Processes of environmental transformation that currently occur in the climatic change context generate changes in ecosystems and biological communities. ¿How populations respond to these stressors? ¿what effects could occur on taxonomic and ecological diversity? The taxonomic composition and structure of the zooplankton was analyzed with relationship to environmental changes in a tropical water reservoir located at 6º02`18``N and 73º29`16`` W. During four months, samples were taken weekly covering stations of low, medium, and high precipitation. A high degree of temporal variability was established, it associated with a short hydraulic retention time estimated at 8 days. Nine species were collected, of which Keratella tropica tropica and Thermocyclops decipiens were the two most abundant and constant species. Found values of H’ diversity and S richness were considered low, corresponding to a little mature community associated with a fluctuating physical environment and supported by high variation coefficients of electrical conductivity and Sechhi disk transparency. Drastic variations on the system volume in short time lapses generate important changes in the physical expression of system with a direct effect on composition and structure of the zooplankton. In general, the response model of the zooplankton in the reservoir according to the statement by the intermediate disturbance hypothesis. RESPUESTAS DEL ZOOPLANCTON EN UN SISTEMA TROPICAL CON ALTA TENSIÓN AMBIENTAL Los procesos de transformación ambiental que se dan en la actualidad, en un marco de cambio climático, generan modificaciones en los ecosistemas y comunidades biológicas, ¿Cómo responden las poblaciones a estos factores de tensión? ¿Qué efectos se darían sobre la diversidad taxonómica y ecológica? Se analizó la variación de la composición taxonómica y estructura del zooplancton en función de los cambios ambientales en un reservorio tropical ubicado a 6º02`18``N y 73º29`16`` O. Semanalmente se realizaron muestreos en la zona limnética del sistema durante cuatro meses que abarcaron los periodos seco, de transición y de alta precipitación. Se estableció un alto grado de variabilidad temporal asociada al poco tiempo de retención hidráulica estimado en 8 días. Se registraron 9 especies, entre ellas Keratella tropica tropica y Thermocyclops decipiens que fueron las más abundantes y constantes. Los valores de diversidad H´ y riqueza S hallados se consideran bajos, lo que corresponde a una comunidad poco madura vinculada a un ambiente físico fluctuante, evidenciado en los elevados coeficientes de variación de la conductividad eléctrica y la transparencia Secchi. La fluctuación del volumen del sistema en lapsos cortos de tiempo, genera cambios significativos en la expresión física del sistema con efecto directo sobre la composición y estructura del zooplancton. En general el modelo de respuesta del zooplancton en este reservorio, se ajusta a los supuestos de la hipótesis de disturbio intermedio.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), caused by novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), is an ongoing pandemic and presents a public health emergency. It has affected millions of people and continues to affect more, despite tremendous social preventive measures. Identifying candidate drugs for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 is crucial. The pathogenesis and the complications with advanced infection mainly involve an immune-inflammatory cascade. Therefore, therapeutic strategy relies on suppressing infectivity and inflammation, along with immune modulation. One of the most promising therapeutic targets for the modulation of immune-inflammatory responses is the endocannabinoid system, particularly the activation of cannabinoid type 2 receptors (CB2R), a G-protein coupled receptor which mediates the anti-inflammatory properties by modulating numerous signaling pathways. To pharmacologically activate the CB2 receptors, a naturally occurring cannabinoid ligand, beta-caryophyllene (BCP), received attention due to its potent anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and immunomodulatory properties. BCP is recognized as a full selective functional agonist on CB2 receptors and produces therapeutic effects by activating CB2 and the nuclear receptors, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs). BCP is regarded as the first dietary cannabinoid with abundant presence across cannabis and non-cannabis plants, including spices and other edible plants. BCP showed tissue protective properties and favorably modulates numerous signaling pathways and inhibits inflammatory mediators, including cytokines, chemokines, adhesion molecules, prostanoids, and eicosanoids. Based on its pharmacological properties, molecular mechanisms, and the therapeutic potential of BCP as an immunomodulator, anti-inflammatory, organ-protective, and antiviral, we hypothesize that BCP could be a promising therapeutic and/or preventive candidate to target the triad of infection, immunity, and inflammation in COVID-19. In line with numerous studies that proposed the potential of cannabinoids in COVID-19, BCP may be a novel candidate compound for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical development due to its unique functional receptor selectivity, wide availability and accessibility, dietary bioavailability, nonpsychoactivity, and negligible toxicity along with druggable properties, including favorable pharmacokinetic and physicochemical properties. Based on reasonable pharmacological mechanisms and therapeutic properties, we speculate that BCP has potential to be investigated against COVID-19 and will inspire further preclinical and clinical studies.

