In this work, a very important Mediterranean site as it was Ibiza is analysed. The Spanish Monarchy had mult huge stone walls in Ibiza in the XVIth century arming them to defend the island in trie first decades of the XVIIth century. Notwithstanding, because of its economic difficulties, the spanish monarchy couldn't afford the defence of the island. The royal garrison of Ibiza hived a terrible life in the island and the island's inhabitants depended to subsist on a very precarious farming and on the variability of the climatology. The salt, which was the unique exportation of the island, was in decadence. Not withstanstanding, the island was surrounded by enemies. In the Barroque, the Ibiza situation instead of producing a mutiny between civilians and soldiers, produced a certain level of cooperation between them. The payment of the troops was the unique safety mean to ensure the bought of grain to fead the island in the worst moments of scarcity.</text>

Its main objective was to evaluate the effect of the application of biofertilizer (Azospirillum sp and Micorrizas) in combinations of crops (lettuce and radish, or beet and radish). The research included four different treatments: witness, Micorrizas, Azospirillum, Azospirillum +Micorrizas. We used an at random block design. Data were processed after evaluating yields components by using the statistical software called Statgraphics, version 5.0. The research showed a positive response to the application of biofertilizers, resulting in a considerable increase of profits.</text>

We sought to identify the elements that made possible the approximation of the communities to the Forum, this with more than a decade of existence at the time of entry of the representatives of the first maroon communities and the resulting impact of that involvement. The survey results indicate that the entry of the first communities to the Forum was not automatic, as opposed to being influenced by political-institutional context, the action of social mediators and the mobilization of resources.</text>

<text>The main pretension in this work is to get to know and to recognize the role of thewoman farmer in the new productive processes that update the place of the rural in thecontemporary societies. The starting point is the organic farming system. One interests to identifythe strategies adopted by the family farming for increasing and supporting ways of living therural world. At the same time, one interests to identify the possibilities to make the rural space –in the context of the modern societies – visible. In this context, one researched the organicfarming in the urban area of Curitiba (RMC). One analyzed who are the farmers involved in theprocess, and inside of it, one tried to indicate what is the role of the woman farmer, from theproductive process to the necessary sociability to keep an “alive rural world” where the organicfarming appears as a strategy.</text>
