The object study are the peasant cooperatives maranhenses highlighting the south and West where these farmers are organized in a network order to strengthen the struggle in defense of Cerrado and the Amazônia trough another productive logic. The research is of a nature documentary theoretical dialogue between the anthropological thought and Marxism. The reality of family faming in Brasil and also are Maranhão presented in tables and plenty of numbers that reflect the importance these peasants to produce food and the need to rethink our agricultural and agrarian structure. We collect data on how is this relationship and the need for public to watch for such emergencies. Finally, we conclude that is a class conflict that presents itself on other fronts that not only agricultural, but the productive as well.</text>

Agroenergetic Policies for the production of biofuels is presented under the assumptions of sustainable development. The ethanol fuel, produced from sugarcane, appears as a more viable alternative, which stimulates growth of new processes and spatial distribution of the sugarcane production. Goiás state is one of the main routes of expansion of the sugarcane. This article aims to understand the contradictions of the social issues within the official discourse of the National Plan of Agroenergy and the impacts associated with the expansion of sugarcane monoculture in regions of predominance of family farming. The development of the theme is based on a case study, conducted in Itapuranga city (Goiás state), using a qualitative approach and combining the techniques of literature search, observation and interviews. It was found that these policies helped to transform the social context of Itapuranga and cause considerable changes in the organizational dynamics of family farmers.</text>

This paper aims at analyzing the relations between the emergence of pluriactivity and the transformations in the socio-productive organization of family agriculture. First, I will present a brief background on Brazilian family agriculture, the changes occurred in social work relations in the field, and then I will more specifically address the topic of pluriactivity in a case study in Vila Freire, in the city of Cerrito/RS. It is worth emphasizing that the diversity of forms used to allocate labor converges to the expansion of possibilities and social reproduction strategies and retention of families in rural areas.</text>
