O foco deste trabalho de pesquisa foi apresentar um diagnstico da realidade atual da Associao Harmonia de Agricultura Familiar ASHAGAFA, do municpio de Jaraguari, MS, organizao associativista de agricultura familiar, financiada pelo Fundo de Terras e da Reforma Agrria no Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, de suas condies de sustentabilidade e cuidados ambientais gerais. Na investigao do perfil scio-econmico e cultural dos seus associados, das condies gerais de produo e cuidados ambientais adotados pela associao, da situao econmica atual da associao e associados e viso destas associaes pelo ngulo do Programa de Crdito Fundirio de MS. Definiu-se como pesquisa descritiva exploratria do tipo estudo de caso e pautou-se em resultados obtidos por meio de aplicao de questionrios, entrevista e visita in loco. A anlise dos dados encontrados permitiu identificar que se trata de uma associao em sistema de propriedade pr-indiviso, com produo do tipo associao de cooperao mtua, com maior populao de associados em faixa etria abaixo dos 50 anos (47,1%), e, portanto em idade produtiva, mas que pode tornar-se crtica a curto prazo, pois h 41,2% acima dos 50 anos; 76,5% so homens; grau de instruo entre o ensino fundamental e o ensino mdio; mdia de dois filhos por famlia; renda atual na faixa do salrio mnimo oficial, obtida em atividades fora da Associao; reas de produo comum em situao de abandono, com problemas ambientais como eroso e degradao de solo por erro de manejo; inadimplentes com o Fundo de Terras e da Reforma Agrria / Banco da Terra e PRONAF, do Banco do Brasil. Em processo de renegociao das dvidas com o Programa Nacional de Crdito Fundirio. Sugeriu-se uma ao diagnstica especfica para a Associao, para aps ocorrer o planejamento e execuo de atividades de apoio, pesquisa social e fomento do desenvolvimento sustentvel no interior dessas comunidades, como alternativa de mudar o rumo da histria desse contingente humano.

O principal objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar o processo de formação das associações de produtores rurais familiares no município de Brejetuba-ES. Essa análise baseou-se em informações obtidas mediante aplicação de questionários e realização de entrevistas, considerando uma amostra representativa de agricultores integrantes das associações do município. Concluiu-se que o associativismo mostrou-se uma alternativa importante para superar os desafios impostos aos agricultores familiares do município. Fomentadas inicialmente pelo Estado, mas alicerçadas no estoque de capital social, as associações cumprem um papel decisivo para a melhoria da estrutura produtiva, da renda e da qualidade de vida dos associados.

A agricultura familiar é parte importante do agronegócio brasileiro e sul-mato-grossense. Para fortalecer o processo produtivo e comercial, as famílias de agricultores buscam alternativas como a atuação conjunta através de associações e cooperativas. Estabelece-se que a cooperação é uma variável que pode lhes proporcionar maior competitividade frente ao mercado, sendo facilitada através do capital social. O trabalho teve por objetivo a análise do capital social na cooperativa COOP-GRANDE, no município de Campo Grande (MS), bem como identificar sua influência sobre as Agricultura familiar e cooperação:caso da COOP-GRANDE...470relações entre os membros da cooperativa. Foram entrevistados associados da cooperativa a partir de um questionário semiestruturado, elaborado de forma a abranger variáveis que caracterizam as interações entre os agricultores, analisar a reciprocidade e suas formas entre os associados, e a confiança entre cooperados e destes para com a liderança da cooperativa. Os resultados indicaram a fragilidade do capital social entre os agricultores, com a falta de confiança entre eles. Os associados percebem a importância da cooperativa, mas não a vantagem de trabalhar juntos e de cooperar com os outros sócios da cooperativa.

Analisamos os projetos de agricultura familiar no espaço rural do município de Moju desenvolvidos junto à Agropalma. Sustentamos que essa empresa se apropria da renda da terra via renda camponesa das áreas e dos usos sem estabelecer relações de assalariamento ou mesmo sem ser proprietária de terra. O trabalho esteve fundamentado em categorias, conceitos, teorias e métodos; coletamos dados primários por meio de trabalho de campo e entrevistas. A agricultura familiar é relevante para o processo de modernização tecnológica do agronegócio brasileiro e, principalmente, tem fortes laços regionais. Dessa forma, a agricultura familiar é amortecedora das crises no setor agrícola e agente de desenvolvimento local, mas questiona-se, com este trabalho, se a agricultura familiar constitui-se moderna e competitiva, potencializando o desenvolvimento local sustentável e a melhoria da qualidade de vida no campo. O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi avaliar se as regiões geográficas paranaenses com um modelo agrícola predominante pautado na agricultura familiar possuem melhores indicadores sociais e econômicos. Trata-se de um método de pesquisa aplicado, com estatística descritiva e de correlação entre indicadores socioeconômicos e dos dados do censo Agropecuário de 1995/1996 e 2006. Como resultado observou-se que onde a agricultura familiar é predominante verifica-se melhores indicadores econômicos e sociais. Ainda, o estudo demonstrou como esse modo de produção caracteriza-se por ser o maior gerador de empregos no meio rural e promover a sustentabilidade ambiental na agricultura.

Atualmente, as políticas destinadas a promover o desenvolvimento rural passam pela abordagem do Território como elemento importante, entendendo o agricultor como um agente social desse espaço. Nesse sentido, o Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário-MDA, por meio da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Territorial-SDT, demarcou, a partir de 2004, inúmeros Territórios Rurais e da Cidadania no Brasil, visando o desenvolvimento social, econômico e cultural da agricultura familiar. Recentemente, a SDT, objetivando fortificar as estratégias da política do desenvolvimento territorial no campo, implantou, em parceria com as universidades, os Núcleos de Extensão em Desenvolvimento Territorial-NEDETs, que têm como objetivo realizar ações extensionistas, de pesquisa e assessoria nos Territórios Rurais e da Cidadania. Portanto, este trabalho tem como objetivo compreender o papel dos NEDETs como estratégia das políticas federais para o desenvolvimento rural. Destacaremos o processo de implantação do NEDET no Sudoeste Goiano, iniciado em 2015, destacando seus desafios, avanços e perspectivas. Este trabalho caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa básica de caráter exploratório e qualitativo. Para a realização deste estudo foram utilizados os seguintes passos metodológicos: pesquisa bibliográfica (teórica e técnica); análise e tabulação de dados e pesquisa de campo por meio das ações do referido núcleo.

O trabalho discute as razões pelas quais se considera ainda necessário no Brasil a implementação de políticas agrícolas e agrárias voltadas para pequenos produtores familiares. São criticadas as visões predominantes, comuns tanto à esquerda quanto à direita, baseadas em falsas analogias com o caso dos países desenvolvidos, as quais consideram que não há mais espaço no país para políticas do tipo proposto. A importância da produção familiar é enfatizada também através de uma breve apresentação dos dados do censo agrícola do IBGE. Finalmente, na seção conclusiva do trabalho são apresentadas algumas propostas de desenvolvimento rural sustentável baseado na produção familiar.
