No obstante, al insertar la conservación de los recursos naturales en una lógica de costo/beneficio, se genera que se desarrollen dinamicas de acaparamiento donde las personas con mayor poder adquisitivo deciden cómo y de qué forma se usan estos recursos. El objetivo del trabajo fue conocer la inclusión de asignaturas agroforestales pecuarias en los planes de estudio de las licenciaturas agropecuarias impartidas en universidades e instituciones públicas y privadas de educación superior, y su relación con la diversidad agroforestal pecuaria del país. Se analizó información sobre el número y porcentajes de Universidades, carreras, planes de estudio y asignaturas agroforestales ofrecidas en cinco carreras agropecuarias seleccionadas (Agronomía, Forestal, Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, Agroecología y Agroforestal). Se encontraron 25 carreras, 30 planes de estudio y 56 asignaturas agroforestales ofrecidas por 16 Universidades públicas de 14 estados del país; 25 asignaturas (44.6%) se ofrecen en la carrera de Agronomía, 17 (30.3 %) en la Agroforestal, 7 (12.5 %) en Forestal, 6 (10.7 %) en Agroecología y 1 (1.8 %) en Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia. La mayoría de asignaturas agroforestales (71.4 %) son obligatorias u optativas (28.6 %), y solo 17 (30.4 %) se relacionan con la agroforestería pecuaria. Las asignaturas agroforestales pecuarias tienen una muy baja oferta en los planes de estudio de las licenciaturas agropecuarias ofrecidas actualmente en México. El número de Universidades, carreras, planes de estudio, asignaturas agroforestales y estados en los que se imparten no corresponde con la diversidad de sistemas agroforestales ganaderos del país, por lo que la incorporación de dichas asignaturas en las licenciaturas agropecuarias es incipiente y debe reforzarse. El diseño se realizó en función del objetivo productivo y agroecología del sitio. Se brindó acompañamiento técnico durante la implementación y se evaluó a partir de seis meses de establecido: 1) comportamiento del ganado en pastoreo; 2) efecto de incluir harina de Leucaena leucocephala (HL) y de maíz (HM) en el suplemento: T1 = 100 % HM, T2 = 50 % HM + 50 % HL, T3 = 25 % HM + 75 % HL, sobre la producción de leche de 11 vacas Cebú-Suizo en pastoreo; y 4) satisfacción de usuarios. La biomasa de L. leucocephala fue de 2.71 t MS ha-1 a los seis meses de edad (29-01-2018), momento en que se sometió al ganado en un primer pastoreo, observándose ligero ramoneo, no así en segundo pastoreo (45 días después de la poda). Aunque no hubo diferencia (P=0.142), se incrementó la producción láctea (4.74 y 4.61 %) en las vacas con T2 y T3. La percepción y actitud de los usuarios hacia la innovación tecnológica fue positiva. Los SSPi representan una opción para mejorar la ganadería tropical. El objetivo del presente estudio fue estimar y mapear el área bajo el cultivo de caña y evaluar su estado de salud mediante el algoritmo NDVI (Índice Normalizado de Vegetación), derivado del procesamiento e interpretación de imágenes Landsat-7/ETM+. Los resultados mostraron un NDVI en el rango de -0.3 a 0.3, que ejemplifica un estado de vigor del cultivo de caña de pobre a moderado debido al estrés. Solamente el 7.98% del total se considera en niveles aceptables. El Índice Normalizado de Vegetación fue un método útil en la identificación y evaluación del cultivo de caña. La agroindustria de la caña de azúcar de la Huasteca puede incrementar su productividad en el futuro mediante el uso de nuevos sistemas de manejo del cultivo y el ambiente para optimizar recursos e incrementar ganancias.
