Often the total amount of dust emissions may exceed the estimated figure for maximum permissible emissions, but their share transferred in sanitary protection zone of dust is negligible. Tailing dump of Kovdor MPE is one of the largest in Russia. The construction of dust dispersion halos was performed using a universal program calculation of air pollution “Ecolog” (Russia). Based on a comparison of dispersed compositions tails similar in composition tailing dumps in Russia, it can be concluded that in the beach area of the Kovdor dump share of dust tranfered to the territory of settlements has ranged from 10 to 40%. It was found that the maximum diameter of the particles carried by the territory of the city under consideration is 50 microns. We can conclude that under the conditions of the object the development of special devices for dust suppression is required.</text>

<text>This article seeks to delimit the field of work of Political Economy of the Environment. A conceptual framework is proposed to deal with environmental problems with an approach that addresses both the collective sphere of the economy and the relations of power and conflict of interest in the appropriation and use of nature. To achieve the overall objective, three specific tasks are identified: review the meaning of political economy, establish the relationship between political economy and environmental problems and contrasting the field of analysis of political economy and environment with other complementary fields of work as political ecology.</text>

Terrestrial mollusks (Mollusca: Gastropoda) of Costa Rica: classification, distribution and conservation. Terrestrial mollusks are poorly known worldwide. The country has 183 reported species, 30% endemic and 7% are probably extinct. About 400 species are expected to inhabit the country. Biology, ecology, distribution, genetics and other areas of research are unknown for more than 95% of the species. The most diverse families are Spiraxidae, Orthalicidae and Subulinidae. However, the family that may have more species is Euconulidae. Euconulids inhabit the highlands, where less work has been done. The study of species of highlands will also rise the endemism rate. Future taxonomic, biological and ecological work should consider their low vagility, tendency to produce new taxa in sympatry, specific microhabitat requirements, hermaphroditism, high evolutionary rate (10% per million years), and divergence between species (2 to 30%). Urgent studies to protect the Costa Rican malacofauna include: distribution, abundance, effect of land use and climate changes on populations. Rev. Biol. Trop. 58 (4): 1165-1175. / Abstract. Trap crops have been considered an alternative strategy to reduce the inoculum of soil pathogens such as Spongospora subterranea f.sp. subterranea. In this work, the incidence of this pathogen was evaluated at three consecutive sowings using different alternative hosts. Plants were sown in pots containing 2 kg of soil inoculated with 1x105 cystosori per gram and harvested every three months. Roots were tested for the presence of cystosori and zoosporangia using light microscopy observations with trypan blue (0.05%) and Real-time PCR (qPCR). Data fitting was performed using Exponential and monomolecular models. According to the estimated incidence values of pathogen structures, plant species Cyphomandra betacea, Physalis peruvianum, Solanum nigrum, Allium cepa, Solanum quitoense and Rumex crispus, significantly reduced the amount of cystosori and zoosporangia after the three consecutive sowings. In contrast, Petroselinum crispum, Pennisetum clandestinum, Zea mays and Solanum lycopersicum increased the incidence of S. subterranea f. sp. subterranea.</text>
