Para o desenvolvimento de sistemas orgânicos de produção de morangos é fundamental a escolha de cultivares adequadas a esse sistema, as quais, submetidas ao manejo e às condições ecológicas da região, determinarão a produtividade e a qualidade dos frutos. O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar a produtividade e a suscetibilidade da cultivar Tudla, Tangi, Camarosa, Toyonoca e Seascape às doenças e às pragas em cultivo orgânico. Todas as cultivares apresentaram boa adaptação ao sistema de cultivo orgânico. Houve destaque na produtividade da cultivar Tangi, Tudla e Camarosa. A cultivar Tudla e a Tangi mostraram-se menos suscetíveis às doenças foliares.

The role of domestic cats in the dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 remains poorly characterized, especially in epidemiologic contexts of countries with high viral transmission. Here, we report the first evidence of SARS-CoV-2 Lambda variant of interest in symptomatic domestic cats whose owners were diagnosed with COVID-19 in Lima, Peru, providing evidence that transmission of this new variant in domestic cats is occurring. More epidemiological studies are required to further characterize the role of domestic animals in the transmission dynamics of SARS-CoV-2.

Se describen las percepciones, representaciones y acciones de jóvenes universitarios frente al cambio climático. Corresponde a una investigación cuantitativa no experimental de nivel descriptiva y enmarcada en el paradigma empírico-analítico. Participaron en el estudio 541 jóvenes de pregrado de una universidad pública de la ciudad de Cúcuta. Se diseñó un cuestionario que integró tres variables: aspectos sociodemográficos, percepciones y representaciones, y acciones frente al cambio climático. El instrumento fue validado a través de juicio de expertos y una prueba piloto. Los resultados del estudio muestran que los jóvenes universitarios tienen ideas, imágenes y conceptos fragmentados en torno al cambio climático, los cuales influyen en las escasas acciones y estrategias que se diseñan para aprontar el fenómeno en mención.

Tem-se como principal objetivo analisar a organização do Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos da Agricultura Familiar (PAA) no espaço agrícola do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Utilizamos como fonte de dados as ações da superintendência da Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento CONAB-SP (2012). De acordo com as ações do PAA no espaço agrícola paulista, constatou-se que o PAA apresentou desempenho relativo melhor que o conjunto das outras superintendências regionais; a modalidade Compra com Doação Simultânea atinge número mais expressivo de municípios; o PAA vem sendo aplicado com maior intensidade em favor dos agricultores familiares e assentados de regiões administrativas mais empobrecidas; há forte vínculo do PAA com os assentamentos de reforma agrária; o PAA parece complementar o PRONAF, na medida em que atende com maior intensidade justamente aqueles agricultores com maiores dificuldades de acesso ao programa de crédito rural. Levando-se em conta as intenções expressas formalmente na criação do PAA, em especial aquela de procurar atender os agricultores familiares com menor renda, as análises deste trabalho apontam que a mesma vem sendo cumprida no caso do estado de São Paulo, embora os recursos do Programa e o número de agricultores familiares ainda seja reduzido em relação ao seu público potencial.

O objetivo da pesquisa foi verificar a percepção ambiental e os indicadores de ambientalização curricular dos cursos de Engenharia de um Centro universitário em Araçatuba-SP. Trata-se de uma pesquisa aplicada de natureza qualitativa utilizando como método o estudo de caso. Fez-se a análise do PDI e dos PPCs de cinco cursos de Engenharia (Civil, Mecânica, Elétrica, Computação e Mecatrônica) onde foram levantadas a presença dos radicais: ambient*,sustent*, natur*, ecolog*, soc* e conserv. Os resultados mostram que o radical mais frequente foi o soc* seguido o radical ambiente* enquanto que os outros indicadores foram presentes em um menor número. Conclui-se que os cursos estudados apresentam um baixo indice de ambientalização

Resumen: Élisée Reclus nos dejó un gran legado con el que enfoca al ser humano como parte intrínseca de la naturaleza. Este manuscrito, elaborado a partir de los textos de Reclus y de autores estudiosos de su obra, tiene como propósito examinar las reflexiones reclusianas sobre las relaciones sociedad-naturaleza en el espacio y en el tiempo desde un movimiento dialéctico, y como éstas pueden deteriorar el medio natural. En su análisis, engendrado a partir de un planteamiento que refuta el enfoque determinista, Reclus hace hincapié en los límites de la naturaleza y defiende la necesidad de formar una conciencia medioambiental, con la finalidad de comprenderla mejor y actuar sobre la misma, preservando su equilibrio. Por sus aportaciones metodológicas a los estudios geográficos y a la ecología, con las que brinda al desarrollo una visión ecológica del mundo y en particular al razonamiento ecológico-social, Reclus merece ser considerado un proto-ecologista.
