The consequences of this phenomenon are presented mainly the rise in temperature and changes in the hydrological cycle (rain) among the most important. The generator of an electrical system influences the environmental conditions of their surroundings, due to the production of electricity based on nonrenewable resources used by thermoelectric generation which consumes fossil fuels, this technology results in the emission of pollutants and gas greenhouse; whose magnitude depends on their participation in the energy matrix of the system. To determine the volume of CO2 emissions generated per MWh of electricity produced, each electrical system must calculate the CO2 emission factor from electrical network, in this paper the methodology ACM0002 is used for calculating the factor established by the Framework Convention on Climate Change United Nations (UNFCCC) for its acronym in English. It requires adequate structuring information of electricity production and consumption for each fuel type thermoelectric units shipped in an electrical system. In the case of Ecuador methodology is applied to the electric network called the National Interconnected System (SNI). Analysis calculated for the period 2009-2014 the annual CO2 emission factor tCO2/MWh for each type thermoelectric generation dispatched in the SNI.</text>

In Brazil, a great number of small farms still use manual planters, especially in hilly and stony areas. These machines have not received significant design improvements since the start of their usage. Some of these planters available in the market have been tested for their seeding performance for corn. Each machine was set up to deliver two seeds each time. Only a few planters resulted in a low standard deviation and number of seeds close to the target. The performance of the seed meter was affected by the manufacturing quality of the machines.</text>

<text>Crop weeds are the main problem in agriculture, causing a worldwide annual loss of about US$95 billion. The principal method for control is the use of synthetic herbicides. The continued use of these products increases crop costs, reduces crop quality, and leaves toxic residues in the environment, which are a threat to human and livestock health. Therefore, there is a demand for environmentally friendly methods of weed control. The use of allelopathic compounds from crop residues is an alternative. Orange is one of the biggest crops in the world, and its cultivation generates large amounts of residues. There is strong evidence of bioactivity in orange peel essential oil. Therefore, the objective in this work was to verify the allelopathic proprieties of this oil. We extracted the oil from the peels of recently discarded oranges using water vapor flow with a Clevenger extractor, and tested it against the growth of Euphorbia heterophylla L. and Ipomoea grandifolia (Dammer) O'Donell seedlings when placed in contact with the oil vapor. The results were both quantitative and qualitative in the inhibition of the seedlings. Entretanto, o uso continuado desses produtos encarece a produção, reduz a qualidade dos alimentos, deixa resíduos tóxicos no ambiente e ameaça a saúde humana e animal.
