Para cada uno de estos paisajes se identificaron los actores que intercambian información entre la escala nacional y el nivel de los productores. Se aplicaron entrevistas para caracterizar los flujos de información y su posible relevancia para promover la AbE en los sistemas productivos de los productores cafetaleros. Resultados. Se identificaron tanto actores claves como vacíos en la red de organizaciones que inhiben la transmisión de información entre escalas y sectores. En Costa Rica, la capacidad de intermediación de información a través de sectores y escalas es repartida entre entidades estatales y organizaciones de productores competitivas. En Honduras, las capacidades de intermediación están repartidas entre algunas organizaciones de la sociedad civil que trabajan a niveles locales cerca a los productores y organizaciones gubernamentales que trabajan a nivel nacional. En Guatemala, las capacidades de intermediación están principalmente repartidas entre organizaciones gubernamentales, de la sociedad civil y privadas principalmente a nivel nacional. Conclusión. El análisis de redes en estos paisajes cafetaleros sugiere que los tres países cuentan con una institucionalidad similar en el sector cafetalero; en dos de ellos, la diseminación de información para promover la AbE beneficiaría a escalas intermedias y locales para promover aprendizaje entre los productores. Among them are filoviruses (e.g., Marburg, Ebola), coronaviruses (e.g., SARS, MERS), henipaviruses (e.g., Hendra, Nipah) which share the common features that they are all RNA viruses, and that a dysregulated immune response is an important contributor to the tissue damage and hence pathogenicity that results from infection in humans. Intriguingly, these viruses also all originate from bat reservoirs. Bats have been shown to have a greater mean viral richness than predicted by their phylogenetic distance from humans, their geographic range, or their presence in urban areas, suggesting other traits must explain why bats harbor a greater number of zoonotic viruses than other mammals. Bats are highly unusual among mammals in other ways as well. Given the importance of GSH, a simple strategy is proposed in this work to develop a biosensor for quantitative detection of GSH. This particular biosensor comprises of gold nanoparticles (Au NPs)-immobilized, hierarchically ordered titanium dioxide (TiO2) porous nanotubes. Hexagonally arranged, honeycomb-like nanoporous tubular TiO2 electrodes are prepared by using a simple electrochemical anodization process by applying a constant potential of 30 V for 24 hours using ethylene glycol consisting of ammonium fluoride as an electrolytic medium. Structural morphology and crystalline nature of such TiO2 nanotubes are analyzed using field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Interestingly, nanocomposites of TiO2 with Au NPs is prepared in an effort to alter the intrinsic properties of TiO2, especially tuning of its band gap. Au NPs are prepared by a well-known Brust and Schiffrin method and are immobilized onto TiO2 electrodes which act as a perfect electrochemical sensing platform for GSH detection. Structural characterization and analysis of these modified electrodes are performed using FESEM, XRD, and UV-visible spectroscopic studies. GSH binding events on Au NPs-immobilized porous TiO2 electrodes are monitored by electrochemical techniques, namely, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA). Several parameters such as sensitivity, selectivity, stability, limit of detection, etc are investigated. In addition, Au NPs dispersed in aqueous medium are also explored for naked-eye detection of GSH using UV-visible spectroscopy in order to compare the performance of the proposed sensor. Our studies clearly indicate that these materials could potentially be used for GSH sensing applications. Fecha de lectura: Julio 2019 Creator An entity primarily responsible for making the resource Jose Antonio González Díaz Description An account of the resource En esta tesis doctoral se aborda las relaciones entre los modelos de gestión del territorio, el paisaje y la agrobiodiversidad en área de la montaña centro-oriental asturiana, la Reserva de la Biosfera, integrada por los municipios de Sobrescobio y Caso. Para estudiar dichas relaciones a largo de los dos últimos siglos en se empleó  el análisis geográfico regional como metodología integradora acompañada de la ecología del paisaje. El análisis reveló la incapacidad de la población local, por número y por envejecimiento, para hacer frente al reto de la conservación; la pérdida de conocimiento ecológico local como elemento clave en la gestión presente y futura de del territorio;  así como la no consecución de los objetivos iniciales del espacio natural protegido y su impotencia para resolver la crisis socioeconómica y ambiental de este enclave de montaña. Todo ello se manifiesta en una tendencia al cierre gradual del paisaje y a la pérdida de su carácter en mosaico, así como en una evolución regresiva  de la agrobiodiversidad.