In general, a mathematical model that contains many linear/nonlinear differential equations, describing a phenomenon, does not have an explicit hierarchy of system variables. That is, the identification of the fast variables and the slow variables of the system is not explicitly clear. The decomposition of a system into fast and slow subsystems is usually based on intuitive ideas and knowledge of the mathematical model being investigated. In this study, we apply the singular perturbed vector field (SPVF) method to the COVID-19 mathematical model of to expose the hierarchy of the model. This decomposition enables us to rewrite the model in new coordinates in the form of fast and slow subsystems and, hence, to investigate only the fast subsystem with different asymptotic methods. In addition, this decomposition enables us to investigate the stability analysis of the model, which is important in case of COVID-19. We found the stable equilibrium points of the mathematical model and compared the results of the model with those reported by the Chinese authorities and found a fit of approximately 96 percent.

Невизначеність поточного навчального року та довгострокового майбутнього в закладах вищої освіти (ЗВО) України і світу, суттєві зміни у національній вищій освіті, дистанціювання процесів навчання й досліджень вимагають термінового комунікативного перезавантаження бібліотек. Мета статті: а) визначення та характеристика особливостей організації віддалено працюючих команд (колективів) бібліотек ЗВО на етапі переведення бібліотечних колективів на дистанційну роботу; б) виявлення підходів, які вже мають місце в Україні в умовах розвитку епідемії COVID-19. Автором досліджувався адміністративний аспект початкового етапу організації переведення колективів бібліотек ЗВО України на дистанційну роботу в перші 2 місяці (13.03–13.05.2020 р.) запровадження карантину в зв’язку з пандемією COVID-19. Здійснено ґрунтовний аналіз фахової літератури, сайтів бібліотек і бібліотечних асоціацій, соціальних мереж та саморефлексії власного досвіду як директорки університетської бібліотеки під час пандемії. Проведені інтерв’ю (22–24 квітня 2020 р.) із 8 директорами бібліотек ЗВО України з метою кращого розуміння організаційних моментів при необхідності швидкого переведення персоналу на віддалену роботу. Здійснено онлайн-анкетування (25–31 травня 2020 р.) 63 керівників і провідних фахівців бібліотек ЗВО України на тему «Моделі віддаленої роботи колективів університетських бібліотек в умовах невизначеності». Визначено першочергові дії керівництва бібліотеки та етапи цих дій при переведенні бібліотечних колективів на віддалену роботу. Виявлено та охарактеризовано чотири моделі організації віддалено працюючих команд (колективів): Модель 1 – «Еталонна»; Модель 2 – «Профі»; Модель 3 – «Стартова»; Модель 4 – «Zero conditional» (умовно нульова). Згідно з аналізом даних онлайн-анкетування, до Моделі 1 свою бібліотеку віднесли 11,11 % респондентів, до Моделі 2 – 50,79 %, до Моделі 3 – 38,10 %, до Моделі 4 – 0 %. Також 93,65 % респондентів підтвердили, що в бібліотеках ЗВО України відбулася швидка адаптація бібліотекарів до віддаленої роботи, обов’язковий компонент якої – поліпшення професійних компетентностей.

Проблема ответа на сенситивные вопросы не имеет универсального решения и варьируется как по темам, так и по странам. Особенно актуальной она оказывается в моменты кризисов, когда непроверенная информация может рождать опасные социальные последствия. В нашем исследовании, проведенном на студентах одного крупного российского вуза, была апробирована техника непарных чисел для определения процента тех, кто верит слухам о причинах распространения COVID-19. С помощью применения этой техники мы обнаружили, что 15,6% студентов верят слухам. Данная доля была значительно выше в случае применения метода по сравнению с методом прямого вопроса. Работа подтверждает релевантность использования техники непарных чисел для изучения сенситивных вопросов и, в частности, веры граждан в неподтвержденные слухи. Благодарность. Предмет: використання математичного апарату нейронних мереж для наукового обгрунтування протиепідемічних заходів з метою зниження захворюваності при прийнятті ефективних управлінських рішень. Ціль: застосувати кластерний аналіз, на основі нейронної мережі, для вирішення задачі виділення зон розповсюдження захворюваності. Задачі: проаналізувати методи аналізу даних для вирішення задачі кластеризації; розробити нейромережевий метод кластеризації територій України за характером епідемічного процесу COVID-19; на основі розробленого методу реалізувати програмний додаток аналізу даних для виділення зон розповсюдження захворюваності на прикладі коронавірусу COVID-19. Методи: моделі та методи аналізу даних, моделі та методи теорії систем (на базі інформаційного підходу), методи машинного навчання, зокрема метод Adaptive Boosting (на основі методу градієнтного спуску), методи навчання нейронних мереж. Результати: були використані розподілені по областям України дані Центру громадського здоров’я МОЗ України про захворюваність на COVID-19, кількість лабораторно обстежених осіб, кількість проведених лабораторних досліджень методами ПЦР та ІФА, кількість проведених лабораторних досліджень IgA, IgM, IgG; в моделі використані дані з березня 2020 по грудень 2020, при моделюванні не враховані дані з тимчасово окупованих територій України; для кластерного аналізу побудована нейронна мережа з 60 вхідними нейронами, 100 прихованими нейронами з активаційною функцією Фермі та 4 вихідними нейронами; для програмної реалізації моделі використана мова програмування Python. Висновки: проведено аналіз методів побудови нейронних мереж; аналіз методів навчання нейронних мереж, у тому числі методу градієнтного спуску; всі теоретичні вiдомостi, описанi в цiй роботi, були використанi для реалiзації програмного продукту обробки даних тестування на COVID-19 в Україні; було проведено розбиття областей України на зони зараження вірусом COVID-19 та представлено карту цього розбиття.

