Analisou-se a adesão ao programa em oito dias não consecutivos, em cada escola, definindo-a como o ato do estudante de se servir da alimentação escolar. Calculou-se o Índice de Atendimento Efetivo (%IAE = total de alunos atendidos/total de alunos presentes na escola x 100), classificando-o em: alta (acima de 70%), média (50 a 70%), baixa (30 a 50%) e muito baixa adesão (> 30%). Foram entrevistados atores envolvidos na gestão e na execução do programa, incluindo-se nutricionista responsável técnica na época, o coordenador administrativo do programa e um servidor do setor de Vigilância Sanitária. As entrevistas foram feitas com questionário aberto e semiestruturado. Observou-se alta adesão (75,2%) nas 56 refeições avaliadas e alta adesão/escola em 71,42% das mesmas. A adesão mais alta foi em escola da zona rural. Ao analisar cada escola, somente 1 teve todas as preparações com alta adesão, também na zona rural. Preparações completas foram ofertadas em sua maioria na zona rural, e, nas urbanas, lanches e sobremesas. As entrevistas mostraram fragilidades no Conselho de Alimentação Escolar e variedade expressiva de frutas, legumes e verduras adquiridos da agricultura familiar. Os tratamentos resultaram da combinação entre cinco níveis do fator plantas forrageiras (Brachiaria decumbens, Brachiaria brizantha, Panicum maximum, milho sem forrageira e em convivência com plantas daninhas e milho capinado) e três níveis do fator plantas daninhas (Ipomoea grandifolia - corda-de-viola, Amaranthus hybridus - caruru-roxo e Digitaria horizontalis - capim-colchão). Durante a condução do experimento avaliaram-se a área foliar (cm² por planta), a massa seca (g por planta) e o rendimento (t ha ¹) obtido pela cultura do milho, em cada tratamento. Pôde-se observar que a consorciação da cultura do milho com as plantas forrageiras, embora também provoque reduções de produtividade, atenua as perdas que ocorrem quando a cultura está em competição exclusiva com as plantas daninhas e garante o maior dinamismo, utilização e proteção do solo. Como conclusão geral, a pesquisa demonstrou a viabilidade da aplicação do sistema de consórcio, sobretudo no âmbito da agricultura familiar.The objective of this work was to evaluate the consequences of adopting a consortium system on weed suppression and consequent corn crop growth and yield. The treatments consisted of combinations of five levels of the factor grass forages (Brachiaria decumbens, Brachiaria brizantha, Panicum maximum, corn without forage and with weed competition and hand-weeded corn) and three levels of the factor weeds (Ipomoea grandifolia, Amaranthus hybridus and Digitaria horizontalis).Leaf area (cm² per plant), dry mass (g per plant) and yield (t ha-1) obtained by the corn crop were evaluated in each treatment. Although also causing yield reductions, corn crop consortium with the grass forages was found to attenuate the losses occurring when the culture is under exclusive competition, thus ensuring a greater soil dynamism, use and protection. The overall conclusion was that this work showed the viability of applying this consortium system, especially within the context of family farming. This new way of thinking about agroecosystems is a way to guarantee healthy food with social inclusion, recovery of traditional values and valuation of family production and environmental conservation, however, it requires a phase of transition. Thus it was analyzed the main motivations and limitations of the producers of the Cachoeira settlement in the construction of the agroecological transition process in the city of Itapura, São Paulo. The study was a qualitative research divided into two stages, in the first one it was applied a semi-structured questionnaire for reality diagnose and in the second stage a meeting with the methodology of the storm type of ideas to survey the motivations and limitations for the agroecological transition in the settlement. The study allowed us to understand that, despite not meeting the prerequisites understood as necessary for the agroecological transition process, families have sought to build, based on their reality and with their resources, new strategies to build a process of change to achieve autonomy, improving the environment and quality of life. Los logaritmos de Ca y Mg tuvieron tendencia espacial cuadrática, y ellos y el log K presentaron semivariogramas experimentales que sugieren una distribución en parches. Los tres mapas de log Ca y los tres de log Mg fueron muy similares entre sí y prácticamente zonifi caron el lote de igual manera. Los dos mapas de log K, elaborados con y sin covariables, fueron muy diferentes y produjeron dos zonifi caciones distintas. Según los mapas obtenidos, la fertilización con Mg y K puede hacerse con técnicas de manejo por sitio específi co. En cambio, con Ca debe hacerse una aplicación generalizada a todo el lote, basada en el promedio de su contenido, como se ha hecho tradicionalmente. La metodología empleada es fundamentalmente cualitativa y se basa en dos estudios de caso.Si bien los circuitos analizados presentan diferencias en sus modalidades, organización interna, acceso a capacitación y asesoramiento, y en cuanto a los procesos que generaron su conformación, coinciden en sustentar prácticas productivas que implican un menor uso de insumos químicos, favorecen el desarrollo de nuevas habilidades y una mayor apropiación del valor generado por parte de los productores. Se utilizaron explantes de hijuelos de dos genotipos de Musa cavendish AAA, cultivares ‘Clon Francés’ y ‘Clon Oaxaqueño’. Se evaluaron tres aplicaciones de biofertilizante (1 g de Glomus intraradices, 1 ml de la bacteria diazotrófica 11B y la interacción de ambos microorganismos) y una sin biofertilizantes. Se sembraron los ápices en tres medios de cultivo: MS sin reguladores de crecimiento, MS adicionado con 22.2 μM de bencilaminopurina (BAP) y MS adicionado con 11.4 μM de ácido indolacético (AIA) y 22.2 μM de BAP. Se midieron las relaciones hídricas, el contenido de catalasa y peroxidasa, los explantes con brotes y los brotes por explante. En ambos clones se elevó la inducción de la organogénesis con la adición de BAP y por la biofertilización previa de los hijuelos. En el ‘Clon Oaxaqueño’ los tratamientos 6, 8 y 11 indujeron mayor organogénesis, con promedios entre 66 y 71 % de explantes con brotes y entre 3.16 y 2.28 brotes por explante. Para el ‘Clon Francés’ los tratamientos 8 y 9 elevaron la inducción de la organogénesis con promedios de 66 hasta 83 % de explantes con brotes y 1.83 a 2.16 brotes por explante. En ambos genotipos, los biofertilizantes propiciaron mayor porcentaje de supervivencia, mayor tolerancia a la oxidación y menor contaminación. En los dos genotipos, los tratamientos 1 (Glomus intraradices) y 4 (Testigo) produjeron menos estrés en las plantas.
