are a potential source of obtaining of these substances. The bacterial microbiota that was in the cultures of N. germanopolonica and Amphora sp., they evidence the potentialities of the same one since at the present time the search of substances of interest it has been increased starting from marine sources.