Метою статті є пошук оптимальних методів побудови тренду з метою аналізу епідеміологічної ситуації в разі подальшого розвитку пандемії COVID-19. Докладно розглянуто завдання, які виникли зі зростом випадків інфікування восени 2020 року. Методи дослідження: узагальнення методу найменших квадратів Гауса та методологія Facebook Prophet. Новизною проведеного дослідження є порівняльний аналіз переваг і недоліків систем, що використовують для оперативної обробки статистичних даних, зокрема електронних таблиць MS Excel. Висновки. Викладений у статті матеріал дає наочні приклади виконання статистичних розрахунків з використанням широко розповсюджених програмних продуктів. Розглянуто проблеми, що виникають у зв’язку з правдивістю статистичної інформації. Представлено приклади реальних розрахунків трендів епідеміологічної ситуації.

Наведено приклади антисистемних партій як виразника економічних інтересів частиникорінного населення країн Європи.Наведено статистичні дані стосовно економічного розвитку Ефіопії, Індонезії, Гаїті, Гондурасу, Болівії, Китаю, Сомалі тощо. Проаналізовано погляди американських, британських,польських, російських та українських вчених на досліджувану проблематику.Підкреслено деструктивне значення екологічних лих та пандемій для розвитку економічної системи. Окрему увагу приділено епізоотіям. Наводяться приклади лісових пожеж в Росії таБразилії у 2019 р. Продемонстровано вплив SARS, лихоманки Ебола та COVID-19 на економічне зростання. Спрогнозовано, які саме сфери можуть найбільше постраждати через пандеміюCOVID-19.

Стаття спрямована на дослідження механізмів податкової політики країн Європейського Союзу (далі – ЄС) з акцентуванням уваги на підходах до оподаткування туристичного бізнесу до початку та протягом 2020 року. Необхідністю проведених досліджень є зміни у податковому та фінансовому законодавстві у країнах ЄС під впливом світової пандемії COVID-19. Відображено основні аспекти оподаткування та підходи до реалізації податкової політики у країнах ЄС з найвищим рівнем туристичної привабливості та кількість відвідувань туристами. Відображенo статистичні дані, які демонструють міру зайнятості у туристичному бізнесі та впливу обсягів туристичного бізнесу на зростання ВВП ЄС загалом та в окремих країнах зокрема. Показано відсоткове співвідношення податкових сплат за рівнями податкової ієрархії ЄС, що доводить необхідність підтримки туризму як важливої сфери для працевлаштування та підвищення привабливості туристичних країн та окремих локацій для зростання внутрішніх та зовнішніх туристичних потоків. Проаналізовано фінансові та податкові механізми та інструменти, які запроваджені окремими країнами ЄС для підтримки підприємств, що зазнали збитків при карантинних умовах та обмеженні своєї діяльності у період світової пандемії. Акцентовано на змінах у загальній політиці ЄС щодо надання податкової інформації країнами-членами щодо резидентів та нерезидентів у бізнес-середовищі та туристичній сфері зокрема.

Инсоляция помещений жилых, общественных зданий и прилегающих территорий регулирует поступление естественного ультрафиолетового излучения и является важным фактором, который необходимо учитывать при проектировании городской застройки. Она способствует ограничению распространения вирусных и бактериальных заболеваний, передающихся как воздушно-капельным аэрозольным путём, так и через общедоступные поверхности помещений. В статье проанализировано современное состояние нормирования и расчёта продолжительности инсоляции в национальных и зарубежных нормах. Показано, что ультрафиолетовый свет поступает в помещения через современное энергосберегающее остекление. Сделан вывод о необходимости сохранения данного фактора в обеспечении безопасности зданий и сооружений.
